I loved the doubts casted at Rick. I loved how he was double played. I loved how Kate supported him. I loved how the twist brought the lawyer into view.
I really liked this ep and surprisingly find myself enjoying the PI storyline, it seems to provide more opportunity for Caskett-time. Terrence Paul Wimter wrote another stellar episode, this time with the very talented Amanda Johns as his writing partner; nicely done to both of them!
I'm actually not minding the Castle PI separation from the team. Castle gets to do some fun, quirky cases while still helping out the police and his friends while doing his own cases (which coincide with theirs). And vice versa they get to help him out on the side. I thought I would hate the PI story to be honest but it's not playing out bad although it will be nice to see him back on the squad by the end of the season or earlier. I hope so anyway.
Great episode. I bet those who thought Castle as a PI would be boring are now eating their words. As per usual, the same 5-10 trolls have voted awful. Why even bother to vote on something you obviously don't watch...
Really enjoyed this. Besides last week's ep, I think the writers are doing the whole PI story quite well. Of course I can't see this lasting through to the end of the season but I actually want it to. I don't know why but there is so much potential in this storyline, would be interesting to see if it gets fulfilled.
My guess is that he'll be back in the 12th after the two parter.
Loved seeing glimpses of Dark!Castle in this ep. Makes me even more excited about the 2 parter. Heh.
As usual a really awesome episode, the twists and turns at every corner amazing, I have two standout moments, of course Beckett not doubting Castle for a moment, and Espo finally coming back around to being Ricks friend I loved they're unconditional support of team Caskett, the team is back united and soon Castle will be back at the 12th, then I'll miss him being a PI:)
decent episode, but the PI thing is still bullshit. what's supposed to be good about it? As if the show hadn't done a good job coming up with a big variety of cases before. and Castle is a pretty big jerk since he got his license. not a good storyline at all.
Certainly one of the more intriguing cases in a while. Had my head spinning trying to figure out who exactly is actually dead & who did the killing. Plus I am a real sucker for Caskett moments & this P.I arc has certainly added a lot of spice in the romance division making it a ‘kid in the candy shop’ situation: that’s 2 makeouts in the P.I office…I’m loving that place already! It was a bit odd indeed that Rick didn’t bring up the similarly themed birthday surprise Kate gave him 2yrs ago.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. The show is awesome. There are other shows to watch out there if people don't like Castle.
ReplyDeleteI knew she has secrets in her closet lol
