Grimm - Trial By Fire - Review

Feb 15, 2015

We knew it was coming. In this week Grimm Trial By Fire, when an arson case looks to have Wesen origins, Nick finds himself reluctantly having to ask an old foe for help. Elsewhere, Viktor teaches Adalind the effectiveness of well-played diplomacy. Meanwhile, Juliette finds herself in a confrontation sooner than expected.

To solve the case of the week, a fire burst in the middle of the night in which two employees died, Nick and Hank must get Orson's help, a Wesen they arrested back in season 1. Orson seems pretty collaborative as the team finds out about an Excandesco, a Wesen who, according to Grimm's books, generated the fire who burned Rome during Saints Peter and Paul's years and, consequently, created the mith of the Phoenix. So, apparently, according to Grimm, Nerone never burned Rome lol Are we facing a new kind of Human Torch?

Also, Nick needs to ask Rosalee's help but when he takes Orson to her store, sparks fly between he and Monroe because of their past feud involved Angelina, Monroe's ex - ah, men! Rosalee has completely right. She's tired about this hate among Wesens and Nick is only doing the right thing in fnding out who killed the two kids. Monroe has his rights too, but we're talking about stopping a huge killer Wesen. In fact, as the group starts to put together a spell to stop him, Monroe appears to help.
That poor guy Andy who hired the Excandesco feels guilty. He thought he could have get rid of the two kids and his father and then run the company, but he changed his mind and now Nick and the others must find a way to stop the evil Wesen. Thanks God the potion they made worked and the Excandesco exploded like a volcano. That scene reminds me of Ghostbusters in some way lol Also, Monroe and Orson make up, and Rosalee couldn't be any happier. Marriage changes people.

Meanwhile, Viktor and Adalind finds out Kelly Burkhart was driving Juliette's car when she ran away with little Diana. So the Hexenbeists fight happened. Juliette is a Hell of a fighter and stronger than Adalind. I guess nether of them would have expected it. Then, finally, when Nick comes home, Juliette shows him she's a Hexenbeist now! Her beauty has become a beist and one of Nick's nightmare.
