So everyone is yelling at Oliver now. And he is barking orders at everyone but no one is listening to him *exasperated sigh*
ReplyDeleteI really hope she tells her.
ReplyDeleteOliver got a bit to soft this year, I hope he restablishes his leader role but with a certain amount of respect.
Loving the 2nd sneak peek. So I assume Nyssa will go rogue and abduct Merlyn without daddy's approval. Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteOliver Queen is a mess. I hope he comes out with some clarity after all this mess. Can someone tell me about the interview. I could hardly hear anything. Also there is only one small clip of Thea and Oliver there in that video right? Looks like Thea did tell Laurel the truth. Good girl.
ReplyDeleteThis second clip does nothing to prove Ra's is a bad guy. Infact he comes across as the most loving father and reasonable leader once again. What are our good guys fighting here again?
He kind of deserves the yelling from Thea..
ReplyDeleteHe kinda did. He says that they need to work with Malcolm because of the danger Ra's poses. First of all Ra's hasn't done anything evil thus far! and the only reason they are even on his radar is Malcolm!!!!!!!! gaaaaaaaaaaaaah OLIVER GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND USE YOUR HEAD!
ReplyDeleteProbably cause the LoA threatened to kill 20-50 people per day( can't recall the exact number) if theybwouldn't deliver Sara's killer.
ReplyDeleteBut for now they aren't that bad. Really don't see where they are heading with this story.
It's not that he's getting soft. He's making bad dumb decisions left and right. That has to stop!!! He REALLY needs to think about what he's doing! As for the leadership, Thea is not a part of the team. But TA is using his "death" and the fact that he was away (for TWO FREAKING WEEKS, it's not like he was away for 10 years people!) as an excuse to treat him like dirt and dismiss him even if he's right.
ReplyDeleteThe way they say Taer Alsafer or whatever that word is really annoys me. Especially since it means yellow bird (and they are saying it wrong anyways), it doesn't mean canary. Canary literally means canary.
ReplyDeleteI really hope they have a BIGGER plan in mind while writing this stuff cause it is freaking annoying. This Malcolm move is just pushing things to far.
ReplyDeleteI meant overall autjority. He lets them walk over him. I think TA would trust him more if they would understand his motives but we don't so they don't.
Wait so Nyssa actually believes that Oliver killed Sara?
ReplyDeleteeh even that could have been prevented if Oliver had handed Merlyn in at the very beginning. Seriously Ra's doesn't seem that bad .
ReplyDeleteIs no one going to mention the Lazarus Pit?
ReplyDeleteShe is blinded by pain and just wants someone to pay for Sara's death. A bit understandable.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if Ra would stop with Malcolm but who knows. Really expected more from him as the BBad
ReplyDeleteI agree. He just made the decision and told them (and us) it is what it is so deal with it. I'm working with Malcolm and I'm giving him a chance to be a good daddy to Thea.
ReplyDeleteU forgot the I don't want Thea to become a killer and lose her soul part of the story. #EyeRoles.
ReplyDeleteI would maybe understand these moves if he was having some sort of PTSD but I really don't feel his fear in any way. I miss that edge that would push him to this desperate moves.
I think she just wants someone to pay fpr Sara's death.
ReplyDeleteUntil they use the pit to resurrect someone it is just another hot tub.
ReplyDeleteI sure we see Ra;s dark side will be seen in the episode.......he obviously hiding something and has evil agenda
ReplyDeleteRa's is just taking a bath in a gakuzi hahahahahaha #getRa'sarubberduck
ReplyDeleteIt was 50 people per day until they give up the killer. But the thing is Nyssa believed Malcolm killed Sara even then. All she wanted was Oliver to turn him over to the league. I want to see Ra's do something really bad to someone we know like what Malcolm did to see him as a big bad. Not just skewer unknown ninjas.
ReplyDeleteI really wish they establish Ra's would kill Thea instead of Malcolm's word on it.
ReplyDeleteYeah right I forgot Thea's "innocence". Sure working with and defending mass murderer daddy is a big proof of innocence. *rolls eyes too*
ReplyDeleteHe HAS to be suffering from PTSD and a whole bunch of other psychological problems but they are not showing anything! He is so calm and robot like about the whole thing.
