Thanks to arrowshieldfan for the heads up.
- When ARGUS provides security, ARGUS really provides security.
- Even Malcolm doesn’t see the League when they come for him.
- Nyssa al Ghul shares a story about Sara laughing that may just make you shed a tear.
- Although Laurel wants to make amends, her father is still not returning her calls.
- Diggle’s home life and wedding plans have an unexpected effect on his work with Oliver.
- An awful lot of things will change by the time “Nanda Parbat” comes to an end. Big things.

"When ARGUS provides security, ARGUS really provides security." hmmm can't tell if it's a flashback scene or not.
ReplyDelete"If you like fight scenes, this episode should be a lot of fun for you. There are a few. Some are more one-sided than others." gimme gimme gimme
"Diggle’s home life and wedding plans have an unexpected effect on his work with Oliver." OMG how will the team carry on without him talking to them on the comms?!!!!
"An awful lot of things will change by the time “Nanda Parbat” comes to an end. Big things." I believe you but ARE THEY GOOD THINGS OR STUPID THINGS?
Too much teasing for this episode.. I hope it's good.
ReplyDeleteIs there possible way to hope that Oliver brings ARGUS as backup to Nanda Parbat?
ReplyDeleteThat would be the clever and rational thing to do, so NO!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me that doesn't quite understand the direction that they are taking with the season since they came back after Christmas? I don't understnd Oliver's need to defend Malcolm? He turned his sister into a killer. She wants nothing to do with him. This supposed training that Malcolm was supposed to give Oliver to defend against Ra's, what happened to that? Thea and Oliver went to the island so that Slade could be released to see if Oliver would kill him. At the moment I'm becoming very indifferent to what's going on with the show. I hope this episode changes that.
ReplyDeleteI NEED TO SEE PALMER AS THE ATOM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete2. yeah, as we seen last week where Slade escaped from an ARGUS prison - super max security my ass.
ReplyDelete8. and rightfully so. what Laurel did was horrible.
10. please let Laurel die, pretty please *puppy dog eyes* - but seriously, that seems like a huge overstatement.
ARGUS vs League of Assassins - my money is on the league.
ReplyDeleteYou really think Laurel is going to die? That they would kill the person that they have said is BC since the start?
ReplyDeletePsyched.
ReplyDeleteThey're not going to kill Laurel. What they could do, and it would actually help the character, is have her disappear for a while. Have her leave Starling to train with someone. When she comes back she can be a better fighter and a better character.
ReplyDeleteNormally I hate off-screen character development but Laurel is too far gone to fix onscreen.
when do you think the show will introduce Checkmate. This season or in a later season?
ReplyDeleteI always figured Oliver going to Nanda Parbat had something to do with that video Malcolm had of Thea killing Sara. I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about it if it's something as weak as wanting to "save Thea's soul" because he doesn't want her to be responsible for Malcolm's death. It's just so incredibly stupid - I guess that's why that's probably going to be the reason. I'm gonna need him to take more backup than Diggle, especially since Diggle's married to an ARGUS badass, but I feel like that might be too much to ask from the show at this point.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice thought, Oliver wanting to protect Thea, but I'm getting really tired of him and others trying to shield her from the truth and the consequences of the decisions she makes. Plus, Oliver's worried about Ra's coming for Thea, and he'd rather take a chance on her dying than her having to live with the knowledge that she turned a man over who a) was responsible for the death of 503 people including HIS OWN SON, and b) drugged her into killing someone to save his own ass. Seems like the right thing to do to me - Malcolm knew what he was getting into with Ra's when he started planning the Undertaking.
I really like Oliver generally speaking, and I'm rooting for him on his hero's journey, but I'm gonna need him to stop behaving like a huge dumbass pretty much any time now. I really think that bringing Malcolm back was the biggest mistake - the idiotic character choices required to fit him into the plot are the absolute worst.
Or Diggle - he's married to a higher up at ARGUS, and surely he'll tell her where he's going and what he's up to? You'd think she'd send some backup along whether they asked for it or not. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteNot sure they will introduce it at all. ARGUS is their version of Checkmate.
ReplyDelete2. ARGUS security.. LMAO.. Something which can't hold Malcolm Merlyn
ReplyDelete3. Yay!!
7. Sounds like fun times in Palmer Technologies
8. Laurel and Quentin thing is still annoying for me. Unnecessary melodrama
9. Diggle's home life has an effect on his work with Oliver - Hahaha.. How much work he does looking into computer screens LOL
For all my whining and childish tantrums I am super excited for this episode. I hope it live up to the expectations. I am kind of happy all three ladies Felicity, Laurel and Thea (honorary member Nyssa) are completely against Malcolm. Women power!!!
I wish the folks handing out these types of teasers would refrain from using phrases like "game changer", "big things", "shock you" etc. Actually, I think I'll stop reading these types of posts. They only set me up for disappointment.
ReplyDeleteWhat I am looking forward to is Thea being proactive in dealing with Malcolm. That sounds like fun.
