    This slower pace is quite confusing me! I think it was a rather good episode, would even say great, but I missed a game changer cliffhanger!

    RIP Kol and goodbye DS. His sent off was beautiful and I'm glad that the new Bekah will stick around. Which hottie will next play Kol?
    Loved Klaus in all his deviousness,

    Elija was adorable but currently I am team Hackson cause it feels more than right.
    Great scene annd chemistry between Finn and Freya! And a interesting way to bring Finn back.

    Excellent episode and the reveal at the end is a must see (No Spoilers)! Elijah stole this episode with his every scene (especially his scenes with Klaus........their great together) and the actress playing Rebekah is phenomenal! The Cole/Devina and the Hayley/Jackson were really good tonight. 4 THE ORIGINALS, THE COPIES, AND ALL THE REPEATS, I am Nobody!!!

    I have no idea what kind of Con Klaus was playing but it was fun to watch.

    I think he's a great villain. Although, if Dahlia ends up being the Big Bad then I suspect Freya/Finn will turn "good". Of course Freya could be playing Finn and working for Dahlia.

    Klaus is like the original definition of sour grapes. Seriously, he does not want anyone to have Hayley....it is really weird....the whole marriage scene was set up as though Hayley was marrying two men....even at the end when Klaus brings Hope out...it was like they were all getting married.....sooo strange.

    I was happy to see more Hope scenes...I can't wait until her parents realize that she is showing off her magical abilities already. Good times ahead I hope!

    I really like nu-Rebekah. She is an alright actress, so far.
    Kol's scenes were sad. I am sad that they chose to get rid of him instead of Finn....I felt that there was more story with Kol in the picture....Finn can really only last until the end of season IMO.

    I am really hoping for this scenario...but then I thought that the parents would have turned good to help their children out...but they only ended up being mean spirited. So it will definitely remain to be seen.

    I don't think it's about wanting Hayley for himself or any sense of romantic jealousy. I think with Elijah it was about Klaus' insecurities. Another example of Elijah being the good/worthy brother while Klaus was the monster. Coupled with real fear that Hope might love Elijah more.

    With Jackson and the wedding I think Klaus was making a power play. Through the ceremony Jackson and Hayley became head of this huge wolf pack. I got the feeling that Klaus' actions were a show of power. Basically he's saying he's the real power behind Hayley/Jackson. Or at least that's what he was presenting to the Wolves.

    I meant the way that the whole ceremony was set up....and the way Klaus seemed to dominate as though he was the groom. It was very interesting scene/epi for this....

    Not sure what is going on with Hayley and Elijah. One thing is for sure, I think Hayley has a lot of feeling for Elijah....I just think she got tired of waiting for him to get his act together and at the end of the day her child had to come first....no one can really fault her for that.



    Further, why was Klaus weird with holding Hope in front of Cami....? I thought that was a bit much....

    Mebe...not really too sure as to what was going on....All I know is, he does not seem to be happy with Hayley really being with anyone...especially if said partner would in any way infringe upon his relationship with his daughter....I mean rightfully so...but killing the guy may not be the best response in these circumstances.

    I'm pretty sure Jackson will be killed by the end of the season. The wedge he needed to create between Elijah and Hayley is done. He thinks he can't make her happy, and she thinks he'll put everything else before his feelings for her.


    Bets on who puts him down? My money is on Dahlia... maybe Finn.

    Hayley action speaks louder than words when a person tell you they luv you.Hayley doged my man out after all Elijah done for her. Elijah helped save her peps durung da bombimg, forgiven her of Celest ressorrection, and even saving Jacksons life and couple times. That was a spit in the face to Elijah and then Klaus invites both of them to the home. Power up Elijah get that golden dagger.

    I am annoyed that Klaus showed up with a bag of heads and we didn't get to see him take even one of them. While I loved the early wedding present. Where are all the wanton killing sprees and grand speeches I was promised in Season One dammit?!!


    Liked:
    - The wedding was fairly pretty
    - Kol's death was pretty traumatic, I would have been sadder if he hadn't been so eager to make the dagger for Klaus earlier.
    - Despite my dislike for the baby storyline and all the magic baby nonsense, Hope remains one of the most friggin ADORABLE babies ever, her laugh and smile melts my cold cold heart.
    - Freya just works. Great casting there, she seems both immensely powerful and yet seriously damaged. A true Mikaelson.


