The Samaritan POV shots indicate "Control 1", and "Control 2" in the left hand side. If Greer is one of them, and in the event he's inactive, maybe they'll reveal the second person.
Hahaha! Harold knocks someone over the head again! I'm sensing a pattern. He's come a long way from the "poke him in the eyes" technique from season 1.
Martine's in episode 16, while Greer isn't. Having him be taken out in this one, could help shed some light as to who else worked with him in bringing Samaritan online, from the shadows. Like I mentioned below, the SPOV screens point out to 2 people in Control (001 & 002) of its data, as well as a third (Admin Control). These things were visible from the episode it went online (Beta). Since Greer is kinda like its Daddy, wonder how it'd react to his passing (would it be forced to take hard action, or would it brush it aside by treating him as expendable).
Thanks, but I can't take credit for that. Some of the folks on Tumblr, happened to enhance the HD image, and identified it, sometime when S4 began. I checked back to see how long it has been there, and noticed it in Beta, too.
I still believe that Samaritan is being run by two guys much similar to the Wizard of Oz. Sure Samaritan probably does most of the stuff but the orders come from them. Greer is still the monkey to the organ we have yet to see the organ grinder.
There goes the theory that Claire was out to trap Harold. Looks like Samaritan is hunting her down. I can't believe the audacity of the little shit. Using those poor innocents in 4x12 and framing them to be killed off and now this? Wonder why he is hunting down Claire after promising her that he would take care of her. Did Claire find out something she shouldn't have? Did she go poking in places where she shouldn't have gone?
Greer is just another Knight in the game of chess that's being played out, we've yet to see the King and Queen. Samaritan doesn't have the capacity to show compassion like the Machine does. Harold built his to look after the people to make sure a large group of them don't die. Harold's Machine cares about Harold because he IS the mother/father and it believes in his core values and like any child wants to live up to their expectations. Samaritan doesn't care about all that, it just kills indiscriminately and so does God.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope Claire is straightforward and not working with Samaritan. Team Machine needs a big win.
ReplyDeleteI think they're biggest win comes here: Popping Greer off.
ReplyDeleteI saw your original reply before you edited it. Interesting point. I wonder how that would shake things up if that happened.

ReplyDeleteSo what's your theory ?

ReplyDeleteJust my 2 cents.
Looks really good.
ReplyDeleteClaire's return should be interesting. Can't wait to see what she's been up to.
ReplyDeleteSeriously they bring her back just to kill her. I hope i'm wrong but that shot doesn't look good.
ReplyDeletehuh. i hadn't noticed that. good eyes!

ReplyDeleteShe's seen with a blood stained sweat shirt earlier in the promo, indicating that she survived the shot in the final few seconds.
ReplyDeleteOh wow thank you i missed that.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. And not a problem. A LOT of people missed that :)
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, Claire is in danger.

ReplyDeleteTurning on them, would be... catastrophic.
ReplyDeleteHe is tired of all the shit that has gone down. No nonsense Harold - I like it.

Damn!! That's a very good theory.

ReplyDeleteAs Harold said: "Anyone who looks at the world as a game of chess, deserves to lose."
ReplyDeleteOr maybe it just means "the" Control?
ReplyDeleteCould be, dude. But it's in the show's nature to throw curve balls...
ReplyDeleteThere are no sneak peak? [sad face]
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty good, poor Claire !
