After the stressful Castle two-parter, you would definitely need a break and that's what Monday's episode provides.
The episode involves the murder of an astronaut inside a Mars simulation. The simulation has been privately funded by an internet billionaire in preparation for a real Mars mission. To see the victim's body, the teams heads to the simulation site and Castle seems to be having the time of his life on "Mars". With all the astronauts accounted for during the time of the murder and the entrance to the simulation site closely monitored, Beckett and co. will have to think outside the box to solve this case.
Meanwhile, Casa de Castle gets overcrowded with Martha's "companion" and Alexis's friends over a lot. Unable to have some alone time with Beckett at his own his house, Castle calls a family meeting.
The episode has everything you can wish for; a talking computer, a "Mars" rover and even aliens? The episode is light, fun and really enjoyable and has some really nice Caskett moments.
Teasers:
- Amazing new title card!
- Castle and Beckett both signed up for something without each other's knowledge.
- There has never been a murder committed this way on Castle before.
- "Where no man has gone before."
- Someone brings up Caskett babies.
Dialogue Teasers:
Castle, we got a murder... to solve, not to commit.
Best case ever!
Even when you whisper, everyone can hear you.
Isn't that a little 2001?
I prefer my Oxygen without a can.
Why am I always at the bottom?
Yes, dear.
If you think that's how I'd get pregnant, we need to talk.
