  1. It was another great episode. I knew Justified was going to give us the greatest final season of any show ever. It's like they are just going full throttle with no chance of slowing down. These actors, this show. I just don't know what I'm going to do without Raylan's badass on my TV.

  2. I am loving this season so far. Both Markham and Katherine Hale were great this episode. Love the "cellphone" moment.

  3. Re-watch the entire series again. (and again)

  4. I already do! I just go to Amazon and watch a favorite episode at random to get my Tim/Raylan/Boyd fix.
I'm really going to miss these guys.

  5. Walker and Seabass really did a number on that old couple last week! "The Wizard"
was a cool guest and his demise unexpected and funny in typical
Justified fashion! The look on Wynn and Boyd's faces were priceless.
Dickie was hilarious as usual. It was funny how Loretta got the Bennett
land from him. Loretta held her own with Walker. And that tease of a
showdown with Raylan and Walker, which was awesome, added to the
tension before Avery arrived. Great scene with Raylan and Avery. Avery's knowledge of Harlan
gives him a bit of an advantage over past villains who were outsiders
invading Kentucky. The fact he knew about Mags' Apple Pie makes me
appreciate the amazing world building. I love how Raylan "attempts" to
treat Loretta as a surrogate daughter. Katherine and Ava spending the
day together gave more insight into her character. There was a great
undertone of tension in those scenes. Katherine is highly suspicious of
Ava. She brought up the crazy guard Albert from last season. I believe
in the last episode her and Wynn were looking into her early release.
Joelle is doing a wonderful job I swear she was about to breakdown at the end.

Constable Bob and Limehouse back next week!!!
Episode 5 is going to be insane from the looks of it. Kicking off the
2nd Act of this amazing Final Season in high fashion.

  6. Great episode. Tim's Sigourney Weaver line was hilarious, as were the reactions of Duffy and Boyd to The Wiz getting blown up. And aside from that, the entire episode was tension filled, whether it be Katherine Hale-Ava or Raylan-Avery. Wonderful work by Carter in the final scene, too.

  7. I really love how everything is connected to Harlan County itself and the land and its people and the many families that live there. It makes Boyd's declaration at the end that he wants to go home and make a load of money with the legal weed business quite touching in a way. Boyd Crowder is Harlan through and through and if he can stay and still get his happy ending with Ava he will do it.

Trouble is of course Ava is stuck in a horrible situation, this does give Joelle Carter he best season yet though, such great material to work with, her scenes with Katherine were both tense and fun, her scenes with Boyd, tense and loving.

Seeing Dickie and Loretta again was really great. And what is it with Avery and dining room scenes? Works so well though.

  8. I'm watching right now and the dude just exploded. I'm laughing so hard my stomach is hurting and I'm in tears. Like it just happened out of nowhere. Then Boyd and Duffy's blank stare in disbelief: fantastic!

p.s.: Mags's apple pie is my favourite dessert!

  9. This was another terrific episode. Next week looks even better, with Ellstin Limehouse and Constable Bob coming back

  10. Epic episode. What an episode. Even the conversations on this show carry so much weight, menace and sense of foreboding.

What a way to bring back Loretta! What a scene with that apple pie!!! And what an amazing scene between Raylan and Markham with Tim throwing in his jibes!!!! I sincerely hope nothing happens to Loretta. Although, I do feel like after all is done and dusted she will rise to be the the new drug Queen of Harlan ( in the future).

Most hilarious scene: the guys blows up and Boyd and Duffy get covered in his blood. Their faces made me howl with laughter

Katherine and Ava - amazing scenes. Katherine is a very, very formidable woman. I hope the show had introduced her as a regular a long time ago. Anyways, it's great to see her character in the final season.

Boyd and Ava - what to say? Did Ava escape by the skin of her teeth by not telling Boyd? By not listening to Ava, did Boyd just sign his death sentence by proclaiming his idea of not leaving Harlan at all? ( i.e does his actions solidify Ava's mind to snitch on him and bring him down?)

  11. I loved the discussion between Loretta and Raylan after talking to Dickey Bennett Too Funny!

  12. If Raylan doesn't end up with his wife and daughter at the end of this series and if he dies, I will never watch a rerun, ever. This show has been way too good to end like that. Can't wait to see what happens to Boyd.

  13. Loretta and Dickie Bennett back in the same episode? Ka-ching! So, was that 2 time's Loretta has turned down the offer to buy her house from Markham, the guy who was too smart for her Apple Pie? (Come to think of it, has Raylan turned down the offer to buy Arlo's place twice?)
