Omg that was soooo cute!!! Awwww that was the most fun I had watching Glee in a longggg time. That was beautiful. Everybody was there, even Sugar. LOL!! That was funny and unexpected. And Blaine's mom is a hottie. She has cougar written all over her. I found it hilarious how all the parents were dancing, and the kids were all getting really embarrassed. Hahahaha. The Facepalm of shame. LOL that was cute.
Burt and Carole, could they have been any cuter??? I just wanted to hug them both! Having Blaine and Kurt stare at them admiring them was really adorable. They've been through so much, I'm glad they're together, healthy and happy. And I thought about Finn the entire episode. R.I.P Finn/Cory.
I loved the musical numbers. Artie and Mercedes duet to At Last was very nice. AND SEEING MIKE CHANG WAS AWESOME!! God he looks good, my Asian crush. Haha. He was really sweet with Tina. Man I miss him. Wish he could stay longer. And I'm very happy Santana's grandma came. Surprisingly thanks to Sue! And Sue's gifts to them was amazing! Wow.
What is wrong with Ken Jeong??? Lol that speech! Get that man off the stage. LOL he's terrible. Hahahaha
My favorite part. The vows and all The guests got OTP hats. Lol and they're both my OTPs (well actually it's Klaine, they're my otp. Brittana would be below them).
I just can't get on board with anything Sam/Rachel related. It might be because my favorite character is Mercedes and I just dislike the way this show treats her character sometimes. I was absolutely fine with her and Sam not being together because frankly he just got dumb after season 3, but there is no way she should be so gung-ho over her ex being with one of her good friends. This is the guy she loved and that Rachel told her they were meant for each other and that she saw Sam as a replacement for Finn which is why they didn't happen the first time. I guess I don't understand how the writers took Mercedes and Rachel's season 5 conversation about love and switched the girls out. All of the glee girls, but Tina has dated Sam, I just don't understand why they felt the need to make Rachel date him as well. He's not that great of a catch. I'm all for Mercedes AND Rachel being alone, they're only 20-21.
It was.... ridiculous. Ok, maybe not everything. But honestly, some points really annoyed me.
1 - Pam. Why? Seriously, why? I mean, they talked about her at the moment they announced her casting. It was known she was coming. And she came... for nothing. Not even a scene with Klaine. i'm sorry, but i say no.
2 - Sugar. Quinn. It was cool to see Sugar. But, they could at least give a little explanation, no? I mean, something which could tell us where the character disappeared. And, that's cool to see Puck. But, he could gives one word about Quinn's absence. That's her best friends' wedding, and she is not here. So, yeah, one little explanation please (I'm not talking about the actress' absence, just the character ^^)
3 - Tina. Mercedes. Poor girls. They hate Tina. It is obvious. She has nothing, she does nothing, she is useless. Even Mike rejected her. In S2 & S3, she had Mike. After that, she was transparent. I would like a little happy ending for her. About Mercedes, well... If she accepts to see Sam with Rachel, that's cool. But she has a huge potential and she just sings. Come on. Give her something to do (except if it involves Rachel and her failure)
4 - Klaine's wedding. That's not the wedding itself my problem. It is the fact they did it with Brittana. Come on! I had the impression it was Klaine's wedding at the end, and the girls were just a background element. It was supposed to be THEIR moment, the moment of Brittana. But no. They had to put Klaine too. Another proof, Kurt talked the first during the ceremony. I was like: "Shut up! You're an extra guest! Let the girls talk!"
So yeah, thanks to these points, I did not really appreciate the episode. Even if some aspects were cool like Burt&Carole, Britt's parents, Alma, Sue... even Sam & Rachel were cool this week.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Still awesome although Klaine had to skrew Brittanas wedding.

You know. I couldnt stop thinking of Finn and him not being there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful episode.

ReplyDeleteMike's treatment toward Tina was really great.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the likes of Sugar and some of the old extras again. Really weird not having Quinn and Emma there...
Klaine wedding was as hamfisted as it possibly could've been.
Ken Jeong and Jennifer Coolidge are surprisingly good in their roles, and they both look like they're having fun.
