I know Juliette killing the manticore is huge, but that smacks way too much of making her a super special snowflake. I'm going with the one that made me laugh so hard. Juliette getting brained with the peppermill when she tries to magick it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't vote for it but I laughed out loud when Juliette said the manticore missed , as explanation.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite scene in this one but I definitely liked all the Wesen Council stuff.
ReplyDeletemy favorite scene was the promo for the next episode.
ReplyDeleteAll Juliette scenes - some of them were quite hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHa! Have to agree with you there because technically that was my favorite scene of the night too.
ReplyDeleteWith any luck we will get Nick asking for a more in-sdepth explanation in the beginning of next episode or else Nick needs to resign as a detective.
ReplyDeleteThe Wesen Council is preferable to the Royals right now for me. Maybe they can be the serial component next season.
ReplyDeleteWhen that peppermill clocked her, I burst out laughing so hard I missed part of the scene.
ReplyDeleteits still technically part of this episode, since it was playing during the credits.
ReplyDeleteDarn. Should have made that a choice then.
ReplyDeleteI actually voted for the Viktor, Renard, Adalind scene. Is wrong of me that I want them to kill Adalind and let Viktor live? I know he's bad but he's just so adorable, "I never get to answer the door in my own house!"
ReplyDeleteI thought it was funny that Juliette had more luck with the manticore than she had with the pepper mill.

ReplyDeleteI'm still giggling about the pepper mill so that gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteRunner up would be Juliette defeating the Manticore. I'm glad that they can't "fix" her. I like her this way - I don't think Nick is going to freak about it - this means she can protect herself and that should remove a lot of the guilt that Nick has about bringing her into his world. However, she needs to get control pronto lest the other condiments take flight
Suppose Nick uses the manticore's own phone to send a staged photo of Nick "dead" as proof of kill- because the Wesen Council does not know yet that the manticore has been dispatched by our little pepper mill hexenbiest and Nick somehow uses this to get to them. Whoa - what if the two Council reps then got another hit order - and it is for Sean, a royal- surely then even those two would smell a rat in their chain of command. Just playing with ideas here...
ReplyDeleteActually, Nick sent them a picture of the dead Marechaussee bounty hunter at the end of the episode. So it looks like there could be a continuation of this storyline later on, since that means they still have an active hit out on Nick. And I don't see any reason why the Wessen Counsel would want Captain Renard dead, unless they were working with Prince Viktor.
ReplyDeleteFavorite scene when Juliette defeated the scorpion looking Wesen, and of course honorable mention when the pepper mill defeated her, that was an
ReplyDeleteLol moment, I'm loving they can mix gruesome with a lot of light moments!!
Oops, I missed that he sent the photo -- sorry, thanks. I do not think the two Council reps we saw know what's going on based on their somewhat questioning of ,but still following, their orders from their superiors. I was just trying to hazard a guess that somebody rotten on the Council was misdirecting them for nefarious purposes. The Renard thing was just trying to figure out what might be next.. No conviction of anything....just fooling around
