  1. Teasing? This seems like baiting to me.

  2. I guess this is the only non-spoiler dialogue they can give us.........

  3. HA! True. He's definitely playing to his audience.

  4. THAT BETTER NOT BE LAUREL TO OLIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm a rare Laurel and Oliver shipper and i wouldn't be able to handle that

  5. One is Felicity to Ray... Maybe they have sex or maybe she puts him to bed drunk style like Barry did to Caitlin.

The other one could be Felicity to Oliver, something tells me it's Laurel. I mean, she finds out Malcolm drugged Thea in order to make her kill Sara and Oliver wants to rescue him from Nanda Parbat... It would be really weird if she wasn't pissed at him for doing that, especially considering they were in a relationship.

  6. The Felicity quote is nice, because unless that's something she means to say it to Ray (or possibly Oliver, though unlikely) (or on babysitting duty for Sara, I guess), it means we have a bit of a return to accidental innuendo Felicity. I miss her. Ever since Oliver walked out at the end of The Climb, with the exception of the helicopter bit with Ray, accidental innuendo Felicity went away with happy, fun Felicity and was replace by sad, romantic dramatics Felicity. Which was fine during the Oliver Is Dead arc, but that's over now. I want happy Felicity back. With Oliver, with Ray, all by herself and awesome, I don't really care. Just bring back happy Felicity.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well, she has all the right to be mad at him considering what Malcolm did to her, Tommy, Sara and Thea(who she treats like a little sister); he still wants to go save him. It's something Laurel would say in the heat of the moment. Not biggie, I don't think it means anything, tbh. People say all kinds of s**t when it's pissed.

    ReplyDelete
  8. That would be nice. Any change would be nice, really. Arrow has reduced Felicity's character down to four main components - crying, complaining, arguing, and passive-aggressive sarcasm.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I wouldn't go that far, and I still love the hell out of her, but I think it's pretty clear that this show just does not know how to deal with their main love story, no matter who it is that Oliver is pining for. They've always have to make it way too dramatic. Why does Felicity have to change just because Oliver makes stupid decisions? It's frustrating. So I'm hoping that this is a small positive sign that they're going to have Felicity move on from the drama some and back to some of the happy, joke-y Felicity again. They're making her into a Felicity-ized version of pre-BC Laurel, and I don't want one of those. I just want a Felicity. That's the way I liked her, no messing about needed.

    ReplyDelete
  10. It's not that they don't know how to deal with it. Oliver in a healty romantic relationship could open a lot of stories for a character that is really introvert and is recovering his humanity(while loosing it in the flashbacks).

They don't know how to drag the story until getting them together, be it the end of Season 3 or Season 4 or Season 5. They want to drag the will they/won't they and are doing it in a not so good way... I'm sure quirky Felicity will come up at some point. Season 4 can't be this dark again.

The whole Season has been full frontal drama...

    ReplyDelete
  11. that's confusing, both quotes sound like it's something Felicity would say to Oliver, but they go in completely different directions.

Or maybe the second one is Oliver to Laurel, I always thought that of all his girlfriends (Sara, Shado, Felicity - and she was never actually his girlfriend) he seemed to care the least about Laurel despite they were together pretty long. And who could blame him?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think, with a few notable exceptions along the way, Felicity has been shrill and miserable for the bulk of season three and those categories I named have lamentably become the most prevalent attributes of her personality over that time frame. It's disheartening.

I agree with you about wanting the old Felicity back and I agree that Arrow has done a piss-poor job of handling this character's personal life. Furthermore, I too hope that there's a positive turnaround coming for her character because due to sub-par writing Felicity has become downright unpleasant at times and that sucks because I still like the character too.

  14. Fair. It could be the will they/won't they aspect that they struggle with, more than the actual characterization of the main love interest. I don't really care what it is, though. This season has just sort of been all over - some great episodes, but some really bad/confusing decisions, too. And this is one of the thing that has bugged me the most. Whatever reason this mess is happening, they really need to fix it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. but that's pretty scarring

    yeah it real

    ReplyDelete
  17. Shrill? When was she shrill? Miserable, though, I will give you. I'd still say it's been more these last five episodes than anything (and episode seven), but again, this may be an agree to disagree type situation. But I'm with you on everything else. And I have some hope, especially since a lot of the recent Felicity issues have come from or been related to the Malcolm storyline, so maybe that comes to a head in some fashion in this upcoming episode, for her if not in general. Crossing my fingers, because I need Arrow to pull out of it's current badly defined characters problem.

