I am worried about suits now
ReplyDeleteIt's already renewed, tho.
ReplyDeleteSorry but that is just not good for The Americans with what Always Sunny did in 18-49. Always Sunny is on FXX which a lot of people still dont get because it is on a higher tier on a lot of cable providers than FX.
ReplyDeleteDisappointing for the terrific Man Seeking Woman.Don't see how they can renew a show that will level out at under 100,000 viewers.
ReplyDeleteOne of these times The 100 won't adjust down. I know it'll happen ... someday ...
ReplyDeleteNew low for Criminal Minds, then. Also good of Black-ish to bounce back somewhat even though it's airing against a much stronger Empire.
ReplyDeleteMy nose was correct: The 100 adjusted down. Huge sigh.
ReplyDeleteDarkUFO, arrow was also adjusted up a tenth. So that puts it at a 1.1 and not a 1.0
ReplyDeleteNow it really gets boring with the adjustment of The 100
ReplyDeleteOuch, Criminal Minds. Series low...
ReplyDeleteI think it had that same low a few weeks ago? Empire is really destroying all the competition.
ReplyDeleteNo, it went as low as a 1.9 so far.
ReplyDelete:o Jane will be CW's 5th most watched series this week :o
ReplyDeleteSorry, fixed.
ReplyDeleteFat finger syndrome
No problem :)
ReplyDeleteOw M& J!! BD beat it.
ReplyDeleteOh oh. The Americans does not look good.
ReplyDeleteSame here
ReplyDeleteNo idea why FX continues cannibalizing FXX with its own shows. Sunny and Man Seeking Woman should've been put on Thursdays.
ReplyDeleteYa i'm definitely a fan of it. It's just something very different but we live in a world where the terrible big bang theory is the #1 most watch comedy and different is I guess bad to middle america Nielsen viewers
ReplyDeleteAlthough it wouldn't shock me if they gave it another season.
Another week, another adjustment downward for The 100. It has to stop!
ReplyDeleteI've got the same thing! #lmao
ReplyDeleteSad that The 100 went down, but happy for the Canaries episode it was so great.
ReplyDeleteNice to see some Man Seeking woman fans here. The show is different and I like it.
ReplyDeleteWTF empire and expected for the 100
ReplyDeleteEmpire is a monster - a Cookie fueled monster.
ReplyDeleteWhew. Big sigh of relief. I missed that news somehow so thanks!
ReplyDeleteArrow adjusted up. Yay!!! The 100 adjusted down :(
ReplyDeletethe 100 adjust down.. no surprise
ReplyDeleteI know The 100 deserves much more, but god damn it, this week it really deserved to keep that 0.6.
ReplyDeleteThe 100 also hits a new series low in total viewers..
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just noticed - this is a series low in total viewers and a tied series low in 18-49 demo, so basically - the absolute low.
ReplyDeleteEMPIRE AU DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
ReplyDeleteGreat for Arrow AU. it was gonna be weird that the episodes with Oliver were gonna be low xD and of course The 100 AD.
The CW must be really happy with The Flash and The Arrow. I hope that doesn't mean another spin-off.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you care if there is another CW/DC Universe show?
ReplyDeleteThey said they're working on another DC show a Atom spinoff
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think I would prefer a Firestorm spinoff first.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm already sick of the crossovers as a Flash fan. It will get worse if there's yet another show crossing over.
ReplyDeleteYay Arrow, I didn't think it would get adjusted up this time, and wow Empire!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with The 100 is that it's kind of a niche genre. The show kind of revolves around the fact that any character could suddenly be killed off. Some people like the danger of that, but if you're like me and you watch television for the characters more than the story, your reason for watching can be completely destroyed in a single episode.
ReplyDeleteSudden character deaths make sense for the story, but that doesn't make it any easier to watch.
And that's why Game of Thrones, where nobody dies, is such a failure, right?
ReplyDeleteNo but it's based on an extremely popular book series. 2 very, very different things.
ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones had a fanbase from its books long before it ever became a series. Most of the people who have read the books know who is going is going to live or die beforehand.
ReplyDeleteIt's not at all the same thing.
I wonder if the fact its final season was announced had an effect on Melissa and Joey? Usually that show does slightly better than Baby Daddy.
ReplyDeletePeople exaggerate though. Two season and they've only killed 2 main characters. It's not like The Walking Dead. They hradly kill any guest stars either, mostly the bad guys.
ReplyDeleteArrow!!! So proud!
