This episode was ok. I guess Finn maid the episode for me. (Never thought I ever say that, but different actors, different results I suppose) I liked his interaction with Freya. Oh god now there's two of them. Or is there? Idk, saves Rebekah, joins up with Finn, I mean which side is she on?? Guess I'll need one more episode with her to figure it out.
Kol and Klaus- Ok that one scene, was I the only one laughing with when Klaus told Kol to SHUT UP! Lol I praised him for that. Yes please Kol, STFU! He annoyed me so much this episode. But what REALLY made me bust out laughing was when Klaus said, "You are still my brother. We're family, you're my blood." Then turns around and says, "Finn's been dead to me for a long time, it's about time we make that official." LOL Like ok, family is key, I won't kill you, but let's kill our other brother. Hahahaha that was hilarious.
(And MAC, I know you must've been screaming at the tv. Tonight I think I finally saw what you've been seeing this season. Seriously was thinking of you through that whole episode, laughing my ass off, thinking, wow he must be really mad right now. Lmfaoo!)
Baby Hope--sooo cute. Aww her little healing ability. That was the cutest. And Cami, you couldn't figure out that that would be her own power?? I mean you watched Elijah give her a band-aid. He wouldn't give her vamp blood after that. Obviously he wanted it to heal naturally. Smh. That bugged me.
Ok I'm going to say Elijah made me Really nervous just sitting there playing with his hands, i didn't know what the hell he was doing til he mentioned the gas and now I'm yelling, WTF JUST HAPPENED????????? Then I just said, hold on a minute, No white oak stake, no death. Ha!! HE'S OK. HE'S OK!!! Oh god, that was close. And I don't believe Hope did that to the car. Idk who did, but it definitely wasn't Hope.
That ending was outstanding. I was totally off, I thought Cami/Hope were the ones in danger. Thought for sure Freya was going to pop up snd kidnapp Hope. Never pictured that Hope was protecting them because she knew what was going to happen.
Loved the the dialogue between Klaus/Kol and the fact that the Siblings are all working together to stop Finn. I'm guessing we'll get a Freya/Finn vs Klaus/Elijah/Bex/Kol fight with the werewolves and vampires caught in the middle.
Baby heal thyself, baby protect thyself and the annoying blonde that's not Rebekah............that's what happened! Who needs a "Super Werewolf Army" when you are a "Super Hybrid - Witch Baby". Excellent episode thanks to (New) Finn, (New) Rebekah, and Elijah of course! 4 THE ORIGINALS, THE COPIES, AND ALL THE REPEATS, I am Nobody!!!
Yusuf was great, I thought they made him a regular for s2?
Really, it was some terrible dialogue, not only because both Sharman and Morgan are overactors (that work together like two positive magnets) and didn't sell the scene but because Kols 'grief' felt so off.
Loved how Elijah went boom in the end "Elijah Mikaelson, atomic bomb. At your service" should be his new catchphrase.
I do hope that the red door isn't "just dealt with" now o.O
Freya seems to have a hidden agenda. I can't wait to see where that leads.
I know alot of people don't like new Kol, but I really like him. I hope they break his hex.
I don't know why, but every time there's a vampire/werewolf pack fight, it just seems so dull. Maybe because we don't know any of them except Gia and she doesn't do much for me.
the werewolf part of the show is one of the most boring aspects overall, add to that, they could switch out every of Marcel's vampires and we would not notice and they probably do(save for a few exceptions).
That episode went by SO fast. I'm all amped up about Elijah doing to Finn the same thing Elena did to Kai, holding out a hand and using the sunlight and gas to create a mess of fire. Why do writers on both shows keep doing this? No one is that lacking in creativity. There has to be a reason.
Klaus sacrificed himself, so I is he redeemed now? Someone should have thought that through. And if Kol is hexed, then there's no way to save him, unless someone comes up with a Hail Mary that wasn't available to Kieran.
Last week, Klaus told Elijah he was going to kill Jackson after the wedding and Elijah smiled. Now Elijah is going to have a problem with it? Plot hole alert. I don't believe that Klaus is going to do that, even if he's planning to. Jackson and Hayley will probably move into the compound, when the rest of the werewolves return to the city, as a compromise because Klaus will feel threatened by Jackson building a crib and stuff for Hope.
I thought I saw some vein action around Hope's eyes right before Cami took the bandaid off. I think Hope healed herself. I also think that she smelled the gas and her powerful desire to protect herself caused Cami's car to stall. Hope's mind isn't developed enough for her to do anything like that on purpose.
In the episode where the wolves and vamps get locked inside the plaza or whatever they call it, I was actually thinking that. I only seem to recognize the face's of two or three of Marcel's henchman whenever they're all together and I was wondering if they always just grabbed whatever extras they could find that day. They probably do. But I think I only noticed because in season one Marcel had a few close friends in his posse and I never really thought about it, but now they're always just... there.
Idk about "New Finn" being a regular. (Stayed in the dark about that). And when I said, I never thought I'd say that. I meant Finn Mikaelson in general. Not necessarily the actor himself. (Though Yusuf is it? Is a better Finn, but I still didn't warm up to him til about. 3 episodes back).
Elijah was badass at the end. Loved his scenes with Finn. And iI hope it is over.
So it is clear the baby has some mojo. From what ive seen in this episode, Precognition (knew about the explosion), healing, and technopathy (making the car stop).
Seeing elijah do his usual badass thing was amazing and everyone knows elijah is going to survive, but still, going out like that was fricking awesome to watch.
Not a bad episode. Enjoyed the interactions of Freya and Finn. Liked Klause, Kol and Rebekah. And go Baby Hope! Not worried about Elijah, but it was awesome to see him go nuclear postal.
But If this silly, idiotic, bad, terrible, boring, horrid, vomit inducing, snooze worthy, wretched, substandard, inferior, second-rate, second-class, unsatisfactory, inadequate, unacceptable, not up to scratch, not up to par, deficient, imperfect, defective, faulty, shoddy, amateurish, careless, negligent, miserable, sorry wolf storyline doesn't end soon, I may lose my mind.