  19. Almost all the show's season 3 problems can be traced back to the Malcolm-Thea situation created in last season's finale. I get that this subplot has brought about a few positive developments but when weighed against all the negatives I just don't believe any of this has been worth it. The Malcolm-Thea debacle has infected every character and every storyline and has brought the whole show down.

There's only one negative aspect of the show that isn't traceable to that situation and it's Queen Consolidated. It turns out the only reason they took the company from Oliver was so they could shoehorn pointless Ray Palmer into the show.

Ugh. There's just so much of this season I want to throw on the scrap heap.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Laurel is known for being abrasive... It suits her. It's very possible it's her saying that in the heat of an argument. Don't think she regrets loving Oliver, thou.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Rolls eyes so hard"

    ReplyDelete
  22. So he is going to NP to save Malcolm so Thea wouldn't be responsible for his death?

    ReplyDelete
  23. True. It seemed like such a good idea at the time. We were all so excited to see what Thea training with Malcolm would bring. Not much good, apparently.

The other problem is a lack of focus, in my opinion. Before, with the Undertaking and Slade, there was always a clearly defined trajectory. This season lacked that, and it hurt as a result.

I'd have agreed with you about Palmer before, but now he's one of the only people that's occasionally fun now. I didn't like him much in the early part of the season, because pointless and stalker-like and crazy eyes like whoa, but he's at least served the function of lightening things up a little lately. But he's still pretty useless otherwise. Another thing I thought was going to be way better than it was at the beginning of the series was the Atom. It just would be nice if we could actually have the Atom, at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think Laurel is going to say that to Oliver when she finds out about Sara. And the first one is Felicity to Ray I think because he's working on the suit constantly and not getting any rest.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's a lot better than him saving Malcolm because he's her daddy.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I will always think that the organic thing was getting Oliver and Felicity together in 3x12, but the way tv works is really outdated. They need to drag the big stories until may sweeps(the final 3 episodes).

So how do you drag a relationship in wich Oliver said he loves her and you know she loves him? Well, they pull that weird thing they did in 3x12(granted, i expected Ray Palmer to be the third person... so i was pleased they weren't doing the cliché version of it) to drag them for a couple of episodes. And then? Well, maybe they put Ray and Felicity together for 4 episodes to drag it a bit more? Maybe until 3x22 or even 3x23, who knows?

It's tv world... A tv world with shows of 23 episodes that will have filler and will drag stories...

I'm more worried about things like "why make Ray and Felicity into a relationship?". Oliver and her are already apart because of Merlyn. Why not use the screentime between Ray and Felicity to give us some of Ray's backgrounds instead of using him as a Ken Boy doll... Because i'm starting to believe it's gonna be done just because "we have two hot people and it's a CW show and nobody had sex this season".

A Ray and Felicity relationship would be pointless right now, story wise...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ray holds no value to me but if he can successfully distract you from all the ridiculousness going on in the rest of the show then I guess he does hold some value to you. It's better than nothing, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks. :D And I'm not exactly a proponent of Ray's - I'll be just fine with him going after his episodes run out - but he's had a few funny moments lately, and there's been a dearth of those in the show. It's just me taking what I can get, since he's already here.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Let's pray that "It’s hard to imagine there was ever a time when I was in love with you." is Laurel to Oliver. That would make my day

I'm not saying that I hate Lauriver -though yes, it is trash- buuuut, with how things are happening, it would make the most sense for it to be Laurel, who else could it be?

    ReplyDelete
  30. With the shitty way Oliver treats Laurel most days, it should be her saying it to him.

    ReplyDelete
  31. No way it's Felicity, she is definitely still in love with Oliver; presumption of the opposite even would be unbelievable.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm so pumped about this ep, but so I was about Uprising and look how crappy that went down.
I hope those guys won't let me down, I really hope so!
Either way a bunch of interesting quotes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So who is saying it to whom in your opinion?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Again, true. I've always hated assumption that characters can't be in relationships. It's the drama of keeping them apart, or spending too much time focusing on them rather than keeping them mostly as background to the main story, that gets tiring. Sure, some shows can't handle couples getting together, or the storyline of them together just doesn't flow right even if the writers are trying their best to make it work, but that's true of any storyline you try; it's not exclusive to romantic ones. In my opinion, your best options are jump all the way in or get away from the water. Nobody wants to watch you wade in and out and in and out and in and out - that's annoying. If your show is not built around that in some way - like Castle, for example, and I think even they took that about a season too far - then don't start down a shipping road you don't intend to keep following, not unless you have a fantastic reason for turning back around. It's far worse than just not going there in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh my god, we just agreed on something else :')

A lot of people think that it's Felicity who says it, but that makes no sense because she's never told Oliver that she loved him. It would be beyond shitty if she told him that just to mess with him. So yeah. Not Felicity.

