I would guess that NBC thought that State of Affairs and Allegiance would both do better ratings than Odyssey, but I agree with you that Odyssey looks more promising than either of those two shows.
Yep, I would agree. The Pilot was one of the better ones we've seen here at SpoilerTV this season. It's very good. We should have our preview posted a little nearer the time.
I read elsewhere that the pilot is around 51 minutes, do you think NBC will air it with limited commercials or make cuts? Or maybe things in the pilot will be moved to episode two, since the show is filming three episodes at once, first the American scenes in New York and than the Middle East scenes in Morocco.
52:10 is the length of the pilot we've received. I'm kind of hoping they leave it long like some cable networks do for their series premieres. It would be very hard to remove 10 minutes of the episode without doing some damage because it's all so good.
Too soon to tell. I think it would have had a better shot if scheduled in the fall, perhaps in the place of Mysteries of Laura. (for the record, I also think Laura would have done better with State of Affairs's slot)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OMG that looks amazing
ReplyDeleteNow I've seen an actual promo, I think I will check this out.
ReplyDeleteWow that looks really good. Is it a Mini series?
ReplyDeletelooks pretty intense, i'll try it out
ReplyDeleteLooks like NBC's best new drama by FAR, so of course they aren't premiering it until April...
ReplyDeleteLooks very interesting...
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing. The only mid-season show that looks amazing and interesting.

ReplyDeleteThough they are 2 completely different shows, Odyssey was more captivating than The Blacklist from my perspective.