Lol the league would own them. It'd be such a curb stomp. Though I doubt Waller would sanction it.
ReplyDeleteI'm well aware that there's basically no chance of that happening, but if the writers are smart they will kill her off rather sooner than later. Who cares if she is the black canary? the show doesn't need a canary, it doesn't need Laurel and it doesn't need Katie Cassidy - she just ruins every scene she's in.
ReplyDeleteAs for the puppies, you must be a sick person to write something like that.
I'd take it. Less Laurel, better show. But I doubt off-screen development can save the character. Maybe if she gets in a horrible accident and needs facial reconstruction (aka a new actress)
ReplyDeleteAssuming Waller would okay it. Which I doubt.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is your opinion, for instance I like BC and I like how BC stories are connected to GA. Since this show is about GA, it makes sense to have a BC.
ReplyDeleteJust because the people that like Laurel/BC are not screaming after each episode, does not mean that they do not exist and are part of the viewership of the show.
people who like Laurel are certainly a minority. and I hardly doubt anyone would stop watching the show if Laurel would get what she deserves. I'm sure most people would agree with me that it would make the show better. of course that's all hypothetical as the people in charge of the show are way to stubborn to drop a character that's just not working and a horrible actress.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I love Brandon Routh but that has been the absolute weakest part of this season. He's connected to literally one character and has zero connection to any plots outside of his own. You could cut him out of the show after his first appearance and it would have zero impact on the story.
ReplyDeleteIt's also annoying that they've turned The Atom into a knockoff Iron Man because they weren't allowed to use Ted Kord/Blue Beetle.
Good for her.
ReplyDeleteARGUS wouldn't even officially have to get involved though. Don't you think Lyla might dispatch a few agents who owe her a favor just for backup for her husband? She's been running things this year, surely she has the ability to do that.
ReplyDelete"10. An awful lot of things will change by the time “Nanda Parbat” comes to an end. Big things."
ReplyDeleteI do NOT want to be disappointed with the episode's supposed "big twist" and "game changer".
"8. and rightfully so. what Laurel did was horrible."
ReplyDeleteMy my, how quickly we forget that Quentin is guilty of the exact same thing, he did keep the fact that Sara was alive from her in season 2.
Everything that is to put Laurel in bad light, is used against her. But when other character do the same, then it's ok. People are very selective.
ReplyDeleteWith Waller in charge, she'd probably fire enough missiles to destroy Nanda Parbat with Oliver still in the blast zone.
ReplyDeletethat's hardly the exact same thing. mostly because being alive and being dead are the exact opposites. Also Sara asked Lance to keep it a secret. And even if you think it's wrong, doesn't change the fact that Laurel's behaviour, especially talking to him as "Sara", was downright horrible.
ReplyDelete1) Interesting enough for me. I have a thing about liking security from high powered Organizations.
ReplyDelete2) Idc if Malcolm doesn't see the league, i just want him to see Ra's.
3)Missing Sara alone makes me want to cry. Nyssa doesn't need to tell a story for that. But I love Nyssa, so share away.
4) Hahahaha, well DUH! Idk what's so "teaser" about that. He wasn't gonna be like, "ok baby, all is forgiven, let's go for coffee." Smh Next...
5) "Unexpected effect on his work with Oliver." What's that mean? Thought Diggle had that all worked out? Hmmm idk If i like that. A little worried about that.
6) "Big things" Well i'll decide that when the episode is over, won't keep my hopes up.
It's the exact same thing. Keeping information about one family member from another that deserves to know. Only as @lilah_lilah said you come up with all these mitigating circumstances for Quentin but fail to see the one's for Laurel out of character bias. For instance after seeing the horrible mean drunk that Quentin was the first time, nobody should blame Laurel for not wanting a repeat of that.
ReplyDeleteso is it okay no to keep such information or not? if you think it's the same, you need to make up your mind. I understand Laurel's reasons, I just don't accept them. For Quentin on the other hand he did as Sara asked. and if anyone has the right to decided who gets to know about Sara, it's Sara. Not Laurel.
ReplyDeleteThere is no right or wrong, they are both equally bad offenders. Doing the wrong thing for good reasons, just the same as Oliver is doing.
ReplyDeletewell depend how high you expectation is......I think producer have mention it hopes to memorial game changer twist for a long time with the likes of Lost, GOT, Buffy, etc
ReplyDeleteI agree. I haven't been able to understand Oliver's decisions recently. Hopefully this episode will make sense of everything. If not, we'll be left with a lot of WTF for the next few weeks while on hiatus
ReplyDeleteHow? No one said they would fight hand-to-hand. ARGUS may suck at prisons, but Amanda can more than make up for that with firepower. I still think Ra's versus drone is a pretty one-sided.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, she could blow up Ollie. Maybe that's why he brings Dig...so Lyla will ensure they get out before Amanda sends in the drones???!?!??!
ReplyDeleteLOL. You guys are funny. You think on such small scales.