I disagree. TA had their reasons. They questioned him because he treated Laurel like dirt too. I agree Laurel is impulsive and not a great vigilante. But the team did what they could even Laurel when he was away. He comes back and he is like how could you allow her to go out? As if he owns all of them. He did deserve some of the shade they threw on him. Roy did not make sense though with his don't talk to Thea like that line.
ReplyDeleteRa's going to torture Malcom beat him up and then kill him.....plus more
ReplyDeleteThat just makes me want to give him a medal not kill him.
ReplyDeleteDJ Douchebag trying to poison her wine was not enough?
ReplyDeleteAgree. That line between his codex and being a BB is just to far away. He just seems to neutral at this point. Malcolm as a villain was driven energetic and I enjoyed him till S03. I miss that and I hope we get it by the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteAgreed about Thea. Thea is no where innocent. She brought the whole mess upon everyone of them when she decided to get into that car with Daddy dearest. She did not deserve to be mind fucked but it was her decision to stay with a mass murderer.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about that. Thank you for reminding me. Who remember's DJ Douche bag.
ReplyDeletemm that's true. I forgot about that. (The DJ storyline was so stupid) I wonder why he did that because at that point did Ra's know Thea had to do with Sara's death?
ReplyDeleteI need for Oliver Queen to break into pieces. Anything else is unacceptable.
ReplyDeleteI really hope they have a bigger overall plan.
You know what, she kinda deserved that just for hiring that d-bag in the first place lol
ReplyDeleteRa is going after Malcolm's bloodline so Thea was a target but poison seems so unlikely for the LoA.
ReplyDeletewhat exactly should Ra's do to show that he is evil?
ReplyDeleteYES! I've been saying that since episode 2. He has to break down. No human being can endure all that!
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Be more actively involved in the season's over all plot and not be the mysterious shadow who when grace the screen talks rationally and makes more sense than Malcolm.
ReplyDeleteTechnically she didn't kill Sara but she shares the blame for his death and for everything else that's happening now. Even in The Climb I didn't feel bad for her. Oliver was sacrificing his life for her and she still lied to Oliver and defended Malcolm. And Oliver truly believed that all of this was his fault. You know who started all this? Roy! He didn't tell Oliver that Thea was still in town which made her think that everyone abandoned her. It's also his fault for being dumb enough to hide arrows under his bed!
ReplyDeleteAnd takes baths.
ReplyDeleteThey should've had him kill 50 people in Starling even after Oliver turned himself in, or something of the like - even though that goes against League code or whatever. So far, he hasn't done anything villainous. Why is Malcolm so scared of him? If he's fair, and the show has painted him as being fair, then what's the deal? Yeah, he skewered Oliver and kicked him over a cliff, but all he was asking for was retribution for Sara's death and Oliver volunteered himself for it.
ReplyDeleteAt first he was just after Malcolm and Malcolm alone for The Undertaking (and forgive me, I'm kind of fuzzy on the convoluted details here), but is there a particular reason why Malcolm would say Ra's is going to come after his family? Was that ever part of the deal, or is he only coming after Thea because Malcolm involved her? Did Ra's even know she was Malcolm's daughter?
I am sure that Malcolm planted those arrow under Roy's bed.....actually this entire season is Thea's fault......if he never went with Malcolm it unlikely Sara will died and the entire season will be very different
ReplyDeleteI think they started going after Thea after episode 4 when Nyssa found out that Thea is Malcolm's daughter.
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter any more. She is DEAD!!!! Am I being rude enough??
ReplyDeleteBe kind to Roy LOL. Has he ever been smart in this series? He was always a dumb ass.
ReplyDeletehahahaha
ReplyDeleteHey, being the leader of a league of assassins is murder on your muscles!
ReplyDeleteThey have to show us Ra's ordering someone to kill Thea because she is Malcolm's daughter. Because right now I don't trust one word coming out of Malcolm's mouth. They need to clarify League's agendas.
ReplyDeleteNo Roy put them there because he didn't look surprised when he saw them. I was joking about him by the way lol
ReplyDeleteI agree Thea's dumb decisions are why we are here now. And Oliver is still trying to protect her like she is a delicate flower. She needed to realize what a stupid move it was trusting Malcolm. And she needs to redeem herself.
in the Lazarus Pit?
