    It sort of looks like Merlyn. Is it possible they are teaching each other? They fight as Merlyn in training and as Oliver in training? Stephen Amell has hinted at Oliver changing suits later this season. Could they switch outfits for a fight against the League?

    If it is him, i think he will lure Felicity to get revenge from Oliver or he will actually think he is Oliver and when Felicity realizes he isn't he will get mad. Felicity will die for "5 seconds"(When people asked Marc what o expect of the two in 3x18 he replied "5 seconds") before coming back to life.


    Just some tought... Don't know why, but i think 3x18 will be like "3x07, Part 2".

    We can't quite know, tbh... They sometimes work on saturdays... So that could be the first day of production of episode 18 or the pre-production of a fight for 3x18: The Ra's vs Oliver fight was worked on for a whole month, for example.
    Like i said, it's weird they haven't posted the episode's name yet...

    Yeah, it all depends from what episode the pic is... Production on 3x17 ended on the 6th, but this could be a prep of a fight for 3x18 or maybe they were working on a Saturday(Saturday 7th is the day Stephen uploaded it) to accomodate some scenes for later(since both EBR and Brandon Routh are also doing Flash this week).
    Who knows? But they should have put the first script page on twitter by now... wich is weird.

    Has anyone ever noticed that when Stephen Amell speaks as Oliver he always looks to the side of someone and not at them. It is as if sometimes he can't maintain eye contact. Did they put the speech boards to the side of people? It is very distracting and he is the only person on this show who has this habit.

    Especially he's fighting a straight guy. The heroe will run away scared if he's cornered by +100 naked mans with their "thing" hanging there, looking to engage in a physical confrontation...


    That would be the ultimate defense...

    Anything about Felicity will always be over hyped. It's because they hardly gave us any info on her for 2 seasons we all had our own head canons for her. Now whatever they come up with someone will be disappointed.

    They are treating this as if her father could be some major villain like Hugo Strange("On episode 3x18 you'll know a tiny bit about him", "we always knew who he was", "we don't want to give that away yet", etc) and i fear they will come up and say "Felicity's father is... Calculator!"...


    And i'm gonna be here preparing my torch to go in a witch hunt... Unless they come up with a GREAT character to use, i think this will be the biggest disapointment i'm gonna have.

    I second that notion lol There has been many photos of Stephen and Colin Stunt Doubles together especially when they were filming on the roof of a building with Oliver sporting arrow heads in a formation on his left shoulder.

    It's not as much as "over lap productions" but that they prep the fights with a LOT of time ahead so they can learn the coreography. They plan the story, send it to Banford, he makes a fight, they do rehersals and videotape them, then the full script comes, they do tweaks, they rehersal and finally shoot it... The Ra's fight took ONE WHOLE MONTH to prep(they made 2 and a half episodes while making that fight).


    I once saw Stephen with his stuntman and some others practice a fight in the Arrow suit. It's like they use free time between takes to do some rehersals.


    So can we can't know for certain from wich episode is this. A dramatic scene? sure. But a fight, nope.
