I'm hoping Oliver takes a swim in the pit. His body is pretty much hamburger between all the bullet holes, stab wounds, broken bones, and miscellaneous internal injuries he's suffered over the years. It's a miracle the man is still standing, let alone functioning. If anyone could use some serious magical healing time, it's Oliver.
There are more twist to come........I don't think Oliver will take the offer as the producer already said he will become Green Arrow.........there will be some twist again since Ra's plan is not complete
The episode should be good he made a promise he won't leave starling again so I think he will reject it but that means war with the LOA probably.......there will be another twist in "The Offer" as we know Oliver will be a protector in episode 18......
Dude it's the f*cking Lazarus Pit. The greatest plot reviving device DC has. That's gotta be a little exciting. Plus when Oliver turns Ra's down all hell will break lose.
well I sure the writers will find a way to make it different from batman storyline when Bruce turn down the offer............one thing we know Oliver will become a public enemy...... Ra's master plan has yet to reveled this is something more to come
I think it is great way to show that Oliver will become the GA slowly but one step at a time.....he already make a damn promise to stay in starling so he broken this. It won't be a good thing
Yeah he really needs some kind of break. His parents are dead, his sister is wracked with guilt over killing his ex. His best friend is dead. Another killed hundreds because he hates him. He's poor. And the woman he loves basically wants little- at least to his knowledge- to do with him (and slept with the guy who took his company). At least he's gonna be a best man and potentially a immortal leader of a group of deadly killers. So things are actually in a weird way better a bit for Oliver. He could use the pit though if he say stabbed himself in the stomach and jumped in. Quick fix. Holy crap. The pit would be a cosmetic surgery money making machine. How did I just realize this?
Actually I was thinking that Oliver should destroy the Pit so Ra's being immortal would be gone......and somehow Oliver could cripple the LOA at the same time
This adds a whole new level to the season's theme because rather than now choosing to be The Arrow or Oliver Queen, he can now be Ra's al Ghul. Which, sorta makes sense because the past 14 episodes heavily focused on Oliver losing his name and his humanity, but why bring in the third choice when he can still be The Arrow? Unless Ra's brings up how he can now do more than he can ever wish as The Arrow. If Ra's brings in that logic, then I can see why this identity crisis has turned into such a manner.
I still think, though, that this season will end with Ollie deciding to just be Ollie and hang up the green hood. Yes, I see him quitting again, but unlike with S1's finale, he's going to try and do good as Oliver Queen until he needs to suit up again in S4. I think this could even cause a strain between him and Roy Harper, who will have continued to be Arsenal.
He will say no and the Ra's will come with some plan to put everyone agains him as he aid it will happen making Ollievr reconsider. I hope it does not go as predictable.
Oliver Queen is a man destined to be alone. Your city will turn on you. You will be scorned and hunted and then killed but I can give you a whole world to save
I would watch that. Everyone on the show gets so little screen time which they just use in useless ways. This show really needs to pick a story-line and a few core characters needed for said story-line and cut everything else out for a while. I understand wanting to expand the mythology of the show's universe, but the show is all over the place now and I'm losing interest quickly.
So Oliver will turn Ra's down. Ra's will make Oliver's life horrible by turning the city against him. Felicity will help ATOM and Arrow. ATOM will also be against Arrow thus Felicity being stuck in the middle. Oliver will get disheartened and will consider being next Ra's for an episode. He will get some pep talk from all his team members which will result in Team Arrow fighting the LoA at the end of the season.
I think it will be difficult for the show to change its title from Arrow to Green Arrow, but Amell has stated that this entire experience will call for him to even try to be better than just "The Arrow" and that in turn would be him becoming Green Arrow.
biggest problem is no one on team arrow beside Diggle is skilled enough to match them......they are going to need Nyssa and those loyal to her plus ARGUS/US military because it just won't end well......I sense civil war within LOA I don't see how they will accept Oliver as the new leader
Oh yeah. I forgot to add that. With Merlyn taunting Nyssa this episode and Ra's offering Oliver, father and daughter is going to be on the outs. Then Nyssa will help Oliver to beat Ra's.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Talk about an identity crisis.
ReplyDeletewell this is the theme of the season but which way it will go next is a good question
ReplyDeleteTururururururururu... Batman!!!
ReplyDeleteSay yes, Oliver. Scrap the whole show and remake it into a League of Assassins show with just you and Ra's and Nyssa.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a bad idea. Sounds better than the way the show currently is.
ReplyDeleteI second that.
ReplyDeleteHe's going to heal that cut on his palm in the pit? I can't decide if I'm excited about this episode or not.
ReplyDeleteohh! that what's doing AWESOME!!!, he HAS to be immortal right? i mean he talked about meeting a man in 1854!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Oliver takes a swim in the pit. His body is pretty much hamburger between all the bullet holes, stab wounds, broken bones, and miscellaneous internal injuries he's suffered over the years. It's a miracle the man is still standing, let alone functioning. If anyone could use some serious magical healing time, it's Oliver.
ReplyDeleteCan we just fast forward to the Suicide Squad episode? Please?
ReplyDeleteThere are more twist to come........I don't think Oliver will take the offer as the producer already said he will become Green Arrow.........there will be some twist again since Ra's plan is not complete