ReplyDeleteProducer have indicated there be flashback so we might see Ra's ordering an hit
ReplyDeleteTrue lol
ReplyDeleteYup
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that by making Thea Sara's killer, by rights she's got it coming to her too, since Sara actually died by her hand, and that preview kind of made it seem like Ra's knows. I mean, yeah, she was drugged into it, but I doubt he's interested in such technicalities.
ReplyDeletei am LOL, please let that be it and she's not grossed out by her old man being naked in front of her? LOL
ReplyDeleteMore than enough actually! Can I ask for the reason behind this sudden hostility?
ReplyDeleteshe's been redeemed, OLIVER is the one trusting a mass murderer which makes me sick but they need him, since it seems like Nyssa won't help them
ReplyDeleteRight? She didn't even look the other way.
ReplyDeleteinsulting Roy is mean
ReplyDeleteHow exactly has she been redeemed? Because she yelled at Malcolm? I need more than that.
ReplyDeleteSo she's guilty because her dad's an asshole? In any court Thea would be found not guilty. Since she's innocent. This fandom.
ReplyDeleteJust what this show needs: more weird family dynamics, haha.
ReplyDeleteI'd say threatening to kill 50 people a day, and having DJ mcdouchebag try to poison Thea is pretty evil.
ReplyDeleteNo No No. She is not guilty for Sara's death. But she shares the blame. She is not completely innocent. When she decided to trust Malcolm she did it with open eyes. She knew who he was. What he is capable of. He black mailed Moira for years. Still she went with him. Her actions caused all the events of season 3. We cannot simply call her innocent and scrub that all away.
ReplyDeleteI live to insult Roy and CH in every Arrow thread.
ReplyDeleteI also think Ra's has his doubts. I think Ra's realizes Oliver is too good to do something like kill Sara. He must have a hunch Oliver is doing this to protect someone he loves. And Oliver loves no one more than his sister.
ReplyDeleteI am still bitter about Sara's death. Who cares how many times they reference her or what they call her. She is gone. Her cameo in canaries was lack luster and we did not even get a glimpse of our old Sara. So they can call her whatever they want.
ReplyDeleteIt was Malcolm who caused season three's events. Not Thea. It doesn't matter if she went with him. That doesn't make her guilty. What next are we going to blame Oliver and Moira for Sara's death for lying to Thea and causing her to feel like she should go with Merlyn?
ReplyDeleteI understood him being strong during 3x02 but he freaking died, he needs to follow apart.
ReplyDeleteOh Graydon, how are ya? Haven't argued with you in a while lol
ReplyDeleteWell Thea brought that on herself when she hired that dude and when she trusted Malcolm. You agreed to work with a mass murderer don't come complaining now. And as for threatening to kill 50 people, he just did so Oliver would bring him Sara's killer. It's still wrong but it was to bring justice to one of their own.
I am not saying Thea needs to be punished. But she had no reason to go with a mass murderer. I have all the sympathies with Thea for the way Malcolm used her to get to his goals. But it was her decision to go with him even after knowing his true colors. And she deserves to be blamed for that stupidity.
ReplyDeleteI understand your anger and I hated her scenes in Canaries too except when she asked "why did I have to die?" but still don't yell at me. I didn't kill her!
ReplyDeleteI did not hate her scenes as such in canaries. But I wish for an episode with title canaries we would get a bit more than angry evil Sara. I expected a lot more than that.
ReplyDelete*kisses* I only yell at people I love. Others I just ignore.
To everyone and everything not correctly saying Ra's al Ghul. It's pronounced Raysh al Ghul. I'm sorry it's just been bugging me for months (seriously Arrow writers make up your damn mind).
ReplyDeleteTrue, but that makes him seem even less villainous to me, haha.
ReplyDeleteI hope he does something that horrifies me and makes me say Oliver kill the guy right now..
ReplyDeleteRaysh is a wrong pronunciation by the way.
ReplyDeleteI hated her scenes because I didn't like evil Sara.
ReplyDeleteI know hun *kisses*
She expected honesty. Nothing more. But sure lets give her blame. While we're at it I'll just start blaming Ra's al Ghul for Sara's death.
