David Lyons To Topline NBC Pilot ‘Game Of Silence’
Revolution co-star David Lyons is returning to NBC as the lead in the network’s drama pilot Game Of Silence, from CSI maven Carol Mendelsohn, Parenthood executive producer David Hudgins and Sony TV.
Written by Hudgins based on a Turkish format and directed by Niels Arden Oplev, Game Of Silence centers on Jackson (Lyons), a rising attorney on the brink of success who could lose his perfectly crafted life when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret from their violent past.

Lloyd Owen Cast In ‘Apocalypse Slough’
Lloyd Owen (Apollo 18) has booked a five-episode arc on end-of-world drama Apocalypse Slough. The Sky series, which will air on NBC in the U.S., follows an eclectic group of ordinary people in an extraordinary situation: A collision is imminent with an eight-mile-wide comet that’s destined to wipe out all life on Earth. Together, they hunker beneath the town of Slough, about 20 miles west of London, to watch the end of the world on TV. Owen, repped by Buchwald Agency, Hamilton Hodell in the UK and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management,\ will play U.S. President Farrell, who is trying to come to terms with the end of the world approaching.

Matt Letscher (Boardwalk Empire, Scandal) will co-star opposite Jenna Elfman in Fox’s untitled Dana Klein comedy pilot, from 20th TV and Kapital Entertainment. Written by Klein and directed by Pam Fryman, it is told from the point of view of Ellen (Elfman), a working mom who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law. Letscher] plays Ellen’s husband, an intelligent, responsible professor of ethics with a very strong sense of right and wrong who plans ahead and over-thinks everything.
Cynthia McWilliams (Real Husbands Of Hollywood) has landed a co-starring role on NBC drama pilot Love Is A Four Letter Word, from playwright-TV writer Diana Son, 20th TV and Fabrik. The drama chronicles the collision of race, sexuality and gender roles when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test. McWilliams will play Tandi, one half of a happy couple with a young son who is experiencing difficulties fulfilling her dream of having another child.

Annie Potts and John Carroll Lynch are set to co-star opposite Fortune Feimster in ABC’s multi-camera comedy pilot Family Fortune, from Matt Hubbard, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Written by Hubbard and Feimster based on the family life and stand-up of Feimster, who grew up in Belmont, N.C., Family Fortune is set in North Carolina and centers on popular gym teacher Fortune (Feimster) who comes out of the closet to her close-knit group of family and friends. Potts will play her fun-loving, needy and sometimes egoistical mother. Lynch would play Fortune’s taciturn and tough father.

Look who’s back at HBO! Flight of the Conchords co-creator/star Jemaine Clement is set for a guest starring/recurring role in the HBO’s comedy pilot Divorce, which marks the return to the network of another signature star, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Written by British writer-actress Sharon Horgan and directed by Talia Balsam, Divorce tells the story of a very, very long divorce. It centers on Frances (Parker), a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought. Clement will recur as Julian, Frances’s close friend, a literature professor who lives in Manhattan. The breakdowns for the project indicate that the two are more than friends and are dating. Thomas Haden Church and Molly Shannon co-star. Horgan executive produces alongside Paul Simms, Aaron Kaplan, Parker and Alison Benson.