I don't think I have encountered a group of people or a character, Jackson, that I have ever cared less about. God, soooooo boring. Make it go away.
I liked this episode. Finn was outstanding as usual. Elijah with the most bad ass move he has ever done. I hope they don't kill either of them. But I think Finn might be toast for now unless Freya had done some fail safe option for him. Is Freya good or bad or terrified of Dahlia? Klaus/new Rebekah/Kol scenes were fun. I am still bummed Daniel Sharman will remain as Kol. I want Nate back. Is it too much to ask for. I love Marcel. The werewof army.. meh..
i don't like Hope's SL. i mean she's clearly not a vampire cuz she's alive not a werewolf either cuz she hasnt killed yet ( im guessing? ) so what she's a little witch now? Is that where her power is coming from? I thought you had to learn spells and all.. and healing is kinda difficult one would presume. seriously couldnt she just be a normal baby?
I don't like her SL either. I've never cared for the Goo Goo Godlike trope.
But I'm guessing she doesn't need to bother learnig spells and all because her magic isn't "traditional". I gather she's tapping "raw" ancient magic or some jack like that.
HOLY CRAP HOPE MIKAELSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this little girl protected Cami from a hell of an explosion she is without a doubt powerful as hell AND she can heal fast whoa, Elijah killed vincent in an amazing way, Hayley what the hell are you doing please stay away from that Stalker, i'm still wary on Kol in that can we trust him now? that scene with Klaus was amazing
before Elijah stood up and talked what did you think was going to happen? um the show confirmed Hope's all creatures combined: Vampire, Werewolf and Witch
both of them are still " "alive" ", Elijah cant die via fire or sunlight. With Finn, its only the body he is in that died he will jump to someone else.
Only Micheal has died by an Originals hand (Klaus) and all Originals deaths were via TVD. Finn by Alaric, Kol by Jeremy.
Totally agreed with you. She is tooo cute to age quickly! I can't wait till she starts doing her magic in front of Klaus! Now there is a scene I can't wait to see.
she cannot be all 3 - definiely not a vampire cuz she ain't dead or is she a living vampire now? LOL again at this point i can agree on her being a witch and carring the werewolf gene... but that's it and seriously!!! no baby has that kind of awareness.... even special babies unless they have adults stuck in their tiny bodies!! that's just pure fantasy!!! even Jesus wasn't that powerful and aware at her age XD
we're talking about the first vampire in history to have a child, not a vampire "child" but a child they made like a human would, HOPE ain't possible LOL
Maybe, but they introduced the body lock spell for Kol and he was in a low level witch. all the others seemed to be able to jump at will, and the Freya Finn interaction is very short almost being pointless if he doesn't survive.
Its kinda explained last season, when Sophie brought Esther in and consecrated her, the new magic in their line effected Hope as they used her to bind Esther's magic line to New Orleans ancestral line making Sophie an elder and making her part witch/hybrid.
Exactly, she's not a vampire hybrid, or her blood wouldn't be able to make hybrids. She's a witch with a unactivated werewolf curse. She's not a vampire at all.
I'm guessing though, that her blood will allow her to eventually be all three. Which is so lame I wanna hurl. Why write interesting stories about the dynamic between an extremely dysfunctional family when you can just write about super super powered babies. sigh.
Despite my least favourite character showing up (Cami) and Haley quickly losing grasp or her American accent, it was ok episode.
Basically everything with Kol, Klaus & Rebekah was great. Finn stopped being a bond villain long enough to actually try to do something evil, and Freya showed up to drop what I'm sure is some misdirection and misinformation.
I really like the Kol, Klaus dynamic, because there is so much animosity, hypocrisy, turmoil, angst and drama there. They are both looking for the same thing, love and acceptance from family and yet neither of them see it. I really hope they find a way to lift the "locked in" part of the curse so Kol can jump into another body (maybe NB) though I'm loving Kaleb a lot so part of me wants them to lift the hex. Whatever happens I don't want to lose Kol.
Everything about the wolves and vamps was boring as usual. This wolf shit is reaching fever pitch in annoyance for me, I honestly could not care less about these backwoods wolves and their reach for power. This storyline better wrap up this season and be left in the dust.
Elijah finally returns... and mends a fence. (WTF) And then takes a page from Elena's book and sets himself on fire. It would have been more badass if I didn't already see the same stunt on TVD. Still I love Elijah so no judgement (ok just a little).
I doubt Finn is dead. Didn't they pull something similar with Davina last season, a spell or charm or something that will bring you back from the dead. But I'm guessing Freya has him and is probably not ready to let him go.
Last and least baby Mikaelson. I've never been a fan of her storyline to begin with, but making her into a "super" baby destroys any good will I could have possibly had towards her. No one needs to protect her because she can damn well protect herself. She doesn't understand that pulling a tablecloth with stuff on it may hurt, but she knows how to stop a car from driving into an explosion. Right, that makes sense.
I'm still holding out hope that it was actually Freya who healed Hope and stopped the car because having Hope be some super powered baby would be the lamest development this show has done. In fact it would be great and make sense if she was simply a wolf with an unactivated curse. No magic, no mystical-ism, just for the most part a normal baby. LOL (like that's gonna happen, she already creates hybrids).
The only thing I care about in relation to Jackson is how soon before he dies.... and preferably not at Elijahs hands or it'll put a big wedge between him and Haley unless Jackson betrays her first.
You are awesome Twin.,, Thank you for this.:) Baby Hope is not only adorable,, but she is being written as the new Savior. No wonder Celeste wanted to evaluate this baby's power,, when she and Haley were in the garden last season,, and Celeste performed the,, old folklore tried and true necklace experiment,,, where you hang it over the Baby belly and it will give you an indication of whether it is female or male by which direction it will swing. Back and forth,, Male. Circle,, female. But this thing went nuts, back, forth, up, down, sideways. She definitely gave Celeste the big F.U. lolol . That baby shocked her to her very core. This is one all time powerful, futuristic style but very real,, Hybrid Witch. If anything,, this is one of the better episodes I have seen all season. I am back on board with this Episode. WTPA4E Always and Forever,, Rock & Roll T.O. .
