  1. Oh boy this episode. Excited for Tommy`s return!!!

I have to say I know Merlyn taught Thea but if she puts up a big fight against Slade I will roll my eyes lol.

  2. That Thea & Slade still? Jesus, show i hope you are not gonna try to tell us that Thea can take on Slade.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I guess Diggle and Felicity will be in the flashbacks as well

    ReplyDelete
  4. I don't think there's a reality where Thea doesn't end up dead in hand-to-hand combat with Slade.

    ReplyDelete
  5. that would be fun

    ReplyDelete
  6. Seriously? Thea against Slade? Hand to hand combat at that? I am rolling my eyes here.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I wouldn't worry about slade vs thea it probably nothing but Thea wanting revenge

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh, boy! This looks awesome! :O

Tommy's back! Slade's back! Merlance is back! The Island is back!

    ReplyDelete
  9. And felicity?? Where is she???

    ReplyDelete
  10. Tommyyyyyyyyyy
I didn't realize that I actually missed seeing Oliver on the island.
Seriously Thea fighting Slade and wining? And isn't he in his cell?
    It looks awesome though.

  11. Really looking forward to this episode! Thea and Ollie being stuck on Lian Yu with Slade (those scenes will be incredible), Flashbacks of Ollie in Starling City checking up on his family, Tommy (looking good!), and Laurel. There's a lot of potential here for it be one of the best episodes Arrow has ever done.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'll believe she will make an appearence in the flashbacks, like a cameo. Diggle too. What would she do on a flashback or in the island? It's better not to force characters...

Maybe Oliver and Maseo see her or get some kind of help from her? And when Oliver goes "they told me you were the one to help me" on 1x03 was a lie, he already knew what she could do...

Other than that... I don't think we'll see her. And it's for the best... The worst they could do is to make a "Oliver sees Felicity and smiles without even knowing her" because at that point in the flashbacks Oliver was still hanging from the idea of Laurel.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't think she wins... She will try, fail, Ollie will come, defeat Slade and she will try to kill him... Pictures could be misleading. Just because she throws a punch at him doesn't mean he won't punch her hard in the head 2 seconds after blocking her try xD

    ReplyDelete
  14. I don't want that either. They made a big deal about the first time Oliver saw her in her office. If he already knew her before it'll ruin that scene for me.

    ReplyDelete
  15. First flashbacks I'm actually looking forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  16. And don't call him by that name again :/

    ReplyDelete
  17. Sorry, comic reflex when i'm writing fast(You may see me write Seattle instead of Starling also...) Jajajaja.

    ReplyDelete
  18. it will just give the Olicity fans what they want! Felicity in flashback where she has no relation to Oliver......maybe it better she don't appear

    ReplyDelete
  19. It would make no sense Jajajaja I would be ok with Maseo maybe getting some help from her without knowing and tells Oliver there's a girl in your company that's quite good or some s**t like that... So he would remember and go sees her personally for the first time.

That's as much as i can handle... Hope she doesn't appears at all, tbh.

  20. Hmm. One where Malcolm took Thea after she was born (he knew about her birth in this universe) and had her trained from birth in the league.

    ReplyDelete
  21. how the hell did Slade get out of the cell

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well let's type slower then :/

    ReplyDelete
  23. They can cross paths but I don't want it to be a big deal

    ReplyDelete
  24. What if Merlyn and Slade have a deal, he delivers Thea closure with Slade letting himself take out by her or something? Minus the death thing (blank bullets)

    ReplyDelete
  25. And that's the second word I forbid you to use lol

    ReplyDelete
  26. Maybe Malcolm lets him out and send Oliver and Thea to stop him in some sort of twisted training session? xD

    ReplyDelete
  27. Still no. Not unless, in this universe you've created, Slade is a librarian.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I just can't catch a break, am i? Jajajaja

    ReplyDelete
  29. If he throws a book like the Odissey at her he could beat her... Words are the mightest weapon!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Without Mirakuru yes. With Mirakuru no.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Since that's 18 years of training and experience with the league. At least.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Can we talk about how Slade doesn't have a beard that would put both Dumbledore and Gandalf to shame?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Given that she's appearing on Flash the following week, it may have purposely been scheduled that she's absent from the episode so as to not burn out Emily. Similar to her being limited to an Arrow cameo appearance when she first guest starred on Flash

    ReplyDelete
  34. There's a barber shop on Lian Yu. That and dude it would take far longer to grow a beard like that than a year.

    ReplyDelete
  35. No amount of time or training negates the fact that Thea is five foot nothing and 90 pounds up against a brick wall like Slade Wilson with special forces training.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I was just making my usual stupid comment xD

    ReplyDelete
  37. She shoot Flash's 1x18 while shooting Arrow's 1x17... It's not for that. It's just because of the story: it doesn't make sense she's there...

    ReplyDelete
  38. If there isn't a scene where Oliver and Thea visit Robert's grave, I deem this episode a failure. Because wow, that moment would be amazing

    ReplyDelete
  39. She is not appearing on the flash next week.