    Disliked:
    - Cami spouting her psychology. Sometimes maybe just be a friend and not a student shrink jeez.
    - Forcing another divide between Elijah and Klaus. Elijah used to believe that Hope would save Klaus, now he thinks (and voices) that Jackson would be a better father? Come on.
    - That this wolves story is FAR FROM OVER.
    - Look I get that Jackson is supposed to be an honest salt of the earth good guy (so when he dies everyone is devastated) but jeez, give the guy some faults, his constant acceptance of all the ridiculousness going on around him is TOO MUCH. Make him say a bad word, or have atrocious table manners or sniff some butts or something. I can't take any more of his 'perfection'.
    - The way Davina hugged Josh in that first scene, why did she bend that one arm in? I know its a small thing but it bugged me.

    Bring Daniel Sharman back and get rid of Finn who is the most annoying character. Daniel Sharman gave Kol/Kaleb such diversity and his acting skills are so entrancing you forget that he's acting. Please Julie Plec bring him back. I've been a loyal fan but it was a horrible tease to give us this amazing character only made this amazing by Daniels talent. Just my avid opinion.

    I am so surprised that you are surprised,, that Hybrid Female is whacked in the head. I've have been saying that to you for 3 years,, ever since she stepped foot on TVD.
    I have never been into Hayley's character,, but what she did tonight to Elijah,, is beyond forgivable. He deserved soooo much better.
    I have always liked Elijah and Cami's re-pore. She is more his type,, down to earth & intelligent,, besides having a sense of humor and a pretty good head on her shoulders.

    You've might've been saying it, but you and I don't always see eye to eye when it comes to ships. Or just individual characters in general. I mean, i know you always hater her, disliked her w/e you want to call it, but i never had a "MAJOR" issue with Hayley. But i didn't like her much either. It wasn't til TO ( towards the end of the first season) that i warmed up/liked her. And i don't care for Elijah and Cami either. Friends sure. (Shrugs.) That's cool with me. Am not opposed to them being friends.

    At least we can agree that Hayley's treatment of Elijah tonight was beyond abominable,, disrespectful,,Unappreciative of all his sacrifices for her,, the ungrateful scab.
    I am so surprised Elijah stayed for the wedding after that. He really has such distinction & Class.

    Never thought I'd say this, but I'mm miss Sharman's Kol. New Rebekah's also fantastic.


    The Klaus and Elijah scene was the highlight, as their scenes usually are.


    Now time to pop a champagne over the successful hillbilly wedding! Elijah's free at last from that nag, hallelujah! I wish he wouldn't have been so down, poor bloke. He hasn't realized it yet, but he's so much better off and that chick isn't worth a single tear.

    I also like the brother scenes. Elijah hurts Klaus's feelings so Klaus lashes back,, they really do tell each other off well,, but,, Elijah usually makes and gets his point across. Klaus just rewords it into action. He really is clever sometimes.:)

    God, This show's writers wouldn't know subtlety if it stole their wallet right from their hand, but apparently subtlety isn't an option anyway. They MUST spell everything out at all times otherwise their audience won't be able to connect the dots on their own.

    Steroline had 5 Years of development. No way would i even compare them to Elijah and Cami in the least bit. Especially when they've only had like Five episodes together. Def. Not. And since i've been shipping Klamille since season 1, well the thought of Elijah/Cami in a romantic Sense will never happen for me. As far as Hayley is concerned. I didn't like her at all in this episode. And with this craptastic episode we got, From ALL angles, not just hers, I'm glad the show is on hiatus.

