Nice for Shameless :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing for TWD and BCS!
ReplyDeleteNot surprised by Looking's low ratings, Grammy expectedly hit it hard. But I am surprised at other HBO shows. Both Girls and Togetherness lost almost half of it's viewers.
ReplyDeleteWith the last season renewal with "Getting On", I think Looking is the only HBO comedy has not been renewed. Probably it got cancelled after this season finished /;
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think so? I don't see any connection.
ReplyDeleteGetting on's last season ended, what, in December? And they announced renewal today.
Shameless will probably run for 7 seasons, like Dexter.
ReplyDeleteThey almost have the same rating. Hope my thinking is crazy, coz it is really bad for see this show got cancelled
ReplyDeleteI'd say Looking's ratings are better. Better in 18-49 demo, and general numbers."Getting on" rarely got higher than 0,25 - even without serious competition. And "Looking" goes against Grammy and Golden Globes and Oscars in few weeks. Also even with numbers like that, "Getting on" still got third season. So I don't see why "Looking" could be cancelled after this season because "Getting on" was renewed.
ReplyDeleteI doubt this. If Getting On can get renewed, I don't see how HBO can't renew Looking.
ReplyDeletePlus the episode was available On Demand the week prior and its viewership comes more from sources like that than live ratings.
ReplyDeleteGood for TWD. Not really huge retention from Better Call Saul.
ReplyDeleteIf they go the way of the UK version, they could be on for 5 more seasons.
