SyFy seems to be struggling in general, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteomg SyFy! I'll be really disappointed if 12 Monkeys is cancelled, it's their best show since SGU imo.
ReplyDeletelast year's "original" shows from syfy were very bad, so now they will need something bigger and better to get viewers back. 12 monkeys is good but not what they need
ReplyDelete12 Monkeys, deserves much better rating, its great show..
ReplyDeleteew no Cristela
ReplyDeleteYeah HoD
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff from HoD. I assume Pedowitz is dealing his fingers blue calling all the actors and writers back ;-)
ReplyDeleteNot a fan but HOD is certainly making a case for another season, it would need another half season to get to 88. I wonder if they might add it to their big Summer 2016 schedule?
ReplyDeletehappy for grimm
ReplyDeleteWow HoD-tied Jane,The 100,beat Reign
ReplyDeleteCristela is below The Neighbors was doing this time last season and ABC doesn't own it. It should be a guaranteed cancellation.
ReplyDeleteHart of Dixie keeps fighting. The show may end up cancelled but anyone stating this is an obvious renewal and a dead show walking is severely mistaken and just for that the show should be renewed.
ReplyDeletethe 0.3 for HoD was the real fluke
ReplyDeletewow, I thought 12 monkeys would do much better,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how they could draw their viewers back. There are several shows on Syfy that aren't bad quality and struggle to make it to another season.
ReplyDeleteI hope they do that. As long as they can keep the same actors and storyline.
ReplyDeleteI would argue they are both doing around the same. Cristela is dirt cheap but I still agree. Unless LMS gets too expensive and FOTB absolutely bombs, I don't see too much hope for it either.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever watched The Neighbors? From what I hear it had a rocky start but turned into a really good show. If that's the case then they really shouldn't have moved it to Friday.
The problem is that would be such a long gap between seasons. Season 4 ends in March so you would be asking people to wait over a year. For a show with an already small fan base that's risky. I love the show and would be excited to have it come back whenever but I hope instead of holding it for summer 2016 they will split a season between HOD and one of the other lower rated shows they already renewed, maybe do 12/13 episodes of each. They need to keep getting 0.5 I think to have any chance of more episodes at all since the CW renewed so much of their lineup already.
ReplyDeletehe better be :)
ReplyDeletePoor Helix and 12 Monkeys! I have no idea if they would do better on another night, but I wish they would try something...
ReplyDeleteI totally don't get it. BBC shows aren't always high budgeted either, but they seem to do alright. I think if anyone can watch Dr. Who, then they can watch almost anything on the SYFY channel minus wrestling! XD
ReplyDeleteI personally think SYFY has really tried hard to get back it's BSG-era and offer an array of different kinds of science fiction and/or fantasy.
12 Monkeys is definitely a big improvement. And I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I like Helix way better this season, simply because the acting and the build to this season's story is better IMO, because I think it will rely on last season's. I actually care about characters that I didn't last season, despite that I think the plot twists are slower.
It's a shame. 12 Monkeys might get a second season, but I think my poor Helix is a gonner unless it does something drastic in it's second half.
UK shows for some reason are held higher than American shows. The only UK show I watch right now is Sherlock.
ReplyDeleteSyfy does deserve more attention now.
