Such a beautiful series finale and probably my favorite. Parks and Rec was always there for me whenever I just needed to laugh my ass off and when I was going through some tough times in my life. I'm so happy I had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing town of Pawnee. Looking at everyone's future was so awesome and there were definitely some tears shed multiple times. Goodbye my favorite comedy ever! There will never be any other show like you. You will forever have a special place in my heart.
Amazing. Thought it might be too gimmicky at first but they really gave fantastic closure to everyone and delivered a ton of memorable and funny moments. It was so great to see Anne and Chris back, if only for how damn excited Leslie got and to hear her compliment Anne again. Really a fantastic episode. So sad this show is over.
That was so beautiful and hilarious. I have to admit I cried. Thank you Parks and Recreation, the cast and crew to seven wonderful seasons. Also lol Mark Brandanwitz was the only one without any closure.
Only thing I wanted was to see a flashforward of Ron during the meat drought. Would have been perfect if we saw him hearing about the country running out of meat and him running to a hatch or a door going in and flipping on the lights to reveal it is one huge meat freezer. Then him just smiling.
Just watched it and had to get some tissues for my allergies... lol .... what a truly wonderful series finale that felt like a love letter from/to the cast and to the fans as it gave us the sendoffs. but also the time jumped resolutions that expanded on the lives of the P&R team even further..... loved how they even gave us some closes on even the mania that is Jean Ralphio... lol I wondered if they might sneak in Mark from S1, and possibly Louis C.K.'s character as a little treat, but they weren't needed as just seeing Leslie's reaction to seeing Anne again was a treat enough, as well as knowing that Jerry/Larry/Terry/Gary lived a full life to 100 yrs/old with a still hot wife... lol Bravo P&R folks, that was a very satisfying series finale and thanks for all the laughs along the way.... LOVED the little extra bts footage at the end.... well done!
Really beautiful series finale. Loved the final moment on the canoe for Ron, Leslie pushing Ben out of the way to get to Ann, and Ben announcing Leslie was going to run for governor. The episode stayed true to the show, and it was a fantastic ending.

I was hoping for a where are they now montage at the end and ended up with an entire double episode of it! Loved every damn minute. Cried far too many times. I wish Leslie Knope was real and in charge of the world. I wish that level of commitment to community and government actually existed. She is everything we should aspire to be.
Tears were shed tonight, Goodbye you amazing group of people in that little department that outshined them all called Parks & Rec. Thank you for all of it, Pawnee forever in our hearts <3
That's another great show finished this year 😢 abd just like mentalist & parenthood it was an awesone end to an amazing show......thank you to all the cast, writers and crew for entertaining us all these years and good luck for future work, as I'm sure it will be just as great 😊
I'd like to thank this show and It's writers for these amazing 7 years I love the show and it will be missed dearly and was I the only one who saw so much potiental for so many new shows/spin-off
That was beautiful... I don't know what else to say. Such a perfect show, such a perfect series ender. I was shedding tears of joy, I got so emotional... it's just so great, so magnificent. I really need to thank everybody involved in this wonderful show
Really, really great way to end it that was the appropriate way to end a series in flashfowards with the character growth still growing. I haven't really payed much attention to this show but I have watched it from time to time and I have to say it was the perfect way to end this show.
Such a perfect ending, as everyone else has said. I'm going to miss this show so much. The quality never dipped, it has always been such good entertainment. Thank you Parks and Rec <3
An amazing ending to an amazing show. Loved every bit of the finale. The whole final season was a long goodbye and the series finale was the cherry on top.
In my book, Parks & Rec now joins Scrubs as one of the two sitcoms that ended beautifully.

That was a perfect end to the series and I loved every minute of it.

ReplyDeleteI totally forget Mark existed except for when I'm rewatching s1 and s2 lol. Not much of a loss.
ReplyDeleteVery nice finale. I will miss the warm hug feeling this show gives me.

ReplyDeleteConsidering how many previous season finales could have been a perfect series finale, I had no doubt this would deliver and it did.

I am stumped by that finale. Truly at a loss for words. Beyond my wildest expectations for the Parks & Rec finale. Can make out one word: PERFECTION!