Hi Shannon,, and OH, Shannon. Elijah was awesome in this Ep. This was Elijah,, and the baby saved him. He was all grey and dried up. The closer to home Cami and the Baby get,, Elijah was normal looking and strong enough to pull the pole out,, guess he couldn't reach the Axe in his back, lol,, but he was amazed himself. He put it together I'm sure,, as to what was happening. His spell was broken,, b/c Fin was dying,, so the "Red " door was no longer needed, as a focal point, to go into a maniacal Blood thirsty Binge. This ep was (imo) .one of the better since last season.. Kol spell was broken when the house blew up,, and even if it wasn't. Baby Hope will take care of her Uncle and Freya. Hope will take care of old meanie Great Aunt D. While Fin was playing the Psychologist Supervisor for Cami,, he was good. I liked him that way,, but this Fin, went in the opposite direction. Also,, a great way of setting up the introduction of the new Big Bad. I was so happy Marcel came through for Haley and Jackson. Nicklaus showed affection and appreciation,, to his siblings. Everyone trusted Elijah to handle any situation in the protection of Baby Hope. They stuck to the plan of trust,, and that is amazing in itself,, that the Mikaelsons actually worked not only as a team,, but as a family. That is a Miracle in itself. I enjoyed this Ep very much,, Can you tell?:)) Maybe next week,, you'll see Elijah get jealous over the prenuptial of Haley & Jackson. Also,, you may get a Valentines boost,, if there any Caro & Stefan scenes, (Yak) See,, I'm trying to cheer you up:)
I'm just glad you enjoyed it. I mean for someone who wanted to drop the show, you sure did a 360 on this episode, you said a lot, I really don't have anything to add. I'm just glad you enjoyed it. I gather you're sticking with it til the finale then?
I suck sometimes,, I know. lolol I was so dissapointed with the Family Mythology change,, that it really bummed me out.
It was like all the knowledge I had on the Original Family,,meant squat. When it came to all this new stuff,, and I am not that big on change,, especially right away. I need to tip toe around and Like my she wolf,, sniff out the air and see which way the wind is blowing. I hated what they did to Elijah and I am happy that seems to be over as of last night. Fin and his craziness is over,, happy with that,, but not loosing Fin. That I share with you.
Yeah,, I guess I'll be around. Can you put up with me until then? D
I get that, my point was it wasn't the first evidence of precognitive abilities, though they seem to have dropped that power of Bonnie's, so maybe Hope is the only one.
I agree. This was quite an interesting episode. I liked it too.
I think Freya will turn out to be bad. The way she said that some have to die for others to live makes me think that she doesn't want the baby to live. The question is: Is she acting on her own? Or is she in league with Dahlia? Or is she just running from Dahlia as she said?
Wait, is it confirmed that Daniel Sherman is staying on as Kol? Does that mean Finn is the one who dies and his death is confirmed in 2x14?
I agree with you. I loved seeing Elijah and I love Daniel Gillies loved to see him in action I was scared for him and Elijah and baby Hope they are so cute. Hope saved Cami and she saved Elijah also. Was surprised that Marcel helped Jackson. Liked the family moments and everyone trusted that Elijah would keep Hope safe- of course he would. Not a fan of this wedding and not a fan of Haley and Jackson yes I am a ELijah and Haley fan and I would love for them to talk and declare their feelings but I wont be that lucky. I dont know if I can watch this wedding.
I agree I am a Elijah and Haley fan also. And I rather it be klaus that kills him. so whats your opinion do you think Kaley will be endgame that is what that fan fandom says. know I should not listen to people. but people think that Haley and Klaus should get married and Elijah and Haley have more of a brother and sister relationship. Dont think so- they must not seen that love scene. Dont want love triangle between brothers
I dont trust Freya it seems that she wants to hurt hope. I know Elijah is ok becasue he is next weeks promo (thank goodness). I dont like Finn but I dont think that he is going anywhere. And I did read that someone was going to die the only thing I can think of is Elijah killing Klaus. Elijah is one sexy man. especially when he gets angry. Hope is so cute
I liked this episode. Glad Elijah is back ( i have a secret crush love Daniel GIllies). i was worried for awhile. So did Hope save Elijah?? Elijah and Hope so cute. I wished that Elijah could have a baby on the show. Like the friendship between Elijah and Haley. Still cant stand Jackson seems all he wants is power.
I liked this episode. Glad Elijah was back, Hope and Elijah is so cute and interesting that Hope has those powers. She saved Cami and did she save Elijah. Enjoyed the kick ass Elijah. Elijah can cook, do dishes and fix things. Like the friendship between Elijah and Haley. I enjoyed the scenes with Kol and hope he can be trusted and I hope he can be saved. And everyone trusts Elijah that he will protect Hope. The wolves did not like that to much not into this wedding storyline have not been. Dont trust Jackson and dont trust Freya. Was scarred for Elijah for awhile. I liked the episode would think it would have higher rating. Kind of like the new Rebekkah but like Claire better. Elijah folding clothes so cute.
It was already heavily, heavily implied in season one that she could perform magic. And lame? How is that lame? She's basically going to be a witch with vampiric healing abilities, the ability to control wolf transformations and own property. Plus it's so cool that she can do that.
No, just no. One Hope's not a creepy cgi-ed baby (she's cute as f*ck!). Two this show unlike Twilight has an actual plot and characters with personality. Three Vampires don't sparkle in the f*cking sunlight! Four Hope is more like the hybrid hexenbiest baby Diana in Grimm. And five, no just no.
Hi Hope, i'm sure there will not be a wedding. Klaus was wearing his "I've got a surprise or secret" smirk on his face.,,, on the flip side,, that would be a little uncomfortable, with Hope :) Her calling Elijah,, Uncle Elijah,, while he is her fathers brother., and married to her mother.. . Just a little to "All in the Family" for me. i believe this is what is holding Hayley back from Elijah also. Believe it or not,, I think Klaus has deeper feelings for Hayley then he will even admit to himself. I am a Kloroline fan, and I don't care for Haley's character,, but if shipping will make sense of & to an SL,, then I guess it is what it is. I will say Elijah ruled this episode,, with back up from everyone.
