That was such a great and hilarious episode. I loved that we got to see more of Slippin' Jimmy (more of that please) in the flashbacks and it was really cool that he name dropped "Saul Goodman" for the first time. "S'all good, man!" XD
The Kettleman's were really ridiculous when they stated that Craig earned the money rather than stole. Are you kidding me? I just rolled my eyes at that. Also, Jimmy's scenes with Kim continue to be really nice. I can't wait to find out their history. Hopefully they'll show us by flashbacks.
Jimmy going back to his Slippin' Jimmy persona once again in the present in order to attract more clients was so clever but I just knew that Chuck wasn't going to be happy about it when he found out. Come on, Jimmy! You promised your brother that you weren't going to go back to your scheming ways. Oh boy when he confronts Jimmy about this Chuck is going to blow up and all hell will break loose.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Probably the funniest episode yet. Loved all the scams he pulled off.

Damn I am enjoying the hell out of this show. Absolutely delighted by how good its been.
ReplyDeleteI do find myself rooting for Jimmy in many ways even when he is being a con man.
And Chuck at the end broke my heart.
Fantastic episode. Another gem. Loving this show more and more with each passing episode.
ReplyDeleteI dunno what it is... I'm really liking the show... I am... I'm just not in love with it...
ReplyDeleteGood episode none the less!
So, did anyone figured out how much money the family gave to Saul?... was it 100K?...☺...
ReplyDeleteSo many great bits and even a cother callback to Breaking Bad!
ReplyDeleteWhen Jimmy/Saul was at the tailor's and he was drawn to the ugly gold shirt and and striped tie he was wearing when we met him on Breaking Bad! XD
Maybe not the first episode we met him but fairly early on I think?
- I loved hearing the Saul Goodman ('s'all good, man) origin story!
- Chuck is such a fun character, but also just tragic!
:You're the kind of lawyer guilty people hire"
Indeed! XD