    I agree. I feel so sorry for Elijah and he was going to tell her that he loves her. A lot of people liked the wedding scene. It was pretty but I cant stand them together and the pain Elijah eyes was so sad it made me cry and I still want to believe they are endgame and it seem Klaus gets a little jelous when Cami hanged around Elijah

    I like them as friends. It seems Klaus was jelous that Cami was hanging around with Elijah. I wished Elijah would have grabbed Haley and told her he loved her. I felt so sorry for Elijah and this scene made me cry. And Jackson is boring and I cant stand him and if I was Elijah I would not move out

    I thought this was a good episode except for the haley and elijah scene. It made me sad. Ijah started to cry and he was going to day the three words he should have grabbed her and he stayed for the wedding and he is moving out. I can't believe this this season has been hell. I can't stand Jackson I feel he is boring and I don't like them together and who would want them together haley and elijah for me and I hope at the end they can find their way back together and I wishould klaus would have killed jackson

    Yeah I don't mind them becoming friends. I only see them as acquaintances right now. I don't see them as friends until they actually build a foundation. It's the same with Bonnie/Damon for me. I don't believe for a minute that they're "friends", no matter how much Damon says it. When she returns, then I can see if they actually have one. (A friendship) But the difference with them is, they've had a very long/extremely rocky foundation built already. Even with their mutual loathing of one another. I never like comparing the two shows, (i'm more, TVD is TVD, TO is TO) but I just wanted to give that example, that's my pov. But i'd rather keep the two shows separate. But yeah, anyways Cami is in love with Klaus right now, so she's not even thinking of Elijah in that way.

    IDT, Klaus was jealous, Klaus is just....Klaus. He's all about "Mine mine mine." And he'll always be about, "Mine mine mine" while kicking and screaming. I'm fine with Elijah moving out. I felt Klaus did that deliberately b/c he felt that if Elijah were to stay, he'd get so disturbed by the thought of Hayley/Jackson together, his mind set would change and he wouldn't be opposed to Klaus killing him.

    I get you are cheering for Haylijah, but Nathan Parson is playing an exquisite Jackson. He is an alpha but so in touch with his feelings!

    Elijah pushed Hayley so far away that it is understandable she choose the one who would always pull her back.

    It looks like Daniel Gillies is getting another break. I'm pretty sure Saving Hope doesn't film again until June. I was glad to finally see closure on the Haylijah situation. Hayley has only ever really cared about her werewolf family, and if she's found a werewolf who loves her no matter what, then more power to her. After 1,000 years of suffering while putting other people first, Elijah definitely deserves better.

    Hope is home! Klaus said he was working on a plan. It was interesting that he hesitated to hold Hope, and later on he just stared at her, when it was brought to his attention that he's afraid Jackson will make a better father than him, and Cami told him that happy parents make a baby happy. Klaus is never genuinely happy. It's starting to look like Klaus might consider giving up his parental rights in favor of his daughter's well-being. Klaus is supposed to be completely focused on Hope this season, with no love interest. He's let people go before, pushed them out of his life because they would never be safe and happy with him. If anyone kills Jackson somewhere down the line, it'll probably be Elijah, who thinks that the baby is the answer to his family's problems and he would not like the idea of her being given away to the werewolves. The Mikaelsons need a more appropriate savior than an infant.

    Kol's death isn't much of a shock. I can understand why it was so emotional, and I'm glad that Kol mentioned that he prefers dying a mortal because he had too much heightened emotion and bloodlust as a vampire. In a way, he admitted that he shares the blame for what happened on TVD because he was a murderer. Esther really takes the blame for turning her children into monsters to begin with. On the subject of Esther's family, I'd really like to know more about them. I think Freya and Finn are just filler right now until Dahlia shows up. MN said that the siblings will question whether they can trust Freya. The answer is obviously no and something will have to be done about both her and Finn before the season ends.

    mmh I would express it like that (kiss,marry, kill):
    I would KISS Hayley (Besides Elijah, Finn, Klaus, she's my fav character (I don't know how I feel about the new Rebekah...we will see))
    MARRY Elijah (the scene with Hayley was heartbreaking and 'cause he's....Elijah) and
    KILL Jackson (well new Kol is dead so...it's Jackson...his story arc is boring and I don't like the character)

    Oh and the scene in which Kol was dying and his siblings were standing by him...that was moving. Loved that scene.

    The point of Finn's curse was that Kol would die and wouldn't be able to body-hop... that's why Rebekah and Davina were trying to save him or find the spell to help him body-hop. Killing Finn would have broken the curse but Freya bringing him back restored it.

