Wes has always been suspicious of that but then he forgot abiut everything. I found that it hasnt change. I found it interesting to see who of those 5 is gonna break first cause the more grown ups looks like they have everything planned out except this 5 thata re always fighting and dont trust each other. I guess that's what Sam's sister is gonna see and will found iut at least smething of what happened.
The body! they found the body! DAMN those final minutes were amazing. I find interesting how Annalise cares about Sam, she "loved" him, she has proved that much over this episodes but there was something missing and that's what she is looking for when she goes with Nate. Sam's sister is gonna look over the five attitudes and gonna find just by their behaviour that something is going on. I really like how we see a little bit of everyone, tho the only one missing was Bonnie (mmm suspicious) and how their lives have taking a turn. Mkaela all crazy worried about his boyfriend, Wes and his nightmares (why is Rebcca like nothing ever happened tho), Laurel and being done with everyone and Connor trying to live a "normal" life. This episode was great!
I think I'm liking the second half of the season more than the first. The first was enticing but it was a matter of waiting to see the blanks fill in. But this is like watching some great mind game.
Marcia Gay Harden's character is brilliant so far. Sly yet coy with the wit of someone who knows she's playing a mind game against a talented opponent. Meanwhile Annalise's Jekyl/Hyde nature seems to be getting more pronounced, Wes seems to be in utter denial about his guilt, Rebecca seems more borderline sociopath than ever, Laurel seems to be relishing becoming the bad girl, Connor has created a complete illusion about his life and is just enough of a con artist to possibly pull it off... poor Oliver, Michaela is cracking and only a matter of time until she's broken, Asher remains a characature, and Frank seems to be the only player in the game who is playing with a full deck (and I'm aware I'm mixing metaphors).
And the icing on the cake... Throw a body in the mix
They should've listened to Wes. If there's one thing true crime shows have illustrated, you go to all the trouble of murder, you get as thorough with the cover up as you possibly can. Throwing a body in the garbage generally doesn't end well for a killer. I'm not surprised by the PTSD, either-I like that Laurel's trying to do everything to keep the group connected, and opening up to each other. Interesting that Connor seems so resistant to the idea, though-seeing him with his family was an interesting scene. Poor guy is taking this seriously hard. And Michaela. Yeah. She's going to need to figure out something with her fake ring, and fast. 'Cause I don't think it'll be too much longer before her original one is found. As for Wes and Rebecca, that relationship seems to be getting creepier and weirder with each passing day. They're not heading down a good path. At all.
The writing and acting of "How to get away with Murder" is brilliant.............simply brilliant. Excellent episode that can be analyzed from the first 5 minutes, to the last 5 minutes, each of the Keating 5 storylines, and Marcia Gay Harden and Viola Davis................I was worried my TV might explode! 4 A MURDER FREE TRIAL, I am Nobody!!!
And probably Annalise was the one that told Wes what to do with the remains of the body and Wes didnt push enough this time. This will be a surprise for Annalise as well, she probably thinks they did everything according to what Wes told them
Oooh. I like that idea. That could cause a really interesting rift along the way. Heck, with the way Wes doesn't always quite do what Annalise suggests, I see a bit of a power struggle in general setting up between them down the line. If that's the case, he's a brave man going up against someone like Annalise, but if he's going to make it through this without getting caught, he has to resist any intimidation tactics, be they by Annalise or someone else entirely.
Rebecca's character has been creepy from the start. But sometimes I can't tell if she's supposed to be creepy, if it's just bad acting, or both. She also talks in this quick abrupt manner that makes it hard to hear what she's saying. Did they ever explain what she was trying to do on Sam's laptop? I missed a few parts of the episode.
Damn, the ending! I enjoyed this slower paced episode, it was nice to see them all cope with what happened in very different ways. And I liked Laurel attempting to get them closer because she only felt good with that weird group. Asher was fun as usual!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh shit at the end. You think that they would have tried to find a better hiding place or something. Really, you guys? Really?
ReplyDeleteAnd a lot of the things Annalise said about abuse reminded me of Ward and AoS so pay attention, fandom.
Not surprised everyone's experiencing a little PTSD after what happened.
I really can't see how this show is gonna have the appeal it had in October. I don't think it's going to be that great.
ReplyDeleteNow Wes thinks Rebecca killed the prior apt tenant? So she is a killer? And it's looking like Annaliese and Wes are more than teacher student.
Wes has always been suspicious of that but then he forgot abiut everything.

Wes said to dump the remains somewhere else, but Connor and the others has had enough and decided to throw it in the garbage.

I love your summary of the characters.

agree with you about Wes and Rebecca, and I am begining thinking Rebecca is the real killer, not Sam
