I was about to say something similar. Clearly asians don't care about spoilers. I'm surprised DC hasn't seen someone from the league of assasins to warner tv offices lol
You maybe right about this one. Do you think the episode will have some kind of a twist and Oliver's reasons won't be so infuriating? I need to believe that Oliver is not that dumb!!! I need a reason besides these sudden daddy issues he's projecting on Malcolm!
I sincerely hope there is a satisfactory (or at least a passable) explanation. If you believe the producers, the show gets really crazy with a lot of twists but I've heard that before. I just hope the reasoning behind all this won't make me want to pull my own hair out.
If John Barrowman is to be believed, he says Oliver won't kill Malcolm because he doesn't want for Thea to be an orphan like him, having lost both Robert and Moira.
Well, i never said that was a logical reason Jajajaja i think the whole, "let's do everything Malcolm says" is stupid... They're trying to redeem a character that can't be, so they're going to be A LOT of inconsistencies in the story...
It doesn't bother me that the Asia promos more often than not reveal a major spoiler or two. We know this from experience, so everyone that watches them shouldn't get outraged when a major bombshell or two are revealed. You always have the option of not watching it.
Trust Asia promo to give us the correct synopsis of the episode. Bless them. If we didn't learn from last two promos we never will. LOL.
Great to see Slade back. So Thea knows at last. I hope to God it is Oliver who tells her the complete secret. Why on earth is Oliver going to Nanda Parbat to save Malcolm then? WTH Oliver? Even Thea does not want to do anything with him.
The twist will be Malcolm is working with Ra's all along trying to bring Oliver down so that Ra's can control Starling as a payment to his defection to the league. But he does love Thea a bit. Nyssa and Sara was unaware of the plot. So after this episode Nyssa will go against Ra's along with Oliver. It's my wishful thinking.
I hope that Thea finds out through Oliver. If she doesn't, I hope she gets angry at him for not telling her the truth (at least a simple: "How could you not tell me the dude I've been hanging around mind raped me and made me into a killer, bro?"). I hope she lays it on him for teaming up with a man who made her a murderer. I HOPE. But I don't trust the writers.
From the looks of it I don't think they would. I would like it to happen. Oliver deserves to be told off for letting her hang around Malcolm clueless after he knew the truth.
Oh I agree. I don't think what he feels for Thea is paternal love at all. No body with even slight fatherly feelings would ever do what Malcolm did. What I meant was in his mind he loves Thea and everything he does is for her good. So if the above scenario works there might come a time when Thea's life is in danger at the hands of some league operative like Chase and Malcolm will save her. Writers like to keep Merlyn ambiguous. A villain with a sliver of conscience.
We can guess from here to the finale and we may never guess what's really going to happen. My only hope is whatever happens, offers a plausible explanation that won't leave me fuming!
Please look at my reply to Koky below :) I think they will always show Merlyn doing bad things then he will turn around and do one good thing for Thea. Then he will go back to manipulating her, Oliver and everyone else. His relationship with Thea is always going to be ambiguous.
It most probably will be infuriating and wouldn't make much sense. Then in the last four episodes they will bring the show back on track and close the season on a high. Then we as audience will start salivating and dreaming for season 4. It's a vicious circle.
He is a weird character. In his mind he loves Thea. But we know no one who loves their daughter would do anything like he did. So in the future we can expect him doing favors or even save Thea but he will always be a snake.
Writers, John Barrowman, I don't know lol xD I've been trying to figure that out too, especially now, also because I'd think that Oliver would know deep inside that this did all start with Malcolm being a selfish coward that pulled them into this forcefully so that he didn't have to face Ra's, so I don't really understand how supposedly Malcolm is supposed to be able to train Oliver to beat him.
But let's HOPE really badly that Oliver tells her, maybe because of what Slade says, it would kinda make sense, a lot actually, and after last ep, I would really love it to god if we just kept along the logical route instead of the: 'How can we "surprise" people with some weird unbelievable twist again?' x'D
I hope Thea continues to not want to do anything with him, but you are right, it's still weird, but I just don't know what they're basiing this logic on. It would be a lot more logical if now that Thea knows and doesn't want Malcolm to be her father anymore (FINALLY!) Oliver would support that with open arms and just try to figure out another way.
looks like Thea now gets her reason for her sudden change of heart. I thought it was very weird that she suddenly didn't like/trust Merlyn anymore last week. anyway, can't wait for Slade, he's awesome.
I hope so for a long time. But Thea has gone through so much. I think she will always be confused about him. I hope I am wrong. But I think that's what they are aiming for.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Asia promo. Never failing with the huge spoilers lol.
ReplyDeleteI was about to say something similar. Clearly asians don't care about spoilers. I'm surprised DC hasn't seen someone from the league of assasins to warner tv offices lol
ReplyDeletewell, that gave pretty much everything that ep was supposed to be.
ReplyDeletekiller or hero?
Major Spoiler
ReplyDeleteGuess she finds out
ReplyDeleteDon't....don't.....
ReplyDeletedon't tell me THEA FREAKING MERLYN kills Slade Wilson.
How did she find out? I want Oliver tobe the one to tell her. But if she knows, then why is Oliver riskibg his life to save Malcolm in 3x15?
ReplyDeleteDon't bother trying to make logical sense of that 3.15 synopsis. It can't be done.
ReplyDeleteYou maybe right about this one. Do you think the episode will have some kind of a twist and Oliver's reasons won't be so infuriating? I need to believe that Oliver is not that dumb!!! I need a reason besides these sudden daddy issues he's projecting on Malcolm!