Jackson,, is sweet,, but he is formulating ideas. I'm sure with the help of his grandmother Mary. We will find out more next week. Should be good,, we Hope:)))
Clearly we have different ideas of what is cool. All powerful babies (all powerful beings in general) don't really do it for me. I prefer characters that have vulnerabilities, or whose abilities link directly to their personalities.
For example part of what I loved about Klaus was that he was unique. He was the only hybrid in existence which fed into his delusional ideas about being left alone. His attempt to create more hybrids only resulted in disaster which again fed into his paranoia. Now that Haley is a hybrid as well, some of that uniqueness is gone. That probably doesn't bother you, and in the bigger scheme of things is probably not a big deal, but it does dig at me a bit.
As for Hope, turning her into this super baby kinda negates the need for her protection. It means everything we've gone through for the last season and half was kinda for nothing in her regard.
Her blood allowed Elijah to break Tunde's hold on Rebekah. But despite Klaus' powers, or Elijah's or any beings of their level's strength, what makes a character vulnerable is their personality, their flaws (which yes Hope does not have yet, but she's not even a year-old she's not essential to the taking down of villains or has a big role.) Not really, Hope maybe be of great magical potential but she's still an infant, she could be harmed (as shown when she was cut) she might heal fast but she's still an infant. Finn or Freya or Dahila still pose a grave threat to her, there power and control and self-awareness and psychological and physiological development ensure that. He's still unique though. He's the original Hybrid, a progenitor of an entire race.
I think in the end Freya will turn out to be an ally and Dahlia will be the ultimate villain. I had this feeling she was really scared of Dahlia. She could be faking it. I notice the necklace too. It made me think maybe Dahlia is controlling her or communicating with her using it. She was very clinical when talking about the baby. Makes me think she is scared for her life. I think the baby might give her freedom from Dahlia.
I do not follow The Originals spoilers so no clue there. I like both Finn and Kol. I don't want to choose. Can I give Davina as an alternative to die. She is pretty useless this season. She was one of my favorite last season. I don't see how Finn can come out of that explosion alive unless he body jumped which means we won't see Yusuf Gatewood again. *sniff*
I do not mind werewolf mythology here as much as I used to in TVD at one time. But still there needs to be more dynamic characters there. I like the wedding ritual and the future possibilities of how they can over power the vampires. But Jackson is such a wet blanket of a character. His devotion to Hayley is a bit too much to stomach. I wish they had kept Ansel on instead of killing him off in one episode. He is an elder with so much knowledge.
Hope is so cute and with so much powers already. Would we get an accelerated growth scenario here?
I noticed the thing with Freyas necklace too!! From what Freya said it seems like Dahlia wants to stay young (because of the whole sleeping for 100 years spell) so maybe Dahlia somehow steals youth and the necklace has something to do with it? Or maybe Freya is not even Freya.. maybe Dahlia is in her body..
But despite Klaus' powers, or Elijah's or any beings of their level's strength, what makes a character vulnerable is their personality, their flaws
Again, you take part of what am I saying and misconstrue it to make your counter point. I'm not saying that it's just about a physical vulnerability. I'm saying the best writing (to me) is when all these layers come together. When a physical vulnerability is mirrored in a personality trait, which then ties directly to their actions and even the plot.
Klaus was/is arguably the most powerful being on the planet, but he's not invincible, and the thing that can kill him drives a ton of his insanity and paranoia and plot, plot, plot. Without the stake? Don't you think he would lose some of his appeal? That's his physical vulnerability tying directly into his personality.
IMO making baby Hope all powerful (if she is) removes a good chunk of the danger around her in a way that isn't very compelling. Yes she can get cut, but will she ever get cut again? She could sense an impending explosion, are we to believe that she won't be able to sense and prevent any other danger that comes her way?
No I don't think he'd lose appeal. I like Klaus because he's a sympathic tragic villain who can be fun, menacing, and badass, yet also kind, protective of those he cares for and is interesting. Except his far more paranoia is driven by perceiving himself as the black sheep and suffering years of abuse by his parents and a fear of being alone and unloved.
Arrghhh... LOL. You're frustrating me, because I'm saying the sky is cerulean, and you're saying no it's blue.
I think at the end of the day, I'm looking for (and seeing) something deeper in Klaus (and maybe the show in general) than you are. And since this all started from my extreme dislike of the Hope plot line, I don't think it's fair to say that either of us is correct.
In the end it's all just opinion. If it's working for you, cool. I hope it's working for everyone else too, because even though it was renewed for a third season, the ratings aren't great, and I don't want it to get cancelled.
Lol. I see the depth to Klaus personality wise, but powers those are just about coolness/justifiability (I don't think I character should be too OP though) to me. Same I hope the show stays.
According to IMDB...Yusef is in episodes 14,15,16,17, 18. 19. 20, 21, and 22. Oh joy! I am sure Elijah saved him. Hopefully it will be flashbacks. Gawd....more of Finn's incessant tirades about being wronged etc....personally I can safely say that I am OVER IT.
I think everyone has their opinions. And I dont think Haley and Elijah relationship is weird I think Hope knows who her father is and I dont think that Haley is holding back she admitted she loved him. There are a lot of fans of them there is a lot of angst and I want them to happen. Will never be a fan of Kaley (romantic) and Hope they dont go that route, and no love triangles. I think Klaus cares for Haley as part of a family. For me them having a romance is a repeat of the Vampire Diaries and dont need that. Its TV complicated is good. I do love Elijah and agree he rocked the episode and I do think Klaus has something plan. Maybe Freya will do something. I am used to people not agreeing with Elijah and Haley but I think they have a beautiful relationship and a lot of people feel the same way- but everyone has their opinions
My friend Shannon has been a great supporter of Haley and Elijah,, and I support her choice. I normally don't discuss shipping,, I just threw it in there. But I also through in,, that if the ship supports and adds to the SL,, all the better. I am stuck on Kol telling Bex he will get her body back for her. I know Clair Holt signed on as a full time character on Aquarius,, so that I'm still puzzling over. Elijah is usually always awesome and my Klaus IS always awesome,, but when they work together as a team,,they are unstoppable,, if the whole crew unites,,They will become Unbeatable. I would like to see that happen at least once before they go at each other again....
