Thanks to Sharan Rajan for the heads up

  1. I can already tell I'm going to love this episode just from this sneak peek alone.

Wow, what a huge dilemma for Team Machine. If Finch does not want to bring Fusco in on any more cases for fear of losing more good people, where are they going to get the help from?

  2. I'm confident Fusco won't let them exclude him :)

  3. Now I wonder if they will ever have any closure about Shaw. Will it be "No new lead about Shaw" in every episode now?

  4. Probably not, at least not in this form. To me it makes the show great, that a story doesn't end with the last on screen line of a character. They are referring to Carter more than a year after she is dead, why wouldn't they mention somebody who they don't know anything for sure?

  5. John Reese and Harold Finch don't know anything about an actress named Sarah Shahi and her pregnancy. What "everyone knows" doesn't matter an inch to them, only what they know.

I don't know how much time the show jump ahead after the previous episode, I assume not much, maybe a week or so - why is it so surprising that they hasn't already settled on the fact that they followed a false track and very likely failed to save another of their partners - again?

It is very likely that this won't be a topic in all of the coming episodes, but I'm very glad that this show doesn't follow the general practice a death worths maximum 15 minutes and is completely forgotten by the and of the next episode. Sacrifices should have an impact but instead of this most shows simply cheapen them by fastforwarding to the next plot without looking back.

  6. My point is that refering to Shaw over and over again is redundant. It doesn't lead anywhere since we know the actress will not appear again for anytime soon. Like I said, it wouldn't be an issue if this was a regular plot point. But it's not. As far as I can see, the Team looking for Shaw doesn't lead anywhere so I'm wondering how long they will keep that storyline going.
That she's on everones minds, especially Roots' is completely understandable. And it should be like that. But the current storyline is that they are not just remembering her, they keep looking for her. And from what I know that plotline doesn't go anywhere unless there were some scenes shot in advanc.e