ReplyDeleteReally? You're defending a mass murderer worse than Malcolm Merlyn (yes murdering thousands in the name of your brand of justice is far worse than what Malcolm did). Yes because Thea should've done are you a killer check when hiring a dj. I like you Koky, but Jesus that was awful logic. I get Mac's dislike of our fandom's mindset, not because of shipping mind you but because we're able to condemn a mass murder than say oh well when another tries to kill and threatens to kill dozens if not more all because we take issue with a character like Thea's choices so some how that's okay. Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteWhat could be consider horriffic? cops killed brutallly? politican killed brutally? something that states don't mess with Ra's al GhuL!
ReplyDeleteFirst it's how the creators want it done so no. Second, and this is huge Roz isn't right either. Ross al Ghul is the more correct one.
ReplyDeletewell it's not nice
ReplyDeletewhat's TA?
ReplyDelete'Ross al Ghul' just made me think of Friends...
ReplyDeleteWell.....in this case I think it's Team Arrow.
ReplyDeleteit was just like when Slade imagined Shado i hated it
ReplyDeleteI can feel the love radiating from the comment!
ReplyDeleteThe part about Thea deserving it for hiring him was a joke (although yeah checking if the people you're hiring are killers or not should be no. 1 on her list, didn't we learn anything from Isabel?) but the part about people trying to kill her because she choose to work with a mass murderer is true. She brought this on herself. She knew what a horrible human being Malcolm is and yet she choose to work with him.
As for Ra's I wasn't defending him! I said it's wrong, didn't I? He's a ruthless murderer and nothing justifies taking someone's life! You're acting like I'm making his photo my screen saver! I was saying that it was explained in a weird noble way, he was trying to bring justice for Sara's killer, it was a threat to make Oliver realize they mean business (still wrong). They aren't showing him in an evil light! But what are Malcolm's reasons? He was saving himself because he doesn't want anyone to kill him for murdering 500+ innocent people.
I know, right?
ReplyDeleteFirst the creators are wrong so yes. Second, Raz is wrong as well. Third, it's nor Ross, it's Ra's.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry for implying that. Honestly I just hope Ra's on screen does something brutal because he needs to be shown for what he is to non-comic readers. As a brutal monster. I'd say they are, but like Malcolm are trying to make him a greyish figure. Come on Koky you know I love you. Just like Mac. Where is he btw?
ReplyDeleteOr very, very dark almost black grey character like Merlyn.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Ra's on the show has been suprisingly honorable and reasonable and far from the megalomaniac villain of the comics (who allthough still has a degree of honor)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the story is less about Ra's being a classic big bad and more about Oliver right now repeating his father's misstakes (making alliances with horrible people (Malcolm) out of a desire to do good (protect Thea). That goes better with the supposed theme of "Identity" this season.
Well I've heard Ross from people who speak Arabic. I've also heard Raysh is correct as is Raisch. So I'm going with the one from the character's creators, common consensus and the best sounding so it's Raysh.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing, the show needs to show him as a horrible monster. But like Marc always says every villain is the hero in his story. So now we only hear about what a big threat he is but I don't really see it. I'm just supposed to believe Oliver and Malcolm. Malcolm on the other hand, I've seen him do unspeakable things.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry he'll appear suddenly with a sarcastic comment.
Oh nice interpretation. I'm going with that. Sins if the fathers would work again this season too.
ReplyDeleteOliver brought this shit upon himself with his OWN stupidity. He decided to not only to let Malcolm go back in episode 4 for incredibly stupid reason, but threatened war with freaking Ra's al Ghul to PROTECT Malcolm. The WHOLE REASON why Ra's is his enemy now is BECAUSE of Merlyn and his own idiocy. So good on TA for calling him out on it. And good on Thea for doing the smart thing and handing Merlyn over to Ra's.
ReplyDeleteI see it mainly because of his having an army of ninjas. Admitted killing of thousands. Malcolm's overwhelming fear of him. His curb stomp battle with Oliver. And my knowledge of him comic wise, but yeah he needs to have some on screen brutality soon. Well as the saying goes, the best villains believe they're the good guys. So soon hopefully we'll she Ra's do that type of stuff himself.
ReplyDeleteI speak Arabic and I'm telling you it's Ra's. Raysh sounds a lot like the word "feathers".
