  18. :( Reign is not going to have it easy tonight against Blacklist and Scandal. I'm really hoping that Reign and The Blacklist don't share the same audience.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I imagine you are going to be streaming/DVRing most of those shows correct?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Can you recommend Allegiance? Worth a try or not?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'll be watching the Blacklist repeat (because I still haven't seen the Super Bowl episode), and then the Blacklist's new episode at 9pm, and then Allegiance.

ABC is going to be on the DVR for the rest of the season.

  22. Don't worry.

The Blacklist's audience is primarily older men that don't watch Reign.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Grey's Anatomy, HTGAWM and The Big Bang Theory. Will also try Allegiance.

    ReplyDelete
  24. TBBT and Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I recommend giving it a try. I saw it over the summer and I've been waiting over 8 months to see what happens. I can't say anything except it's a pretty fun episode.

I've already seen tonight's episode of TBBT and have already seen the pilot of Allegiance, which was surprisingly good.

  37. TVD, Reign, and will have a Charmed marathon(:

    ReplyDelete
  38. I've decided to watch TVD for the rest of the season to see if the writers can clean things up now that there won't be contractual issues with characters that no longer have any use on the show. I'm pretty sure that a certain problematic relationship will end before long too.

  49. Hah its technically, Cucumber, Banana and Tofu which are 3 separate series linked together. Russell T Davies is the creator and they are currently airing on Channel 4 in the UK.

Cucumber is a 1 hr comedy drama mostly focused on a group of middle aged gay men in Manchester, Banana is a 20min comedy/drama which focuses on young LGBT characters. They are set in the same universe and some of the characters go between the shows and the storylines interweave. Tofu is an online only 15 min documentary which is about real life LGBT people talking about their experiences and sex, often the actors of Cucumber and Banana are on it.

Its very funny, often incredibly rude, heartbreaking and a whole lot of fun. A welcome successor to Russell's Queer As Folk which aired back in the 90s.

  50. Scandal (!!!!) HTGAWM (!!!!) And allegiance

  51. Thanks, I hadn't heard of these. I was a huge fan of the US version of Queer as Folk. I never caught the UK version.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I really liked it. The pilot was all about set up but I like where I believe it's going. Visually, it's beautiful. I love when TV shows use their location as character and this one does. It puts me in the mind of Fargo, The Fall and The Killing.

  58. TGIT line-up, Allegiance, The Blacklist, The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory & Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Scandal and HTGAWM!
