  1. Really enjoyed this episode. The look of the Circus was really wonderful. Cameron Monaghan was exceptional!

Jim and Leslie have so much chemistry, their date as shortlived as it was, was really nice to see. I'm loving all of their scenes together.

Oswald loving his mama's performance at the club was great even though everyone else hated it. "The circus is my family".

Cameron Monaghan was really awesome as always, great casting.

Pretty powerful and moving speech from Fish Mooney in this episode, "We have one simple choice. We did here alone on our knees... or we stand up and we fight with out family".

Loved when Leslie said this "you say you want a strong woman but when push comes to shove you want me to stay home and bake cookies", lol and then Jim replies "Pies" :)

Wow, Cameron what a performance, the way he twisted his face and everything! He just snapped and that laugh! I'm really impressed, "my mother was a whore", the way he changed.

Bruce did a great job at Wayne Interprises "my youth is not relevant".

  2. Holy shit, the Joker was absolutely terrifying. And Barbara, you don't get to be mad about Jim with someone else when you slept with your ex-girlfriend.

  3. Awesome!!! Cameron Monaghan's turn to insanity and his joker speech was freaking intense - he sounded like Heath Ledger right down to the laugh.

  4. Wow the Joker was terrifying like Barbara bonding with Ivy and Seline but she doesn't have right to be mad at Jim dating

  5. This Jerome kid may or may not be the Joker, but he was very convincing.
I like the like Romeo and Juliette story that's surrounding the story of Dick Grayson.
Bruce was a str8 badass during the board meeting. He dropped the mic in front of them fools.

  6. Great episode. I loved the way the Jokers voice changed and his maniacal laugh. So creepy and so awesome. I don't really care for Babs and thought it was weird that she didn't care there were strangers in her apartment.

  7. Step aside Dandy Mott ... Jerome is the new King of cRaZy town.

  8. Jim and Leslie have way more chemistry than Jim and Barbara.

Loved the guy who played the "joker."

  9. I laughed at that part at the apartment to. Drunk or not I can't see coming home to see two strange young girls just hanging out on your couch eating your food and be all hey that's cool. Let me just join you and eat some coco pebbles strange teen/preteen girls who I have never seen in my life who are now apparently living in my home. Oh Barbara.

  10. Is Jerome definitely the Joker? I'll be pissed if he isn't, I thought he was great, really creepy.
I was considering dropping the show. The Bruce and villain stories are the only parts I enjoy. I tune out when Gordan is on. But that mini Bruce/boardroom showdown was great. I gotta stick around to see where that goes.
I hope Jerome will be back soon. I'd love for him to run into Bruce. Maybe in Arkham since he's investigating it?

Dick Grayson was almost named after Gordan lol!

  11. Where to begin:
    1) Fish Mooney motivating the troops and laying down "terms" as new "shoot caller".........bad - @$$!
    2) I'm all for ship "Jim Lee". Their on screen chemistry is "red hot" and tonight they were all over it!
    3) The first scene with Barbara, Kat, and Ivy was odd, but the second scene was cool if not a bit ironic.
    4) Penguin scenes are always winners, but having Victor Zsasz and the return of Butch was a bonus!
    5) Jerome/Joker was simply BRIALLANT! It would be a crime if this actor is not the "Joker"!
Awesome episode from a awesome series that I really enjoy every week..............now if only the "Frank Miller Freaks" and the "Chris Nolan Haters" could watch..........and enjoy (Some spoilers, but a must see episode). 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I am Nobody!!!

  12. great ep, with the second great performance in consecutive nights from Cameron Monaghan (Shameless) as Jerome (possible Joker), and am really liking Morena B's Dr Lee, as she provides a nice counterpoint to Jim's uptight character. Even though I believe that Gordon eventually ends up with Barbara (as Batgirl was named after her I think), her character hasn't added much to the show so far and really didn't miss her when she left. I thought that the Bruce scene in front of the board at Wayne Enterprises was great and look forward to little Bruce shaking things up, I wonder if they will introduce the Lucius Fox character in that storyline...

  13. The Joker was freaking awesome, there's no way they can cast someone better than him, he's freaking amazing: that laugh, chills right up my spine. Bruce ruled the hell out of that Boardroom scene, they have no idea who they're up against. Dick's parents are so awesome, can't believe Dick was almost named after Gordon LOL

  14. Such a boring and useless episode. Really didn't felt it.
It felt forced, out of order and scrambled together.
Will most likely drop the show after this one, I watch the last couple of eps during summer.

  15. I'm a little confused. How was Gordon able to figure out that old guy was Jerome's father? And how did he know that Jerome killed his mother?

  16. I really wanted to enjoy this episode, but sadly that did not happen. I thought this was the worst Gotham episode so far. I sure hope next week improves a ton, or I will have to say goodbye to this series.

Decent episode. Good stuff overall but perhaps a little uneven.

    * We're supposed to root for Barbara because she WILL one day be Batgirl's mother. She's a polarizing character however and I don't buy for a moment that she would have acted the way she did when finding two squatters in her apartment. And the "what do you think girls" fashion show was just weird. I know she's had emotional issues and we're supposed to empathize with her that she's struggling, but this just makes her come across as a little nuts. Bruno Heller are we supposed to think Barbara is nuts? If so fine: take us down the rabbit hole but otherwise give us a good reason to care for her.

    * speaking of nuts: Leslie continues to come across a little wonky herself. Or is it just me? Curious to see how and when they'll introduce her to Bruce Wayne.

    * People need to stop calling Jerome the "Joker" right now. Because he's not "The Joker" The "Killing Joke" showed us that the "Joker" was a washed up, has been, unnamed comedian that fell in with the mob to help with a job. He posed as the the Red Hood and things went wrong during the job at ACE Chemical when Batman and the cops stopped the theft. The comedian fell into the pool of chemicals which permanently dyed his hair green and burned his skin chalk white. The madness turned him into the Joker. The hook will probably be that throughout the series we'll be introduced to characters that COULD BE the Joker. It will be a running joke..ha ha.

    * Bruce seems to be coming along nicely but he should be angrier at petty crime which is what Batman attacks first and foremost.

  18. I felt pretty convinced by the performance.. the actor nailed it..... billiant brilliant.... loved how you could recognize that he was the joker with no make-up....you could see it all.. he used Heath Ledger's in that character... beautifully done...

  19. I didn't get that impression with Heath Ledger's joker....I feel that they are using that character's as the basis for this version..... I don't know why you are so upset about his being the joker...the actor was brilliant......he nailed it.....

  20. Cameron Monaghan's performance was brlliant, but I wish they hadn't spoiled the fact that he's (maybe?) the Joker before the episode. That moment where he flipped the switch from weeping innocent kid to deranged laughing maniac would've been so much more effective if I hadn't been waiting for it to happen.

  21. Episode was great. Really loved Joker's performance (if he's really joker, though). Actor was just perfect. In one scene he went from being innocent kid to complete witty psycho.

And am I the only one who founds all plot of Fish like super stupid? The way she managed to get to the top and be able to meet manager is just plain stupid.

Also I didn't liked what they had to use cliche method for Barbara... Really, she definitely had to meet Gordon when he's kissing another women?!

  22. It was a good episode. The Joker was Brilliant!

  23. Wow Cameron Monaghan!! I knew he was good from Shameless but he got even better now in that interrogation room.

The circus scenes somehow did have the tone of Heroes season 4.

  24. I only liked James and Lee's parts, and i'm glad Barbara saw them.

  25. I didn't like it either. And same.
