Girl Meets World - Season 2 - Trina McGee and Blake Clark to guest star

Trina McGee, who played Angela Moore for three seasons on the original TGIF hit, is headed to Girl Meets World in the series' second season.

McGee will be joined by Blake Clark — who played Shawn's dead-beat, but beloved father, Chet Hunter — and the two will make their Disney Channel debut with Shawn and the new Matthews family next season, ETonline can exclusively confirm.

Keeping with the theme of the BMW family, William Russ — aka Cory's father Allen Matthews — will be directing the upcoming episode.

    Well no matter how they bring him back this news is great and pretty much all the news so far on season 2 sounds awesome, it really seems like next season will be alot closer to what BMW was like with a ton of the original cast members coming back.

    Wonder how they're bringing Shawns dad back. I can only think of two ways, a dream/ghost sequence, or a flashback.

    Huh... I was kinda hoping the Katty/Shawn thing would happen so I dunno how I feel about Angela coming back...

    Also can we get Jack back too? I think he's the only one left from the old cast not having made an appearance yet.

    I think everyone is too hard on Katy. It's clear she doesn't have the means to give Maya all she needs and so yes I'll agree that she fails as a parent on many levels (especially when you have the Matthews as the golden example to compare her to) , but I think she honestly tries as best she can and she really loves her daughter, and nobody really gives her much credit for that. At least once Shawn saw that she was indeed trying, he did recognise that and made sure people knew she does indeed give more of a damn than she lets on.