Plus, coming from Laurel it sounds sassy because it makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow, season 2 and 3 must've been /rough/ for you :/

    ReplyDelete
  37. Season 1 wasn't much better.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Okkk, wow! I've got some guesses here. Let's get to it....

-Felicity's line...I have no clue. I would love to say Charlotte though, just to humor myself.
-The second line, I have no clue! Laurel to Oliver? Oliver to Laurel? I have No idea. That's tough.
    3) Laurel to Dinah?
    4)Thea to Laurel?
    5) (Already said my answer for that)
    6)Oliver
    7)Nyssa to Oliver
    8)Nyssa to Oliver (About Malcolm)
    9)Diggle to Oliver?
    10)Diggle to Oliver.
11)Ugh! Dare i say Ray to Felicity? (Hope i'm wrong)
    12)Thea? Oliver?

Yeahh those are my guesses. I think i could probably have at least 6 right. We'll see. Shrugs.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Haha, I was about to say the same thing. That he and I actually agree on something. I haven't looked at these comments yet, I just put my guesses down and posted. But wtf? Why would people think it's Felicity? That's dumb. My very first immediate thought was Laurel to Oliver, or Oliver to Laurel with that one. Anyone else wouldn't make the least bit of sense. = /

QUOTE: “You don’t own a jet anymore.” Felicity to Oliver

QUOTE: “Sometimes I forget we just work together.” you know keeping up with angst this could very well be Felicity to Oliver when he makes the decision to save Malcolm without taking anyone's opinion.

QUOTE: “Maybe I am a killer — maybe that is the real me.” Thea or Oliver

    ReplyDelete
  41. yeah it's been pretty hard the pat 3 seasons

    ReplyDelete
  42. My guess is that's Laurel to Oliver. He has always been on the shitty side of friendship with her for the last two seasons, and now that he wants to go rescue Merlyn, now KNOWING he is responsible for Sara's death -I'm sure she won't be blaming Thea- she will be SALTY AS FUCK with him.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am waiting for the day their shittiness translates to banter, but Ollie is such an humorless fuck most of the time, I hope the writers make him able to experience joy someday soon.

I'm loving when Laurel snips at him "Was my form off?" I so want Ollie to actually rise to the challenge and have some fun!

    ReplyDelete
  44. "I always thought that of all his girlfriends (Sara, Shado, Felicity - and she was never actually his girlfriend) he seemed to care the least about Laurel despite they were together pretty long."

They were dating for quite a while when Oliver "died", they were moving in together. So if that doesn't mean that she was actually his gf, I don't know what does.

Also, did we forget season 1 flashbacks to the island? I think writers did, but Oliver stated multiple times that Laurel was what was keeping him alive in the island and the idea of seeing her again. He kept her picture in the island and stare at that picture non stop, so much that the poor picture was almost falling apart.

That quote is most likely to be Laurel to Oliver for the way that he has been treating her, not only recently but almost since he is back.

    ReplyDelete
  45. "never actually his gf" refered to Felicity. And still, from what we've seen on the show he cares a lot more about her than he ever did about Laurel. at least that's my impression. so he looked at her picture - that doesn't really compare to actually contact with Shado and Sara. and as far as I can tell, it could just as well been a photo of anyone else reminding him of his life in Starling.

    ReplyDelete
  46. OMG I just thought of something.
Remember when Nyssa visited Sara's grave, she promised to avenge her. What if Sara really came back and “I promised you vengeance, so take it.” is from Nyssa to Sara??!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. “Maybe I am a killer — maybe that is the real me.” >> I think it's Thea, and they're gonna take her to a dark path...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Oh Sweetie!! You ship Laurel/Oliver and Barry/Caitlin Tough times ahead for you. Hold on!! It's tv anything can happen.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah, she will see him and be worried he's down the same path as Oliver(u know, stop living cause of the hood) and tries to prevent that. If that leads to sex, who knows? Feels really out of place in this episode, tbh... They will take you from the action of Nanda Parbat to them and i'll be like "oh, it's again Ray and Felicity? Well, go back to Nanda Parbat!".

