Heist was intense! Once you got tuned in to the camera view state it got fun and scary at the same time. Shit Dead people tho even the hot ones haunt you! I was glad to see Siobhan again, but I won't like it if this will cause a rift between Job and Hood.
Carrie and Gordon's parenting finally got in sync after all this time. I really liked Carrie beating the shit out of the three dude. If I was Deva I would be like wtf my mom is crazy cool, fuck this dude I wanna be like her now and my real dad now fusion style! Gordon did well too, I guess he was physically strong and skill in shooting(last ep) but was emotionally weak all this time.
Chayton... how can you kill that hot chick! more then that someone who patched you up. That is the definition of a kill-able target for me or a monster as others would say.
I love this site and I've disabled adBlock but the ads have gotten out of control. Auto-playing video ads and so many static ones. Honestly I rarely visit anymore. I just come when I get an email about a show I follow.
I wish I didn't have to say this, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. The self-starting ads are just ridiculously annoying at this point, and like you, it has shortened the frequency that I visit this site, and I love this site! It's also bad that I often find the ads play better/easier than I can get the videos for promos and sneak peeks.
That heist was really awesome! At first I didn't think I would like the film style of seeing it from Hood, Job, and Carrie's point of view, but it did make it fell like we were part of the action. Poor Hood though, being haunted by Siobhan (although as far as people to be haunted by, there's worse people) and having it unhinged and driving a rift between Hood and Job. Hopefully that changes.
I did think, who the fuck, even as stupid punk kids, would attack adults like that? Carrie and Gordon kicked the s*** out of them was freaking awesome to watch though! This show never disappoints on fights.

What do I think of this episode? It was AMAZING! The heist was absolutely creative and innovative. Hell, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! As for gordon and carrie and their brawl with the punk kids? Fantastic. The fights in this show never ever disappoint me and while there is the whole "realistic vs unrealistic" argument in terms of those fights, I have something to say about that: who the hell cares if they are realistic or not? The fights are raw, thrilling, and they get my blood pumping every time I watch them. Anyway, I am stoked for the next episode. The promo has me all excited haha.
Yep, that whole scene was incredibly well shot, filmed and produced. I really hooked you in after the first minute or so whilst you adjusted to the technique.
The heist was great, so simple yet an amazing effect, love how the show experiments like this :)
It's about time Carrie and Gordon came together as parents for Deva, can't really blame her for her choices at the moment due to the neglect over the past few months from all three of them imo!
I don't think Job realises quite how much Siobhan was changing Hood, and therefore just sees this as another Carrie break up situation. But it's more than that, the guy has gone through a hell of a lot in the last six months after all, lol. Job was right to say that they weren't ready to do the heist though, in hindsight.
Like you I'm ok with the unrealistic nature of the fighting, it's not too over the top anyway imo. As long as they don't break their own rules on physics in them, and make them look great, then they can do whatever they want in the show from my point of view. It's a story at the end of the day, so who the hell cares if in Banshee world things react slightly differently to ours :)
Saying that, I actually thought that Carrie and Gordon's fights in this episode were pretty rational on the whole. The three punks were obviously no where near Carrie's level of fitness/ability/speed (though I would like to know when she finds time to train to keep it up :p) and Charlie was a scrapper while Gordon used proper fighting manoeuvres on him. Plus all the kids were stoned out of their heads, which didn't help them, lol.
I take it you got "In the Zone" pretty quickly during the heist? I played Time Crisis 4 on Thursday at an arcade and it made me think of the episode - all the peaking round corners, gun in hand :DD lols The camera effect certainly got the blood pumping didn't it!
Awesome episode :) Great use of the camera effect during the heist, made it feel like you were really there in the show itself and part of the robbery too. I loved how they really utilised it to it's fullest effect too - using mirrored surfaces to see the actors faces, directing actors in certain ways to catch a specific shot, etc. It was obviously very carefully planned out.
The tension also build in a very satisfying way, and the fight sequences became adrenaline rushes. You could at least see what was going on in the one between Job and Murphy, but even that was fraught. When Stowe managed to get in the get away vehicle I was about ready to fall off the edge of my seat. I swear that Sugar's line was as much to the audience as is was to his team mates at the end of it all as I think I forgot to breath when watching that for the first time!
Also loved the opening to the episode, Hood asleep and feeling safe and warm wrapped up with his arms around Siobhan. Only for the nightmare to return when he awakes and that moment is ripped away from him and reality hits like a lead balloon. Know that feeling all too well. I thought that they captured that feeling and raw emotion perfectly in a visual and powerful way.
Awesome episode. The heist scene was heart pounding. Entire sequence was a genius way to shoot.
Carrie and Gordon, kicking ass - second favorite scene of the episode.
Rebecca going behind Proctor's back - looks like setting up some huge chain of events. Who is the guy who will be Proctor's new ally in the coming episodes? The main Salvadoran guy or one of his sidekicks who was wearing a dark checked shirt?
Proctor - seems to be happy now but we all know happiness on this show doesn't last.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the woman who helped Chayton was played by the beautiful Susan Misner, right?
The camera's Jobs was putting were Go Pro which seems to be a trend for filming now lol but what were the things they were wearing that had a camera/night vision and headlight. Can you record the images as well lol
True to all of that. The heist sorta reminded me of Swat 4, which had that whole first person point of view thing going on but the characters in there are members of SWAT. Overall, the heist was BRILLIANT. In fact, this entire season has been brilliant!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