ReplyDeleteThe ONLY reason why Ra's is their enemy right now is BECAUSE Oliver told Nyssa that he'd fight to protect Merlyn. Ra's has NO personal grudge against any of them. So they only reason why they need to "team up" with Merlyn (which is stupid writing in an of itself) is because he manipulated all of them. "Hey your responsible for this whole mess, but instead of handing you over to Ra's, which would end this instantly, we're going to team up with you because we're idiots."
ReplyDeleteWeird. Oh right then. I may be wrong (though I actually always knew I was on this) but I just have stick with it. It just sounds better to me.
ReplyDeleteHe's powerful and he killed a lot of people I got that, as for the evil part I'm still waiting to see. You know "killing" Oliver was awful and traumatizing to watch but maybe it didn't make me hate him as much as I hate Malcolm because Oliver survived?
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that they haven't done anything yet to SHOW us that he won't make that distinction. The ONLY "proof" that we have that he'd still kill Thea is Malcolm's word, which means nothing. This could be solved really easily if they'd just have Ra's confirm that he wants Thea dead regardless of any context. It's really simple writers, do it already.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if the writer pronounces it "Raysh." He specifically identified it as an Arabic term, so it should be pronounced in the correct Arabic way. If he'd just used a different language or made one up, then it wouldn't be an issue, but he didn't. Plus "Raz" just sounds better imo.
ReplyDeleteNot to me man. But fair. I'm more bothered that they refuse to go one way on it. Switching between both. It'd be one thing if league members said Raysh and non said Ra's or vice versus but it just seems random.
ReplyDeleteIf it sounds easier for you then go with it.
ReplyDeleteWell, i always liked how Nyssa pronounces right and the others wrong... It's like a matter of accent.
ReplyDeleteYeah but then Chase said Rayish. So it's just weird at this point.
ReplyDeleteExactly, if you specified the language then use the right word.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, the only people who call him Raysh are the league members and Tatsu who I'm guessing learned the name from Maseo.
ReplyDeleteI personally LOVE Ra's al Ghul ^.^
ReplyDeleteMy knowledge of Ra's is basic. It's from what I have seen in Nolan verse and some articles on the internet. I understand the basic premise of his operation, his God like attitude and his thought process of killing innocents if needed be to kill an evil. But the problem here is in season 3 nothing like that has been translated on screen where as we see Malcolm doing all kind of nefarious stuff all season long. I had more fear of Ra's in early season 2 A when Sara came, then Nyssa was introduced in HttD. Now after Ra's is introduced in season 3 all his scenes even when he skewers ninjas and Oliver it gives this weird wise prophetic vibe than a big bad evil. Show me some brutality. Make him chop of the heads of some children so that I can agree with Oliver teaming up with Malcolm.
ReplyDeleteSO TRUE!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a good interpretation. Maybe they have plans to stretch Ra's to season 4 too once Malcolm is temporarily dealt with this season.
ReplyDeleteHe could be a series long threat.
ReplyDeleteCome on. Don't pour water on my guilty pleasure. I can't insult Laurel, Thea, Felicity or Oliver because some one always are there to defend them. Now Roy till now no one cares. ;)
ReplyDeleteExactly, you don't really expect them putting Ra's Al Ghul into the Lian Yu prison. He could very well be a constant thorn in Oliver's side.
ReplyDeleteNah. That would be Malcolm of they can get JB for that long.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Using both pronunciations is just bad writing. It's like they want to appease all parts of Ra's fandom. Just stick with one.
ReplyDeleteExactly. And killing Ra's in like 6 episodes just seams ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteNo JB could be like Lex Luthor to Superman and Ra's could be like Zod.
ReplyDeleteEven if they do temporarily kill him, one dip in his magical mystery hot tub and he's as good as new...
ReplyDeleteMaseo says it like Roz al Ghul though.
ReplyDeleteTeam Arrow.
ReplyDeleteAs did Al-Owal.
ReplyDeleteWe really need to get him that rubber duck soon. He's going to need it.
ReplyDeleteburning a village for finding one man, killing kids, kicking puppies... anything on screen and not done as an exposition.
ReplyDeleteHe is filled under "members of the league".
