A second season is highly unlikely.
ReplyDeleteCome save the show SyFy !
ReplyDeleteI hope this show makes it...there's so much potential and it got better as it went along. Plus, the Manny reveal is making me truly want to see more.
ReplyDeleteI think Constantine would fit well on Scfy. It is a sister channel of NBC so it would stay in the Universal family.
ReplyDeleteWell that doesn't sound very enthusiastic.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it reported that as of right now SyFy is not interested in picking up Constantine?
ReplyDeleteSince Hannibal appears to be moving to summer, I think NBC should pick this up for another season and pair it with Hannibal in the summer. The two shows have a similar tone and would compliment each other well. If NBC doesn't pick it up, I would rather it went to The CW or Netflix over SyFy.
ReplyDeleteKinda. A senior executive for Syfy mentioned that they have not had any discussions regarding Constantine. They haven't said if they are or aren't interested, just that it hasn't been discussed yet.
ReplyDeleteThey did it with Sleepy Hollow. Maybe the plan is to keep the seasons shorter than normal. I don't get why it matters.
ReplyDeleteWith Sleepy Hollow it was a creative decision, with Constantine it was a ratings one.
ReplyDeleteWell at least NBC is seriously considering it. There's no logical reason they wouldn't just announce it's done if it was definitely done... they had the courtesy to do it with every other show that's been axed so far this season... but at the same time, sounds like chances are slim. However I'm gonna hope the writers come up with an excellent pitch and that NBC's pilots come back so unwatchable they renew it.
ReplyDeleteI'd be just as happy to see it on Netflix, Syfy or The CW though. (Maybe even TNT, they seem to be a lot more open to sci-fi/fantasy than they used to be.)
People will come back to AOS if avengers appear on the show , people are watching the show if you see DVR numbers , they are just not doing it live.
ReplyDeleteI really want a second season, They can not do this to us.
ReplyDeleteplease, please, please! We need to save this show! I love it combined with Grimm!
ReplyDeleteI think they will give Constantine another chance od redemption as it were.. Constantine ids better than what out their in TV land it deserve another shot..My Fridays are as follows Constantine , Grimm and then bed.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Constantine is that the writers made a fatal error; they made him an unsympathetic character. I don't care if Constantine wins or loses. His buddy the cabbie can't act and the girl isn't my type. The only interesting character is the angel and he's hardly ever in it.
