  1. I actually liked it better than the premiere. It seems to be setting up a great story line with Saul and that guy working with Tuco.

  2. Good second episode. The scenes with Tuco were a non-stop ride of dramatic intensity.

  3. That was a fantastic follow up to the pilot!

Holy hell, that scene with Jimmy and Tuco in the beautiful Albuquerque desert was insanely tense as hell. Already one of my favorite scenes of 2015 and such a memorable moment from the show for me. Even though we know that Jimmy survives that confrontation, I was still on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. Just like I always was with Breaking Bad. Once again, a stellar performance by Bob Odenkirk!

Tuco being all sweet with his abuela one moment and then being all bloodthirsty with the skater twins and Jimmy was great. It was nice to see a different side of him for a change. Also, the montage of seeing Jimmy getting his mojo back and winning all the cases, getting more confident with himself was a highlight of the episode. "It's showtime, folks!" and he finally got enough stickers for Mike! XD I'm so looking forward to seeing this relationship evolve in the future.

After that scene with Chuck and Jimmy, I have a feeling that Chuck has a mental illness, not something that is physical. I wonder what caused him to be this way. Jimmy clearly cares for his brother and wants to help him get better but he doesn't know how he can and it's all just sad to watch.

I have a feeling that Jimmy will definitely want to team up with Nacho and be his partner in crime to take down the Kettlemen's sooner than later. This is only the beginning of the evolution into Saul Goodman! Can't wait for next week!

  4. Chuck could have suffered a breakdown after some trauma, perhaps similar to Adrian Monk(just an early theory)

  5. Yeah I personally think Chuck has something like paranoid schizophrenia.

  6. So a friend told me Netflix will release a few episodes midway through the season... Is this true?? Or do I need to ask my friend for her Comcast password again? :)

  7. Another great episodes, bringing the blend of dark comedy and drama that its parent show always did so well.

I love how long the scenes go on for to ensure maximum awkwardness like Jimmy in Tuco's house with the grandma interrupting all the time.

Or the glorious desert scene where Jimmy negotiates the punishment of the twins.

And the wonderful court montage. Of course this episode was directed by the wonderful Michelle MacLaren so naturally it was gorgeously filmed.

Great seeing Vic the Dick in a whole new environment, though unlike in Orphan Black he seems a lot more savvy.

  8. I know Netflix UK is putting up new episodes every week after they air in the US but I don't know if they will do the same elsewhere.

  9. Yeah I think Chuck is mentally ill as well. Naturally since Better Call Saul premiered yesterday there has been a few reviews that mention Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity and apparently it isn't recognised as a real disease and many seem to think its linked to psychiatric problems instead. Its a bit of a disputed thing, its really sad though as clearly Chuck is suffering and Jimmy wants to help.

  10. Very sold follow up to the Pilot. I loved it. Eager to see where the stroy of the 1.5 million dollars goes. I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen to that couple (Betsy and Craig)