    ReplyDelete
  40. It always amazed me that Oliver hair grew but Slade's never did lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. By then, Oliver had been sleeping with Shado and later Sara so he wasn't still hung up on Laurel.

I'm not happy about the "love letter to fans" having so little Diggle and Felcity but I guess it can't be helped.

    ReplyDelete
  42. There's supposed to be a scene Olicity fans will love.

Maybe she does something and Oliver is impressed even though he doesn't see her..

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'll to see Slade but I'm already tired of Thea, Malcolm and Laurel.

At this point, I just want a bit of a break and have the old show back for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I bet that's about some talk Oliver has with Slade... I just think that seeing her in the flashbacks would be to forced.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'd really like to trade Malcolm for Slade right now. Oliver trains with Slade and Katana. That would be awesome. Oliver looking like Thea's classmate is just offensive.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oliver training wit Slade would actually make some sort of sense but Sadly the writers are to invested in redeeming Malcolm.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Sad thing is, is that there are a lot of people who think that Oliver teaming up with Malcolm was the right thing to do. I just don't get it :p

    ReplyDelete
  48. yeah, slade is back. great character. I still hope he will come around eventually and join the good guys (not as a regular though)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh give me a break Guggenheim.

    ReplyDelete
  50. the point of training with Merlyn is to defeat Ra's. only the student
can hope to defeat the master. slade wasn't trained by the league of
assassins. also he already trained oliver (as seen in the flashbacks)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Do you see the photo where they holding a flashlight and standing in front of rocks. I think that's Robert's grave.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah, um, that logic is moronic. It is just the reason the writers gave us so that people would stop saying train with Katana. "Merlyn knows how to defeat Ra's." Sure he does, that's why he enacted a complicated plan to drug your sister and kill Sara so you'd fight Ra's for him. If Malcolm had any inside line into defeating Ra's he'd have used it already. What a student learns from a master is what a master already knows.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I didn't realize I actually missed Slade. I was like "Hey Slade, wanna come back and at least have a plan that makes sense? I mean your motivations are weaksauce, but solid plans, baby."

    ReplyDelete
  54. The shot with Slade on the ground and her holding a gun on him makes me think differently.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oliver is makes don't shoot him, calm down motions with his hands.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hahahaha I am this close to missing Ivo he had better plans than Malcolm lol

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oliver and Slade fights while Thea stands up after being beaten and picks up the gun... Doesn't mean she defeats him. It's just that she's pointing the gun,..

    ReplyDelete
  58. Always possible. Wishful thinking doesn't usually go very well with me and Arrow, but yeah, anything is possible.

    ReplyDelete
  59. There's probably a few present day Starling scenes. This pictures just show the main stuff. Only way Felicity or Diggle would be in a flashback would be a cameo.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Slade looks so creepy in that one shot, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Well Slade is without Mirakuru and could possibly be so drained out without the drug that he's lived off of for half a decade.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh I know. That's why I made the barber shop one. But I gotta say man Santa beard is the way to go.

    ReplyDelete
  63. True, but that 90 pound girl has the training and experience to kill him.

    ReplyDelete
  64. If the league were to train her (or any actual reputable organization that trains people in this manner), one of the first things they'd tell her is when you're up against someone who has severe advantages in height, weight, and wingspan don't get sucked into hand to hand combat because you'll lose.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Didn't say hand to hand dude. Plus where is the preparation in that? If you're gonna be a elite killer you have to know how to take on those bigger or stronger than you in a fight, whether it be through deception, weaponry or hand to hand. Though to be honest I think it'd be very, very close.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The Slade/Thea interaction should be really interesting after all this time.

    ReplyDelete
  67. The hand-to-hand stipulation was the crux of the discussion we've been having.

I said "I don't think there's a reality where Thea doesn't end up dead in hand-to-hand combat with Slade." And you posited a scenario where you believed otherwise. Hand-to-hand has been at the center of this from the beginning. If it wasn't, what have we been talking about this whole time?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Quentin with hair, Thea with hair. so much hair!!! I wish they had made laurel the old brunette too some how. Laurel looks so much different from the pilot episode now. Is that Diggle Oliver passing by in the streets of Starling? So we will see Felicity in Oliver's orbit too. Sweet!

Slade sure looks creepy. He is going to taunt them both by talking about Moira. The handsome devil. To see Thea fighting Slade is ridiculous. Willa's hands are so small compared to Manu's.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Honestly? I imagined hand to hand, but more of a she wins by using a weapon thing after a struggle.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Marc said she will be there.

    ReplyDelete
  71. well, it's the logic the show decided to go with. I don't think it's completely absurd. While Merlyn might not be able to be defeat Ra's, he could have some insight on him that could help Oliver if he were to face him again.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Just because that is the writers' reason they didn't use Katana doesn't mean I need to agree with it. But you are right, Malcolm *could* have some insight. Or he could continue offering excellent gems like "Ra's preys on your fears." Ra's defeated Oliver in a flat out sword fight. If anyone preyed on Oliver's fears it was Malcolm when he manipulated him into fighting Ra's in the first place.