ReplyDeleteHe has to turn him down in order for Ra's to make Oliver's life miserable for long enough in the home stretch of the season.
ReplyDeleteDude it's the f*cking Lazarus Pit. The greatest plot reviving device DC has. That's gotta be a little exciting. Plus when Oliver turns Ra's down all hell will break lose.
ReplyDeleteHe's gotta be injured though or dying or very old. Or he will die.
ReplyDeletethe creators are talking about basically redeeming Nyssa, how do you guys feel about that? in my eyes she's more redeemable than Merlyn
ReplyDeletewell I sure the writers will find a way to make it different from batman storyline when Bruce turn down the offer............one thing we know Oliver will become a public enemy...... Ra's master plan has yet to reveled this is something more to come
ReplyDeleteNyssa did not kill 500+ people though so she probably is ant-hero.......the second trainer of Laurel
ReplyDeleteI like that he's considering it.
ReplyDeleteI think the heir to the LOA is nothing more than just another identify crisis theme" which will push Oliver to become GA
ReplyDeleteIt totally is.
ReplyDeleteWell ... that's disappointing. I was really hoping Oliver would catch a break on that front.
ReplyDeleteI think it is great way to show that Oliver will become the GA slowly but one step at a time.....he already make a damn promise to stay in starling so he broken this. It won't be a good thing

ReplyDeleteAnyone else having trouble with the new way this site posts videos?
ReplyDeleteActually I was thinking that Oliver should destroy the Pit so Ra's being immortal would be gone......and somehow Oliver could cripple the LOA at the same time
ReplyDeleteRa's has many pits hidden away and guarded. But trying would still be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteSo, are we getting another hero pep talk (probably from Felicity)? (Have not seen 3x15 yet).
ReplyDeleteThis adds a whole new level to the season's theme because rather than now choosing to be The Arrow or Oliver Queen, he can now be Ra's al Ghul. ReplyDeleteobviously he must have done something to turn The Arrow against the city......it won't be personnel again though
ReplyDeletewhich is strange isn't it? considering she the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, so is it possible?
ReplyDeleteno not really
ReplyDeleteWell she tried sort of, and Oliver shot her down.
ReplyDeleteI just can't understand what Ra's saying. Oliver Queen is a man destined to be ... - what??? help me out please.
ReplyDeleteOliver Queen is a man destined to be alone. Your city will turn on you. You will be scorned and hunted and then killed but I can give you a whole world to save
ReplyDeleteThx but I was guessing for 3x16.
ReplyDeleteThat is ok, hope he gets this one figured out on his own.
ReplyDelete"Oliver Queen is a man destined to be ....."???? Anyone know?
ReplyDeleteYou need to disable your adblock for the page. That's the only way I've found for the video to play.

ReplyDeletethanks a lot. seems so obvious now
ReplyDeleteSo Oliver will turn Ra's down. Ra's will make Oliver's life horrible by turning the city against him. Felicity will help ATOM and Arrow. ReplyDeletethat's a good point. just imagine he and show come back for season 4 with this name: "Green Arrow"
ReplyDeleteI think it will be difficult for the show to change its title from Arrow to Green Arrow, but Amell has stated that this entire experience will call for him to even try to be better than just "The Arrow" and that in turn would be him becoming Green Arrow.

ReplyDeleteActually I like his scars. They are a reminder that he is a survivor.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. I forgot to add that. With Merlyn taunting Nyssa this episode and Ra's offering Oliver, father and daughter is going to be on the outs. Then Nyssa will help Oliver to beat Ra's.