Thank you another person that agrees with me. I listen to the after buzz and this person always says Kaley is endgame I sure hope not dont need a repeat of the Vampire Diaries and no love triangles, Elijah said it himself that he does not love easy. I want Elijah and Haley to be endgame but according to Julie article said that Klaus will be in the mix. I hope that is not true. I am tired of people saying that because Elijah is Hopes Uncle that, relationship is not good to much all in the family. Who cares. Its a show complication is good and Hopes is gonna know who her father is. Someone called me a sick freak because I loved their love scene but I guess there is a lot of us out there. This season has been hard on this couple a lot of angst. Kaley fans say that Klaus trusts Haley and cares for her. I hope he cares about her as family and I dont think Klaus trully trust anyone. I wonder if the I love you will ever happen and will Elijah and Haley talk and maybe she is crying because she think Elijah is dead. I am a Cami and Klaus fan and like Elijah and Cami as friends especially the virginity comment
JP explained it in a interview as Hope is a living Hybrid, and had her witch line activated when they consecrated Esther's remains. sounds like they are using her as a future story line to have all 3 come together.
Big Bad sounds like Dahlia, as she said she would come for ALL the children, so Im guessing there will be a major team up with Esther, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol. I'm not sure where Mickeal will stand but it sounds like Freya with stand with the others as she is running from Dahlia and Finn seems like he will side with however Esther and Freya will side with. LOL and I thought I had family problems.
I think they had the Cami character to put an emotional said to Klaus both romantic and professional, but with the current family store line isn't not needed as it show his emotional POV.
celeste needed agnes to die (she was the last Elder) so she could take control of the witches so she made up the prophecy that Hope would be the death of all witches
or she finally decided she can't go through with it, i have this headcanon in my head that in that scene Elijah comes to Hayley and tells her he loves her and not to do this and he proposes to her with the greatest proposal speech ever, how insane am i? LOL
until its confirmed you can't say he's dead or why bring in the body lock spell for Kol and turning Esther's current vessel into a vampire to lock her in.
Yeah but that would be the act of Elijah being able to control himself and pull off his ring not the final outcome of Finns spirt being dead as well as the Vincent body.
You can never run from Family,, they have this innate ability of sniffing us out. lol Mikael, hmmm, is he aware of the entire situation? I mien,, in the new Mythology,, Esther went to her sister for help on having a family. Does Mr.M know about all of this yet? I am also not sure of Freya,, unless her plan was to destroy Fin all along. Something is not right here with that story of Freya's,, she is in hiding something. That Necklace she wears has me thinking about Tatiana's necklace that Esther stole and gave to Bex for safe keeping. It all ties in together. Just unsure how.
If I am given a choice,, Then I will go with Jackson. He is planning something,, and I am sure this New Grandmother,, that has miraculously popped up,, will be the new "Head Master". I wish Eve could have stuck around instead of being killed off.
Thinking,,,Celeste did not start the prophecy,, that was written long before Celeste. Witches and Warlocks were created to support the balance of the spirit world. The Nola witches have been abusing that power. Instead of passing it on,, they figured a way of keeping the power and controlling whom and how it is used,, through channeling. "Harvest witches"
The prophecy was a super Hybrid witch will be born,, and will restore the balance in nature and unite all super natural creatures or they will be destroyed. If this were to happen,, the Nola witches will lose there hold & powers. Unable to control the outcome of there wishes.
Destroying Hayley was there first attempt,, but in their desperation of destroying the baby,, only left everyone involved in saving the baby more desperate,, and actually united a few squabbling sectors to unite in the belief this baby will bring peace and justice to there lives.
Oliver tried his best at helping the witches,, but we saw where that got him. Taking orders or following direction from a female who does not change,,(Hayley, & Eve) is/was a crime against the Wolf Clan nature,, so he saw them as traitors. He learned he was wrong in the end.
It is not death to all witches,, but to those,, whom do not support the "Natural" order,, or divine providence,, depicted by the creator of the "Spirit World." God himself. So,, to me,, Baby Hope,,represents goodness,, so she is a powerful little "Angel".:))
Nicklaus has an Angel for a daughter,, that is going to blow his mind.!!! Can't wait for that explosive realization. Have we ever seen Nicklaus speechless?? LOL
Why does everyone hate Jackson? He seems like one of the few redeeming characters if we go by morals alone.
Episode was awesome. Finn has to be one of the best villains, but as a few said before we needed him to be changed out for a new top dog to be put in place, Dahlia. I have no doubt in my mind that Dahlia is inhabiting Freya.
Also I wonder if Mikael and Esther are coming back. Episode gets 10/10.
Can someone explain the spell Dahlia casted? The immortality one?

ReplyDeleteHoly Shit the Ending!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis episode was ok.
ReplyDeleteKol and Klaus- Ok that one scene, was I the only one laughing with when Klaus told Kol to SHUT UP!
Everything else was boringgg And Bye Finn.
That ending was outstanding. I was totally off, I thought Cami/Hope were the ones in danger. Thought for sure Freya was going to pop up snd kidnapp Hope. Never pictured that Hope was protecting them because she knew what was going to happen.
ReplyDeleteLoved the the dialogue between Klaus/Kol and the fact that the Siblings are all working together to stop Finn. I'm guessing we'll get a Freya/Finn vs Klaus/Elijah/Bex/Kol fight with the werewolves and vampires caught in the middle.
Loved It !!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry he's alive. I g2g. (Sleepy Hollow is on now) But I gave you a s/o in my comment.
ReplyDeleteBaby heal thyself, baby protect thyself and the annoying blonde that's not Rebekah............that's what happened!
ReplyDeletelet's hope so :P
ReplyDeleteIt was a good episode look like baby Hope is going to be powerful
ReplyDeleteYusuf was great, I thought they made him a regular for s2?
ReplyDeleteReally, it was some terrible dialogue, not only because both Sharman and Morgan are overactors (that work together like two positive magnets) and didn't sell the scene but because Kols 'grief' felt so off.