    I wonder if Freya will feel differently about saving Finn when she finds out that bringing him back kill Kol.

    hahaha,, it is b/c she gave Fin her talisman to be saved. I had a really clear pic of Fin in the house before it blew up,, HE was NOT wearing Freya's necklace at that time.
    Since they are the 2 oldest,, it makes sense they would be closer. Elijah was a baby in Esther's arms when Dahlia took Freya. There is something wrong. Why would Freya,, run and hide from Dahlia all this time,, and then fork over her niece.

    To say i'm disappointed with this episode would be a major understatement-
    1.They actually went through with that ridiculous wedding.
    2.Jackson and hayley had lustful kiss at the end and i'm also guessing made love off-screen!
    3.Hayley made Elijah cry.That B***h!
    4.Vincent was resurrected magically.Why can't the dead stay dead for more than 1 episode,writers?Why?
    5.Caleb got killed.Just when daniel was making the character more believable and likable.Great job on this one!
    6.Marcel continues to have no storyline at all for weeks now.
    7.Klaus continues to remain annoying as ever.Now thanks to him,we'll have the fortune to witness the newlywed couple's blossoming love every episode!
    Only good thing about this episode-Josh and aiden made up.But aiden will bite the dust soon,so no hope here too.
    Congrats Julie,you've successfully destroyed another show!

    Elijah,, believes Jackson to be an upstanding guy. I think there is respect there on both sides.
    Elijah is going to move by Marcel and help him out with his group,, and of course Bex will be there. Marcel,, almost fell over at the reception he was so surprised,, to see a new girl with Rebekah's walk and facial expressions. It really was funny. But to be like that when you are on a date,, is inexcusable. Showed very bad manners on Marcel's part,, even if it wasn't a romantic date,, still an ungentlemanly move. He did look very handsome in his suit though...

    I just have a different reading of his actions....not sure if right or wrong can actually apply in this instance. Klaus after all plays his cards close to his chest. Personally, I think he was annoyed by Elijah's comments and wanted to strike back. In terms his actual motivations....I think all things can and should apply ... yes Klaus wants to control the wolf pack...but he can't really do so without Hayley...and yes, Klaus also wants to be the only father that his daughter knows and acknowledges...That being said, he will probably always have an avid interest in all that Hayley does. Klaus also has a real problem with Elijah stepping into Hayley's life, as that would probably allow Elijah closer access to his daughter....it is kinda what I said...Klaus is the original definition of SOUR GRAPES!

    I think it is always better to have couples not be together on TV shows...especially shows where there is a potential for many many years to come....I find that once the main couples get together often times it signals the end of the show....

    Roswell is a perfect example of this.

    There is a word or expression for this, where couples are couples on the down low...can't for the life of me think of it at the moment...but have faith...I am sure that you will have plenty of wonderful angsty love lorn moments to come. In fact it will probably be wayyyyyy more ideal, then if they actually got together....cause then one would fret about when the show would break them up...

    Liked the episode. Entertaining and emotional.

    Elijah is a classy and honorable fellow. Glad to see him suck it up and carry himself with dignity (even though he may have been hurting like hell on the inside)

    Klaus back to his plotting and scheming was great to watch. He can't handle the fact that a large number of wolves now have Jackson as their sole Alpha. Jackson is the leader of super charged werewolves and Klaus has nothing. So, his ego/jealousy is already compelling his decision making. I liked that he was so devious that he put Elijah in a very uncomfortable position by inviting Jackson to stay in their home. Klaus was a bit miffed that Elijah told him off when he (Klaus) talked about killing Jackson so in this way he twisted the emotional knife in Elijah's gut. Oh Klaus!! You devious, sadistic fellow - don't ever change.

    The wedding was beautifully done. Not too flashy and not too understated. Loved the fact that as soon as they kissed, the wolves felt the power surge through them. Great scene.

    I like Jackson and IMO, there are no ulterior motives to him loving Hayley. He is a good guy. The werewolf part of this show deepens its mythology so I hope he sticks around for a while. Also, let's hope there are more scenes between Klaus and Jackson. Unlikely pair, I know but if the writers want to explore Klaus coming to terms with his werewolf side then a probably tentative partnership/friendship between Klaus and Jackson is a good thing.