ReplyDeletebut it's only the demo that counts, isn't it? As longer as EMpire keeps rising, the viewers for The 100 will keep dwindling.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder if Empire wasn't against The 100, that The 100 would be back to 0.6. The season started with 0.5, but then it got three 0.6s in a row. Only went down for the finale because casuals thought the MSF was the previous week along with the Arrow MSF and no Arrow lead in. I think without Empire, The 100 would have gotten at least one 0.6 in the second half. Everyone I know both IRL and online, watches Empire live. Even 2 of my friends who are fans of The 100. I tried to get them to watch it live but they'd rather watch Empire so they can talk about it with everyone right afterwards.
ReplyDeleteLOST, TWD, GOT all shows that killed of way more characters and were huge huts. It's that the CW crowd doesn't like all the darkness. Most prefer superheroes saving the day.
ReplyDeleteLOST?
ReplyDeleteEmpire just continues to dominate. I may have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see Arrow up.
The power of positive thinking. Also, one of Arrow's higher rated episodes is bound to give The 100 a boost at some point. And it just needs a little one.
ReplyDeleteGreat for Empire and Arrow! ♥
ReplyDeleteThe 100 is still the most underappreciated show though! :( It kinda reminds me of the ratings of Pushing Daisies, another great show but with low ratings.
Lost is a show that people never stop complaining about, The Walking Dead started out as comics, not to mention it's a ZOMBIE series so viewers expect huge casualties, and I already mentioned Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteThe CW not only made a hit out of The Flash this season, but it actually managed to perk Arrow up as well. They have done a wonderful job with the whole promotion of both, there are promos airing for them every week!
ReplyDeleteIf they just found a way to squeeze The 100 in the momentum I would be over the moon, but as of right now I have to recognized that their promotional effort on both shows have payed off greatly
What about it?
ReplyDeleteI guess sometimes we just have to accept that some shows, no matter how good we think they are, simply just don't resonate with a larger viewer population.
ReplyDeleteYeah, sometimes that happens. But I haven't given up hope yet; if Scandal pulled a reversal of misfortune on season 2, I'll keep believing The 100 can do it eventually.
ReplyDeleteGotta stay optimistic till the very end!
I agree. The success of Arrow and Flash is pretty incredible for the CW and compensates whatever losses they are having elsewhere. Those two shows, particularly Arrow, have a major "fanboying" effect on me, I am always crazily rooting for them and I get super excited with their success, it's crazy ahah. It is not even rational!
ReplyDeleteThe problem is most of fans of The 100 don't watch live. It's a show people would rather watch later on DVR or cwtv.com. Last time I saw DVR ratings it was at 0.9. So the audience is bigger. The fanbase online is huge, espeically compared to last season. If only more of us could have Nielsen boxes and watch live. Some fans don't understand how imporant it is to watch it live, but then complain about the low ratings,
ReplyDeleteWhile it doesn't get as low of ratings as the 100 hundred, the show i watch on cbs... Person of interest. it is one of the most underrated shows out there. high concept action sequences, unique and deep character development and story lines that are intelligent and very socially relevant. the show has started to damn near completely shed its procedural roots these last two seasons and has the serialized quality of a cable drama... but being on cbs, a network with an audience not used to a high concept drama with that kind of format like that doesn't help. im glad it made it to season 4. so i understand what some mean when a show may be good or even great but there's a large audience that just won't give in. its tough.
ReplyDeleteIt is ONLY important to watch live if you are a Nielsen family in some way. If you're not your live viewing doesn't count for anything. It might actually be more helpfull to watch online on cwtv.com if you can access it. They can actually track each and every time an episode have been accessed there, so every viewing actually counts. Any way we can help the demise of the antiquated Nielsen system by embracing new platforms is a win for a tv fan.
ReplyDeleteDon't remind me of Pushing Daisies season two ratings. I felt a little guilty, because I was trying to give Knight Rider a chance at the time.
ReplyDeleteThe 100.5 *sigh*. One day, one day.
ReplyDeletei hate to say this but the us americans have a really stupid taste in television...
ReplyDeleteyou have not seen German TV Series productions.....
ReplyDeleteactually i have since i live in austria
ReplyDeleteok, and you thinkg that what us tv produces is that bad? What about shows like GoT? I mean German TV is not even able to bring their own idea's they just copy cat what has been done somehwere else..... Even the horrible soap GZSZ is a rip off of an australian soap.
