Castle - Resurrection - Advance Preview
9 Feb 2015
BS Castle ReviewsAiring this Monday, is the first part of Castle's annual two-parter titled Resurrection. As everyone knows this two-parter is centered on Jerry Tyson AKA 3XK, Castle's nemesis who everyone believed to be dead, and his accomplice Dr. Kelly Neimen.
The Castle family is going through their morning routine when Beckett gets a call about a murder. The victim is a blond woman who was left in the dumpster. Lanie, who is at the scene, feels their is something familiar about her, but can't seem to pin-point it.
Lanie really seems to come through in this episode. When our team of detectives are at a dead-end about the victim's life, she gives them with a solid lead which takes them straight to Dr. Kelly Neimen. With this knowledge, Beckett goes straight to Gates, asking that Castle be brought back to the precinct for this case.
As seen in this sneak peek, when our detectives do apprehend Tyson, he flat out denies being Jerry Tyson, claiming he is someone else. The rest of the episode mainly revolves around the precinct trying to prove that the man is in fact Jerry Tyson, something which is not easy since they have none of the records for 3XK. If they are unsuccessful, they'll have to set him free, letting him slip though their grasp again. Working against the clock, they look for anything that will prove that he's actually Jerry Tyson.
The episode is definitely one of the best season. Every scene including Annie Wersching and Michael Mosley is intense. And the cliffhanger at the end of the episode will make waiting a week for the next part of the episode very hard.
Teasers:
- Alexis does something new which surprises both Castle and Beckett.
- Expect flashbacks in this episode, a lot of them.
- Neimen's fascination with Beckett's features continues.
- We delve deeper into Jerry Tyson's past.
Dialogue Teasers:
----- (blank), It pains me to admit it, but I'm in your debt.
I signed up for an escort service, I need to meet a client.
You sure? You look a bit fatigued.
You look well, Mr. Castle, though your palpebral folds could use some tending.
For you, I made an exception.
Resurrection airs this Monday at 10/9c on ABC.

hopefully Alexis' surprise is that she moves to the south pole and takes Martha with her
ReplyDeleteAnd why not while we are at it have espo ryan gates tori and lanie go along with them....
ReplyDeleteI love Alexis and want her character to have a decent storyline. Alexis is too vital to the whole Castle lore to be disliked. She makes Castle part of who he is. Without her, the show would not be so wonderful. Cannot wait for the next 2 episodes. They sound to be very intense and intriguing.
ReplyDeleteahahah ahah!!!! very funny!!!!
ReplyDeleteat this point it will be too obvious if was Alexis who signed up for an escort service
ReplyDelete....too bad! I was already picturing Castle's face :))
Just a reminder: in Disciple the physical evidences diappeared. Fingerprints and DNS data are stored in a central computer database and that - at least according to the show - was not tampered. So this much is about the problem of identifying anybody.
ReplyDeleteThis is beginning to look very interesting. Tyson playing with both Kate and Rick.
ReplyDeleteDNA should also tell if it is really Jerry Tyson.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I meant to say.
ReplyDelete"Neimen's fascination with Beckett's features continues". Not exactly what I hoped for after I was grossed out last time regarding her creepy fascination with Kate's feature.
ReplyDeleteIn Before "Omg plot holes omg omg"
ReplyDeletena, I like Ryan and Tory
ReplyDeleteOke they can stay but then Perlmutter and Jenny go instead!
ReplyDeleteshe serves some purpose, but for most parts she's just annoying now. Same for Martha and Esposito. Overall the writers haven't done a good job with the side characters in my opinion. Thank god there's Beckett.
ReplyDeleteI actually like them too. Perlmutter vs Castle is pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they will adress DNA/fingerprints, Tyson/Nieman probablymessed with that too
ReplyDeleteMartha has been underused the past few seasons. She is a favorite of mine and Susan deserves more airtime. Same goes for Lanie. How great would more girl time be with her and Kate? Fans have been asking for more of that for years now.
ReplyDeleteyou can't blame her for recognizing extraordinary beauty when it's right in front of her ;)
ReplyDeletethat's why Annie Wersching is in my opinion one of the most underrated actresses on television right now...she is that good

ReplyDeleteDuring the opening family scene, Alexis will most probably show Kate some affection that hasn't been seen before.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm hoping for anyway...
Grrr so Beckett gats kidnapped right at the end then is my bet. Hate cliffhangers!!!! Rahhh. I'm going to try and save this one and watch it together with next week.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this episode. It's looking like it's going to be another great episode. ☺