They way they made Ray's story feels too much forced into the story so far... 3x01 and 3x02 and 3x07 were his best episodes. If the story isn't about him, why is he there? It would be better to have 2 full episodes center on Palmer, like they did with Barry and then let him go...

  51. The first tweet from Marc - Felicity to Ray

The second - Felicity to Oliver

“I promised you vengeance, so take it.”, “Vengeance is justice.” - Ra's al Ghul

“You shouldn’t even speak to me.” - Laurel(or Quentin)

"I hate boats.”, “You don’t own a jet anymore.” - Diggle

“Malcolm Merlyn will never be seen again.” - Thea

'You can’t save Thea’s soul if it costs you your own.” - Felicity

“Maybe I am a killer — maybe that is the real me.” - Oliver

“Sometimes I forget we just work together.” - I have no clue.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well, that's a problem of the writers... Tbh, i think the reason quite a lot of people didn't like Lauriver(myself included) was not only for the toxic past(more suited for a show like Gossip Girl) but because they never shown us why they were in love. Flashabcks were supposed to show us why they were soulmates. Instead, everything I got(and it's a personal opinion) it's that he was a total jack**s and she was in love with an idea(I still can't pass they made Laurel, a very strong woman, say "i have this five years plan, bla bla bla", Sara going "but he's not good to you" and Laurel going "can't you be happy for me?", like she didn't care he cheated on her if she got to be his wife).

All i got is that he didn't actually care too much about her and all the things post-island were out of guilt, about trying to fix thigns... because making everything like it was would have fixed the past(wich isn't true). That's why(before Olicity) i liked Oliver with McKenna, since it was a relationship about the future and not fixing the past.

It's not about the stupid chemistry(wich is subjective), it's just like GermanShipper said, we never got to see Oliver caring about Laurel on a romantic level. And it's all bad writing... that's the cause.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The “Maybe I am a killer — maybe that is the real me.” could also be Thea.
I think the comment about the boats is Oliver,
Other than that I think you're correct.
The last one could be Felicity to Oliver (or reverse) or Ray to Felicity,

    ReplyDelete
  54. Also Oliver was horrible with her in S2 so I'm glad she is finally giving him a taste of his own medicine.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think Oliver deserves all that crap. He has been a horrible friend since season 2 and he still treats Laurel like an idiot despite the fact she has showed she can take care of herself and Roy, Diggle and Felicity trust her.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The killer one, you're probably right. I could see Thea thinking this and maybe that's why she contacted the League to take Merlyn. I think the boats line though, is too much of comedy gold to really be said by Oliver. Usually Diggle has those hilarious one-liners.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yes! And i hope i don't come up sexist by saying this, but we guys are idiotic monkeys and we would hook up with a girl just because she's hot, if given the chance.
But i will never get why would Laurel would still be in love with him, honestly. She is a beautiful woman and if she wants to have some "fun", she could pick whoever she wants... Why would it be Oliver, a person that has been horrible to her?
So, right now, if Laurel goes all "i love you" to Oliver that would be speaking bad for her because she's still dependant on this man that treated really, really bad and keeps doing that because there's just too much bad blood there.
I don't want to say Felicity, so let's look at Helena. They met post-island and with her it was a clean slate, he didn't need to deal with crappy history.

I always said, i don't understand how on Earth Laurel is still speaking to Oliver. Would it be another person, she might had punched him in the face and move to another town. I'M ALL IN AT LAUREL STANDING UP AND BASHING HIM, HE DESERVES IT. Just because he lived 5 years of hell, that doesn't erase all the hurtful things he did to her.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I still find it stupid. Why would he risk his life to save Malcolm? Just to prevent from being responsible for his death? He was the one who caused the mess they are in!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Buddy, someone who saw the episode already on the screening(Laurel Brown) said "if the episode is anti-Olicity, it's even more anti-Lauriver".

So be prepared... It doesn't look good. Don't know why you like them, but it sucks when they bring your ship down(happened to me in a few shows) like they're doing with them.

For me i, what they did in 3x14 was a diservice. At that time Oliver was supposed to want to fix things with Laurel, yet they put an Olicity scene. I like Oliver and Felicity, but that felt out of context and bad writing, like if they wanted to re-write the things in Season 1.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I didn't say it was a good decision I just said that it was better, but they're both still dumb reasons.

    ReplyDelete
  61. He's been baiting the Olicity shippers and people who want O/D/F back all season.

The latest one was when someone asked if there were Olicity scenes coming up, he told them not to watch 3x15.