    All the Kol/Davina scenes were quite emotional. Poor Davina robbed of another love. Both of them had quite good chemistry and I am upset that Kol had to die. Why is Finn alive? If anyone deserved to die, it was him.

    The presence of the siblings at Kol's side during his final moments was quite heartbreaking. On one hand you have Klaus, Rebekkah, Elijah and Kol together - siblings who have spent time with each other and on the other hand you have two different siblings (Finn and Freya) bonded together because of their closeness during their childhood. A bit sad to see two different camps.

    The only complaint I have is that Freya still hasn't met Klaus and Elijah. Hope she meets them soon. I want to see her as the elder sister bossing around her younger siblings. Elijah will respect her because he is classy but it will be hilarious to see Klaus squirm in irritation.

    So, Dahlia is drawn to magic. Wonder when she will make her appearance.

But I'm not OBSESSED OBSESSED. Like I DO watch my shows for a lot of other reasons, OTHER then romance, and i sure as hell have to talk about other stuff other then romance. Some fans on here. (One definitely comes to mind, but iI won't say who) Well that's just not the case. Smh...whether we ship the same couple or not, well just know, I can take a joke. I'm a little more lenient.     Hmmmm ok, still a fan of many shows...just don't necessarily get caught up in the ship dramas of any one particular show....

    I would definitely agree with you that I prefer to binge watch versus the week to week stuff. I watch over a hundred shows throughout the year, and the only way that I can do that is through binge watching...and a strong and liberal use of fast forward. LOL.....I never miss the Originals or the Fosters, at the moment. I am definitely OBSESSED with the Fosters, not for the romance of the show....as I am too old for it, but because it is soooooooooooo interesting and well written...seriously.

    OMG Outlander is in my opinion one of the best shows on TV. Seriously! I read the books in high school, watched the first epi and had to re-read them, all in one shot, it is great. Give it a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

    I am on re-watch of Star Trek Enterprise ....wish there was a place on the board to talk about older shows. As well as getting caught up on Justified (seriously violent show - but not scary like the Walking Dead!)

    Welllllllll I love new shows. Esp ones that get high ratings by fans and critics...aka Empire. Its definitely about the story for me....don't get me wrong, I can be a fanatic ... aka dislike of Cami character on the Originals...but generally too busy to really care....

    If you get a chance, check out Outlander...you will like it. Its a bit slow, but seriously it is for the romance addicts. It helps that all the characters are HOT! minus Captain Jack.

    Well i'm not a romance addict. So it's probably not for me. I don't watch shows for it's romance or b/c a cast is "hot". That's a bit too shallow for me. (not calling you shallow, i know you're just trying to sell the show) I need interesting characters/good performances, to keep me attached. Not the looks of them. But if there's romance in one of my shows i'll accept it. I like action/drama/horror/suspense/sci fi. I look at shows for its' overall story. "Dark" shows have always been my favorite.

    Tempted to take that bet - she certainly seemed fearful of the aunt coming for Hope... then again you never know how much of future storylines actors are told so it doesn't affect their performance, or if they know, whether they're really good actors.

    The show is excellent. It is labelled as sci-fi/drama, it has lots of action, and suspense. The story is excellent. But there is an over arching romance. I watch cause I loved the books, and keep watching as the acting is superb, the set/show is divine, and it has very high ratings from fans and tv critics. Yes, I am shallow (no seriously - lol), the actors on the show are all easy on the eye, except captain Jack (who is evil incarnate).



    Its a good show. But if you can't fit it into your schedule, I get it. :) However, come April I will be OBSESSED!

    I can agree. I am a Elijah and Haley fan and I have been since day one and I will continue. But I am a huge Elijah fan and I fels so sorry for him and when he had that tear. Elijah has done everything for her and this Jackson I cant stand. I know some people like him but I find him boring. I did not like Haley in this episode. And now Haley goes to Elijah for help with Klaus (now you want his help. I read that Daniel Gillies character Joel gets killed off he wont be in season 4