Loved how Elijah went boom in the end "Elijah Mikaelson, atomic bomb. At your service" should be his new catchphrase.
I do hope that the red door isn't "just dealt with" now o.O
Of course he is, they're not killing Elijah.
ReplyDeleteThey did make him a regular so I think he's safe. Probably a reset to buy some time, lull everyone into a sense os security and then bam!
ReplyDeleteYeah, hope they keep the guy around. He really sold the creepy nature of Finn.
ReplyDeleteFreya seems to have a hidden agenda. I can't wait to see where that leads.
ReplyDeleteI know alot of people don't like new Kol, but I really like him. I hope they break his hex.
I don't know why, but every time there's a vampire/werewolf pack fight, it just seems so dull. Maybe because we don't know any of them except Gia and she doesn't do much for me.
I'm talking about Elijah not Finn.
ReplyDeleteOh, Elijah is beyond safe, not even a question.
ReplyDeletethe werewolf part of the show is one of the most boring aspects overall, add to that, they could switch out every of Marcel's vampires and we would not notice and they probably do(save for a few exceptions).
ReplyDelete: )
ReplyDeleteThat episode went by SO fast. I'm all amped up about Elijah doing to Finn the same thing Elena did to Kai, holding out a hand and using the sunlight and gas to create a mess of fire. Why do writers on both shows keep doing this? No one is that lacking in creativity. There has to be a reason.
ReplyDeleteKlaus sacrificed himself, so I is he redeemed now?
But I think I only noticed because in season one Marcel had a few close friends in his posse and I never really thought about it, but now they're always just... there.
ReplyDeleteIdk about "New Finn" being a regular. (Stayed in the dark about that). And when I said, I never thought I'd say that. I meant Finn Mikaelson in general. Not necessarily the actor himself. (Though Yusuf is it? Is a better Finn, but I still didn't warm up to him til about. 3 episodes back).
ReplyDeleteElijah was badass at the end. Loved his scenes with Finn. And iI hope it is over.
I am in a minority. I don't have much to nitpick about this episode. I liked Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah working together.
ReplyDeleteI was worried for a moment. Seriously....guy playing Finn was a great actor...however he was beginning to be a pain.
ReplyDeleteSo it is clear the baby has some mojo. From what ive seen in this episode, Precognition (knew about the explosion), healing, and technopathy (making the car stop).
ReplyDeleteSeeing elijah do his usual badass thing was amazing and everyone knows elijah is going to survive, but still, going out like that was fricking awesome to watch.
Not a bad episode. Enjoyed the interactions of Freya and Finn. Liked Klause, Kol and Rebekah. And go Baby Hope! Not worried about Elijah, but it was awesome to see him go nuclear postal.
ReplyDeleteBut If this silly, idiotic, bad, terrible, boring, horrid, vomit inducing, snooze worthy, wretched, substandard, inferior, second-rate, second-class, unsatisfactory, inadequate, unacceptable, not up to scratch, not up to par, deficient, imperfect, defective, faulty, shoddy, amateurish, careless, negligent, miserable, sorry wolf storyline doesn't end soon, I may lose my mind.
I don't think I have encountered a group of people or a character, Jackson, that I have ever cared less about. God, soooooo boring. Make it go away.
How does a child of a Hybrid and Wolf get witchy powers?
ReplyDeleteElijah's finishing move...badass.
There should be a Whatever option.
ReplyDeleteElijah did something other than talk on the phone. Pigs must be flying somewhere.
I still don't care about Messiah baby. Her next trick will be telerportation.
I'm cranky old man yelling at clouds. But I approve of new Finn.
She's Jehovah by way of Yggdrasil and Acca Larentia, just roll with it
ReplyDeleteMaybe those fanatical witches from S1 (who are all dead now) who were freaked out about Hayley's pregnancy were right all along.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah I forgot about them!
ReplyDeleteLMAO! What?! Ok that's a good explanation as any, I'll roll with it!
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode. The werewof army.. meh..
ReplyDeletei don't like Hope's SL. i mean she's clearly not a vampire cuz she's alive not a werewolf either cuz she hasnt killed yet ( im guessing? ) so what she's a little witch now? Is that where her power is coming from? I thought you had to learn spells and all.. and healing is kinda difficult one would presume. seriously couldnt she just be a normal baby?
ReplyDeleteI don't like her SL either. I've never cared for the Goo Goo Godlike trope.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm guessing she doesn't need to bother learnig spells and all because her magic isn't "traditional". I gather she's tapping "raw" ancient magic or some jack like that.
LOL! So dumb.
ReplyDeleteThe more we learn about Hope, the more like Twilight this show becomes.
ReplyDeleteso he's dead right? he's the Original that died by another Original's hand?
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP HOPE MIKAELSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this little girl protected Cami from a hell of an explosion she is without a doubt powerful as hell AND she can heal fast whoa, Elijah killed vincent in an amazing way, Hayley what the hell are you doing please stay away from that Stalker, i'm still wary on Kol in that can we trust him now? that scene with Klaus was amazing
ReplyDeleteRIGHT?! never saw it coming and i can usually see these things coming, but this caught me completely off guard
ReplyDeletebefore Elijah stood up and talked what did you think was going to happen? um the show confirmed Hope's all creatures combined: Vampire, Werewolf and Witch
ReplyDeleteLOL i like that catchprase
ReplyDeletedon't worry i don't think they'll Connor her from Angel
ReplyDeleteyeah she's all three
ReplyDeleteboth of them are still " "alive" ", Elijah cant die via fire or sunlight. With Finn, its only the body he is in that died he will jump to someone else.
ReplyDeleteOnly Micheal has died by an Originals hand (Klaus) and all Originals deaths were via TVD. Finn by Alaric, Kol by Jeremy.
is he our first precognitive Witch?
ReplyDeleteor Grimm
ReplyDeleteBonnie had precognitive dreams around the time she was discovering her powers
ReplyDeleteDamn, Elijah brought his famous badassness back! the way he blew up that house was outstanding!
ReplyDeleteeverything else I liked, no complaints today :p
I really don't get what you are ranting about? It literally makes zero sense.....kinda reminds me of click bate.....