ReplyDeleteShe expected honesty from someone who is a psychotic killer. Anyone with two brain cells in their head would know to run the opposite direction when Malcolm Merlyn comes your way. There is no excuse for Thea to willingly going with him. I don't usually like victim blaming in traumatic conditions like what Thea is right now. But she was not drugged or lied to before her going with Malcolm. She had all the information in her hand to take an informed decision about Malcolm. Yet she chose to leave with him. If she wanted to be strong. She could have gone to a gym like Laurel did. Not go away with a mass murderer.
ReplyDeleteI think that might be part of the the point of this though, to as Jon has said basically just create a deal with devil type situation so Oliver could wallow in some weird morally ambiguous situation and come to the conclusion that he wants to be the man who doesn't work with men like Merlyn to defeat Ra's. That he wants to honour those he cares about. I think they could be setting up a his alliance with Merlyn causes huge problems for everyone because of what Ra's will do or Merlyn will story. I do hope and believe in 3x15 Ra's will definitively show how cruel he can be. Because Ra's is put it simply a magnificent bastard and a great villain when done right.
ReplyDeleteI'm aware, my point was that the writers seem to have said screw it let's make the pronouciation random as f*ck.
ReplyDeleteI still don't see that as justification for knowing that Malcolm would or even could brainwash you.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I want more madness and brutality from Ra's. I need more cruelty and I need him to be a clear physical presence from this episode onwards. No more show him one episode then forget him for next 3 and then again show a glimpse of him. He needs to be the part of the regular narrative. Last season I was disappointed Slade didn't do more chess moves to disturb Oliver's peace of mind before Moira's death. This season I want to feel the threat.
ReplyDeleteso suddenly Ra's knows Oliver is innocent? Does he also know it was Thea? because that's a whole new bag of trouble. even if she could convince Ra's that she had been drugged, I don't think Nyssa would spare her. not that I would mind.
ReplyDeleteWith exception for the Suicide Squad/Dyla Wedding episode, I think we'll be on full on League of Assassin stories now.
ReplyDeleteWho know, the League might even crash the wedding.
He didn't really believe Oliver in 3x09 but Oliver challenged him, that's why he fought him. I don't think he knows who the real killer is. I think he suspects Malcolm though.
ReplyDeletethat could work like Ra's willing to wipe out a entire country including killing head of state to find Merlyn but I not sure if there should be some personnel connection
ReplyDeleteI think it would interesting if the first half of season 4 dealt with the aftermath of the season 3 finale.....because there no way there is enough episode to have ra's be that big threat........AOS doing something similar continue with HYDRA but now switch to a newer threat the Inhumans......I think two seperate arcs would work
ReplyDeleteFirst Half-the league of assasin/ra's storyline and second half-HIVE
Damn ODA you want some soul crushing villainy. That's dark. I like it. I want that as well.
ReplyDeleteHey if Oliver is actually considering teaming up with Malcolm we also need to feel that he has no other choice but make a deal with the devil. Currently it feels like they are trying to show Oliver is making bad decisions to people who don't know Ra's extensive comic book history. We had personal vendetta villain in Slade and psychotic mass murderer in Malcolm. Both had personal attachment to Oliver. So there was an emotional connection and devastation from that in their interactions. Now here we have Ra's who is in no way connected to Oliver. He should be bigger and badder and really brutal for us to see him as better threats than other two. i want it so bad. Just rip off some heads and kill a bunch of people.
ReplyDeleteI hope the wedding won't be crashed. Poor Diggle. They already go for a SS mission before the wedding. That wedding will be filled with Oliver/Felicity/Ray Palmer angst... LOL
ReplyDeleteOh joy....my least favorite thing on the show.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they will. We've seen photos of Dig and Lyla after the wedding and they seem unharmed.
ReplyDeleteYaay love triangle angst, my favourite. Especially when it involves Ray.
ReplyDeleteNyssa's angry and Ra's is like whatever...chilling in his Laz pit.
ReplyDeleteLOL. I feel accomplished now. I have ruined the good mood of a non Olicity shipper and an Olicity shipper by this prediction. *evil laugh*
ReplyDeleteI already knew it would happen since what's his face is going to be there you just reminded me. You know, from afar you seem like a sweet rational person but there are layers of deviousness underneath the surfice hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI think we need a episode with some happy moments......before it getting worse
ReplyDeleteIt's one of those stupid contrivances, make Oliver stupid and have everyone yell at him. If Oliver just sat down for 20 minutes with Diggle and Felicity, they could work all this out.
