I need that Doctor Fate helmet.
ReplyDeleteNice to see them giving Gotham some stuff too, it seemed like the black sheep of the DC shows. No tie in comic or book or anything. The DC website seems more interested in Arrow/Flash/Teen Titans Go! then Gotham too.
I WANT THEM ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened with Arsenal's hips and legs?
ReplyDeleteAll those luck funny. Felicity got her action figure, she will be an antic in a decade or 2.
Jim Gordon lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe its because Gotham is in a strong network compared to CW.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Jim Gordon, Felicity and Diggle. Why is Felicity's hands like this. They should have given her a tablet.
ReplyDeleteBecause the toy mold is interchangeable with all of the characters and only has two positions: closed fist and holding weapon. The holding weapon position also has the index finger extended when the hand is holding a gun like Diggle. It also works when holding a bow like Roy and its not too distracting that Roy's trigger finger is extended.
ReplyDeleteThey should have had a toy of Bruce as Mini-Batman.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think it's because Gotham is crap.
ReplyDeleteFelicity's hands are like that so the person can replay Felicity storming off again and again and again.
ReplyDeleteCould be but I'd assume they'd push more merchandise because of that. In theory more viewers means more potential sales. It was renewed pretty early (although it was always fairly safe) so I'd have assumed they would have tried to flood the market (and comic book stores) with merchandise.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the best. But it is getting better. They sidelined boring Barbara and thank God Fish Mooney is away for some time. I can't stand her. Gordon and Harvey Bullock are really fun when they are together now a days. It has its good points. I am not a fan of Gotham as I am of Arrow or The Flash. In fact Gotham is the lowest among the TV comic shows for me. Agent Carter and AoS comes way above Gotham.
ReplyDeleteHa! learned something new today. Still they should have somehow given her a tablet to hack.
ReplyDeleteI was one of Gotham's biggest supporters because, while not even remotely close to the comics with the idea that Gordon would act like a mentor to a young Bruce Wayne, I wanted Gotham to focus on that relationship, and it really hasn't. It's spending more time on Gordon's love life and the unnecessary pushing of Batman's known rogue gallery in the series little by little. I will say that Robin Lord Taylor has been magnificent as The Penguin, but that that doesn't mean the show should be trying to force other villains. They're going to be working on The Joker now which is....irritating to hear, lol.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I expected more original villains than them simply stealing from.Batman's rogues gallery. Why not make a Batman show then? It's the same with Arrow they are struggling to write for Diggle and considering making him a known super hero. God forbid they try and make an original character iconic by good writing.
ReplyDeleteMarc already shot that rumor down. John Diggle is John Diggle. He also dropped a hint that Warner Brothers has plans for John Stewart.
ReplyDeleteGotham should have been filled with original villains and MAYBE some villains that could stand to be a bit older as I always imagined Penguin to be older than Batman anyways, as in the Arkham games he seems relatively older than Bruce Wayne. And then there are villains that, while they're being used as the same age as Bruce on Gotham, should not have known Bruce so early, like Catwoman and Poison Ivy. It's as if they're throwing everything at a wall, see what sticks, and write an episode about it.
Because what Marc said was after David's comments. Marc alluded that as soon as David said what he said, he spoke to Warner Brothers who said that they already have plans for John Stewart, but I guess there were actual talks to making Diggle into Stewart, but those were squashed fairly early.
ReplyDeleteWho is Don Morone? I honestly don't watch the series anymore so you'll have to help me out, lol. I do with, though, from the first batch of episodes I have seen, that Gotham didn't show Carmine or Sal, but their fathers. That would have made more sense as well as showing the lineage of the crime families and their rivalries. But yah, Gotham should have been about the slow decay of the city and the reason why Bruce should become Batman. The freaks shouldn't even be running around yet. The Balloon Man is a great example, or that goat dude later in the season....Gotham should have been starting off slow without any freaks whatsoever in the first season. Gordon should have been able to first understand how the mobs run the city.
Who the fuck cares about a jim Gordon figure?
ReplyDeleteMike Penquin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