ReplyDeleteTotally agreed with you. She is tooo cute to age quickly! I can't wait till she starts doing her magic in front of Klaus! Now there is a scene I can't wait to see.
ReplyDeleteshe cannot be all 3 - definiely not a vampire cuz she ain't dead or is she a living vampire now? LOL again at this point i can agree on her being a witch and carring the werewolf gene... but that's it and seriously!!! no baby has that kind of awareness.... even special babies unless they have adults stuck in their tiny bodies!! that's just pure fantasy!!! even Jesus wasn't that powerful and aware at her age XD
ReplyDeletethen the show has gone nuts cuz that ain't possible....
ReplyDeleteshe has vampire attributes: she can heal and heal others and turn humans so yeah she's the first living vampire
ReplyDeletewe're talking about the first vampire in history to have a child, not a vampire "child" but a child they made like a human would, HOPE ain't possible LOL
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but they introduced the body lock spell for Kol and he was in a low level witch. all the others seemed to be able to jump at will, and the Freya Finn interaction is very short almost being pointless if he doesn't survive.
ReplyDeleteIts kinda explained last season, when Sophie brought Esther in and consecrated her, the new magic in their line effected Hope as they used her to bind Esther's magic line to New Orleans ancestral line making Sophie an elder and making her part witch/hybrid.
ReplyDeleteExactly, she's not a vampire hybrid, or her blood wouldn't be able to make hybrids. She's a witch with a unactivated werewolf curse. She's not a vampire at all.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing though, that her blood will allow her to eventually be all three. Which is so lame I wanna hurl. Why write interesting stories about the dynamic between an extremely dysfunctional family when you can just write about super super powered babies. sigh.
the strange thing is, the baby was awake when she became aware of what was about to happen.
ReplyDeleteDespite my least favourite character showing up (Cami) and Haley quickly losing grasp or her American accent, it was ok episode.
ReplyDeleteBasically everything with Kol, Klaus & Rebekah was great.
Except he'd then have to find it in the rubble of the house afterwards when he won't be in terribly good condition.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I care about in relation to Jackson is how soon before he dies.... and preferably not at Elijahs hands or it'll put a big wedge between him and Haley unless Jackson betrays her first.
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome Twin.,, Thank you for this.:) Baby Hope is not only adorable,, but she is being written as the new Savior.
ReplyDeleteIf anything,, this is one of the better episodes I have seen all season.
I am back on board with this Episode. WTPA4E
Always and Forever,,
Rock & Roll T.O.
ReplyDeleteWhile Fin was playing the Psychologist Supervisor for Cami,, he was good.
I enjoyed this Ep very much,, Can you tell?:))
Maybe next week,, you'll see Elijah get jealous over the prenuptial of Haley & Jackson.
Also,, you may get a Valentines boost,, if there any Caro & Stefan scenes, (Yak) See,, I'm trying to cheer you up:)
A & F
Rock & Roll T.O.!!
Wow...I have nothing to say. Hey Lynne. That's pretty much it.
ReplyDeleteIdk.
ReplyDeleteWell,, at least you said "Hey Lynne",, that helps:)
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad you enjoyed it. I mean for someone who wanted to drop the show, you sure did a 360 on this episode, you said a lot, I really don't have anything to add. I'm just glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI gather you're sticking with it til the finale then?
It's highly unlikely he'd successfully hold onto it while enduring an explosion like that anyway but let's not split hairs.
ReplyDeleteI suck sometimes,, I know. lolol
ReplyDeleteI was so dissapointed with the Family Mythology change,, that it really bummed me out.
ReplyDeleteMatt killed Finn
ReplyDeleteMy Bad, got mixed up, Alaric daggered Elijah
ReplyDeleteYeah I know what you mean. Same here "change and all".
ReplyDeleteNo worries, it happens.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This was quite an interesting episode. I liked it too.
ReplyDeleteI think Freya will turn out to be bad.
This episode was awesome and I'm looking forward to learning more about baby Hope's power. Sooo cool.
ReplyDeleteSo maybe I'm not in the minority? ha
ReplyDeleteI agree with you.
ReplyDeleteI agree I am a Elijah and Haley fan also.
ReplyDeleteI dont trust Freya it seems that she wants to hurt hope.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode.
ReplyDeleteIt was already heavily, heavily implied in season one that she could perform magic. And lame? How is that lame? She's basically going to be a witch with vampiric healing abilities, the ability to control wolf transformations and own property. Plus it's so cool that she can do that.
ReplyDeleteNo, just no.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but f*ck New Orleans witches they're batshit crazy.
ReplyDeleteHe's super strong he might be able to.
ReplyDeleteHi Hope,
ReplyDeletei'm sure there will not be a wedding.
I cannot disagree with that.
ReplyDeleteClearly we have different ideas of what is cool. All powerful babies (all powerful beings in general) don't really do it for me. I prefer characters that have vulnerabilities, or whose abilities link directly to their personalities.
ReplyDeleteFor example part of what I loved about Klaus was that he was unique.
ReplyDeleteI think in the end Freya will turn out to be an ally and Dahlia will be the ultimate villain.
ReplyDeleteI do not follow The Originals spoilers so no clue there.
ReplyDeleteNah.... Klaus seems to be supportive of Elijah /Haley IMO and it's Klaus & Haley who I think are more brother and sister now - both have moved on.
ReplyDeleteLOL.... he does have vamp strength and speed ;P
ReplyDeleteBut despite Klaus' powers, or Elijah's or any beings of their level's strength, what makes a character vulnerable is their personality, their flaws
ReplyDeleteAgain, you take part of what am I saying and misconstrue it to make your counter point.
ReplyDeleteArrghhh... LOL. You're frustrating me, because I'm saying the sky is cerulean, and you're saying no it's blue.
ReplyDeleteI think at the end of the day, I'm looking for (and seeing) something deeper in Klaus (and maybe the show in general) than you are.
ReplyDeleteI'd agree with you but, like Graydon pointed out, physics.
ReplyDeleteI live for baby Hope scenes!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till she is back in the quarter with her parents...giving poor ole Klaus fits!