ReplyDeleteRoy & Merlyn as they were creeping around while Thea had sex with him.
ReplyDeleteI guess you're right. As for Malcolm, it doesn't really matter if Ra's suspects him, the league is after him anyway.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned Malcolm since you asked if Ra's knows it was Thea. Ra's doesn't need more reasons to go after Malcolm. Just the look of pure evil in that man's eyes is reason enough.
ReplyDeleteWell, Chase was a League member who i believe came just to check on Merlyn. It's not like the others... Maseo also says "Rayish" because they're members. That how i see it.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm is long gone from the League for a bunch of years, so it's okay to pronounce it like the rest. It means he kind of lost the accent...
When the character was created the name was meant to be pronounced Rayish. Don't know if it's correct with the real arabic pronounciation. We are just telling that that's how the creators wanted him to be called, other characters call him Ras because they're not in touch with the "accent"...
ReplyDeleteWell it has been said the rest of the season will be crazy.
ReplyDeleteI love Stephen, but he can't even sell me on the crap party line that this season is about Oliver's identity anymore. It's been so lost in the miasma of confused storytelling with Ra's and Malcolm and now (goodie) absurd Nyssa--because gosh if all women on this show don't react with misplaced "kill whoever's nearest" anger whenever they are grieving.
ReplyDeletePlus, what is this Oliver gets an "opportunity" to face off against Ra's again? Um, what? Oliver was supposed to train, to learn, to get better. What'd he do ditch that idea and just add some buckles to his outfit? Because we learned while he was gone that actual skills and experience don't matter if you have buckles and sparkly leather. Ra's doesn't have any of that. Obviously, that's where Oliver went wrong the first time. He fought Ra's as himself, in cargo pants. If he'd put on a mask and buckles, he would have instantly become a major butt-kicking action star, master of any weapon, and capable of dodging bullets. Buckles makes you Neo.
I'm never going to be able to look at him the same again. He's going to be Big Bird from now on.
ReplyDeleteIt's redundant. Can't a single woman on this show deal with grief with any amount of rationality or is this what the writers honestly think of women?
ReplyDeleteRa's knew? Why should I even be surprised about that. Smh. Anddd why is Thea still so stupid?? Whyyy should I even be surprised about that. Smmfh!! In a sense I was looking for the...Speak the truth. She gains the brains. But nope!
ReplyDeleteAnd Stephen I love you but I couldn't watch the interview in that low volume. But I'll see you tonight. Xoxo
Haven't you noticed that they make woman in this show as over emotional? They react emotionally every time.
ReplyDeleteThey have a hard time writing woman, besides the casual funny one, like Felicity used to be before they tried to flesh her out more. And guess what happened when they tried to flesh out Felicity, irrational emotional mess.
Well that makes the rubber duck even more important now lol
ReplyDeleteHow is working with Malcolm an identity problem? It's a low iq thing!
ReplyDeleteNo they were in the next room in costumes having a drinking game while waiting for Thea to finish.
ReplyDeleteYep. They write terrible women. It is a horrible shame.
ReplyDeleteYep, double checked with a collegue who knows Arabic today and he says it's pronounced Raas, with a long sounding 'a'.
ReplyDeleteYup. The a' sounds like the a in after, in proper Arabic. And in the more common use it's pronounced Raas like the a in car.
ReplyDeleteWell, talking about overreacting... Malcolm loose his wife and wants to wipe out the Glades
ReplyDeleteThe creator is Dennis O'Neil in 1971 from Detective Comics #411 "Into the Lair of the Death Dealers". Its from the Arabic meaning The Demon's Head. It's pronounced Raws.
ReplyDeleteYour nitpicking something we already knew. Maseo went back to Nanda Pabrat after rescuing Oliver and told him. That's why he cut himself.
ReplyDeleteFinally a decent fighting sequence. I missed you!
ReplyDeleteNyssa losing another fight against Oliver? lol
ReplyDeletewhat in his brain thinks that's okay? even when Thea finally disowned Merlyn