His facial expressions when doing magic were really hilarical to me!
ReplyDeleteSeriously!
I hope his mortal self is done. His rage is really off putting. I'm at the point of telling him "get over it". Its sooo tiresome and dull.
ReplyDeleteCami has a masters degree...and could not figure that out....she is seriously waste, IMO.
ReplyDeleteAccording to IMDB...Yusef is in episodes 14,15,16,17, 18. 19. 20, 21, and 22. Oh joy!
ReplyDeleteI am sure Elijah saved him. Hopefully it will be flashbacks. Gawd....more of Finn's incessant tirades about being wronged etc....personally I can safely say that I am OVER IT.
Our opinions differ. To each his own. I accept your dislike. Lol = )
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteHe is a good actor. I wish the writers could write....but that is a separate issue.
I hope he's dead. Lol
ReplyDeleteYou know me....not a fan of how the writers have been writing her....
ReplyDeleteCurrently my least favorite character.
LOL
ReplyDeleteI know girl....however, I think he is with us until end of season.
Twilight......the baby could do the same thing....
ReplyDeleteMore then one kind of vampire.
Feels like more click bate .....
Hahahaha really?
ReplyDeletethen who's the Original killed by another Original?
ReplyDeletewhat don't you know?
ReplyDeletewho do you think is the new Big Bad?
ReplyDeletethe prophecy celeste gave was fake though
ReplyDeletehmm cool
ReplyDeleteforgot about that
ReplyDeleteHayley's in love with Elijah
ReplyDeleteOMG....that scene when he is in the house with Elijah....his eyes were all over the place....making his facial contortions all the more hilarious.
ReplyDeleteWell, that would depend on how the "Big Bad" is being used.
ReplyDeleteBig Bad as in A Kick azz good person,, Baby Hope. lololol
Otherwise it is a toss up. Freya, Dahlia,, and as always,, Nicklaus!!
How so? refresh my memory please,,
ReplyDeleteHa, sorry, I didn't notice.
ReplyDeleteZzzzzz. Fanfuckingtastic. = (
ReplyDeleteEh, maybe she'll surprise you. When? No clue. Lol
ReplyDeleteThe answer to your question.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone has their opinions.
ReplyDeleteMy friend Shannon has been a great supporter of Haley and Elijah,, and I support her choice. I normally don't discuss shipping,, I just threw it in there. But I also through in,, that if the ship supports and adds to the SL,, all the better.
ReplyDeleteI am stuck on Kol telling Bex he will get her body back for her.
ReplyDeleteYes she is- Now if they would ever tell one another how they feel that will be dragged out. Maybe she is crying because she thinks Elijah is dead.
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteMickeal was killed by Klaus
ReplyDeleteJP explained it in a interview as Hope is a living Hybrid, and had her witch line activated when they consecrated Esther's remains. sounds like they are using her as a future story line to have all 3 come together.
ReplyDeleteHer blood can be used to turn werewolves into hybrids so in theory she can turn humans into vampires.
ReplyDeleteit is a fictional show after all :)
ReplyDeletewhat did i ask? LOL
ReplyDeleteBig Bad sounds like Dahlia, as she said she would come for ALL the children, so Im guessing there will be a major team up with Esther, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol. I'm not sure where Mickeal will stand but it sounds like Freya with stand with the others as she is running from Dahlia and Finn seems like he will side with however Esther and Freya will side with. LOL and I thought I had family problems.
ReplyDeleteBig Bad is a term used for the villain the heroes have to up against during the season of a show, it started with Buffy
ReplyDeleteI think they had the Cami character to put an emotional said to Klaus both romantic and professional, but with the current family store line isn't not needed as it show his emotional POV.
ReplyDeletevincent's dead so he doesn't count
ReplyDeleteKlaus and Camille are still a ship
ReplyDeleteceleste needed agnes to die (she was the last Elder) so she could take control of the witches so she made up the prophecy that Hope would be the death of all witches
ReplyDeleteor she finally decided she can't go through with it, i have this headcanon in my head that in that scene Elijah comes to Hayley and tells her he loves her and not to do this and he proposes to her with the greatest proposal speech ever, how insane am i? LOL
ReplyDeleteuntil its confirmed you can't say he's dead or why bring in the body lock spell for Kol and turning Esther's current vessel into a vampire to lock her in.
ReplyDeletevirginity comment?
ReplyDeleteto show a different side of Kaleb, vincent died to show that Elijah can control himself now even with The Red Door wide open
ReplyDeleteLOVE between Hayley and Elijah you mean
ReplyDeleteyou keep putting FRIENDSHIP with Elijah and Hayley instead of love, why?
ReplyDeleteYeah but that would be the act of Elijah being able to control himself and pull off his ring not the final outcome of Finns spirt being dead as well as the Vincent body.
ReplyDeleteOkk?? I still like her. haha, like that's not going to go away.
ReplyDeleteYou tell me? look at what you posted.
ReplyDeleteYou can never run from Family,, they have this innate ability of sniffing us out. lol
ReplyDeleteMikael, hmmm, is he aware of the entire situation?
ReplyDeleteI wish Eve could have stuck around instead of being killed off.
ReplyDeleteThe prophecy was a super Hybrid witch will be born,, and will restore the balance in nature and unite all super natural creatures or they will be destroyed.
LOL
isn't that why Renesmee sucked? i mean it's enough Bella was "special" but SM also had to make her child exceptional...
ReplyDeleteWhy does everyone hate Jackson? He seems like one of the few redeeming characters if we go by morals alone.
ReplyDeleteEpisode was awesome.
Dunno....will need more info on book five....no book to date....
ReplyDeleteIMO hard to say if the child sucked given that there was no book.
huh i guess that makes sense, and yeah definitely LOL
ReplyDeleteno it was more of a hibernation spell
ReplyDeletewas it the super aging thing?
ReplyDeleteVery, very good episode. Loved how everyone came together and the way Marcel helped out Hayley and Kol and Klaus mended their relationship.
ReplyDeleteI hope the writers correct the damage they have done to the character for sure.
ReplyDeleteDude, idk, just let it go.