ReplyDeleteHear, hear
ReplyDeleteOliver doesn't want to give Ra's a chance to get the truth from Malcolm about Sara death
ReplyDeleteIt could be. But I think Thea is already on Ra's radar because she's Malcolm's daughter.
ReplyDeleteIf John Barrowman is to be believed, he says Oliver won't kill Malcolm because he doesn't want for Thea to be an orphan like him, having lost both Robert and Moira.
ReplyDeleteRa's wanted to use her to bring Malcolm out once he learn the truth it will be a kill order on her
ReplyDeleteI refer you to my reply to Bruce. How can he want that man to be a father to her??? Even Thea doesn't want anything to do with him anymore.
ReplyDeleteWell, i never said that was a logical reason Jajajaja i think the whole, "let's do everything Malcolm says" is stupid... They're trying to redeem a character that can't be, so they're going to be A LOT of inconsistencies in the story...

Twins!! Once again *hugs*
ReplyDeleteNot everyone knows that about the Asia shows. I certainly didn't!
ReplyDeleteThe twist will be Malcolm is working with Ra's all along trying to bring Oliver down so that Ra's can control Starling as a payment to his defection to the league. But he does love Thea a bit. Nyssa and Sara was unaware of the plot. So after this episode Nyssa will go against Ra's along with Oliver. It's my wishful thinking.
ReplyDeleteor Malcolm payment to Ra's is Oliver to join the league
ReplyDeleteCould be. Malcolm could betray Oliver and give him up to Ra's as a student for his freedom.
ReplyDeletein this promo deathstorke doesn't look so evil
ReplyDeleteI hope we get a sliver of old Slade in there so that he can move on from completely evil to anti hero. My Slade/Oliver feels!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that Thea finds out through Oliver.
ReplyDeleteWell I read Marc will try to do something about these big spoilers in foreign promos
ReplyDeleteI really want Malcolm to double cross them.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds ;) ;)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, could be. Although I don't agree with the "he does love Thea a bit" part.
ReplyDeleteCould be.
ReplyDeletePerhaps at first. But you now know for future episodes, yes?
ReplyDeleteI'm still just getting a black screen. :( Does anyone know if it's on YT?
ReplyDeletethe way I understand if they bought copy rights they cant do anything
ReplyDeleteall things considered, Thea has been taking these life-changing revelations pretty well don't you think?
ReplyDeleteway better than what I envisioned.
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of it I don't think they would. I would like it to happen. Oliver deserves to be told off for letting her hang around Malcolm clueless after he knew the truth.

ReplyDeleteGee.....I don't know....I'd have to check with everyone else.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thea Queen you are not a killer though so please don't!!!
ReplyDeletehero
ReplyDeleteMalcolm Merlyn isn't capable of loving someone, so no he doesn't love Thea
ReplyDeleteno he doesn't love her so don't look for good in him
ReplyDeleteyou really think Slade's still in there? and not just Deathstroke?
ReplyDeleteme too
ReplyDeletepart of me feels like he already did, i don't know what it is but i feel it
ReplyDeleteEverything he's doing will turn out to be a part of a much larger plan.
ReplyDeleteWe can guess from here to the finale and we may never guess what's really going to happen. My only hope is whatever happens, offers a plausible explanation that won't leave me fuming!

ReplyDeleteI think by the end of this episode he will be a bit changed. That's my hope.
ReplyDeleteHe is a weird character. In his mind he loves Thea. But we know no one who loves their daughter would do anything like he did. So in the future we can expect him doing favors or even save Thea but he will always be a snake.
ReplyDeletehaha... off course this is the promo... after all, we are all on 'spoilertv' dot com!
ReplyDeleteYeah, hearing her say that is pretty promising, and it seems she'll find out a lot sooner than I actually thought she would.
ReplyDeleteWriters, John Barrowman, I don't know lol xD I've been trying to figure that out too, especially now, also because I'd think that Oliver would know deep inside that this did all start with Malcolm being a selfish coward that pulled them into this forcefully so that he didn't have to face Ra's, so I don't really understand how supposedly Malcolm is supposed to be able to train Oliver to beat him.

I hope ray is off the show by the finale he's a waste of time they could use that time develop other people
ReplyDeleteOliver and sensible decisions?? Aren't we asking for a bit too much??
ReplyDeletelet's hope he eats his own tail then
ReplyDeletelooks like Thea now gets her reason for her sudden change of heart. I thought it was very weird that she suddenly didn't like/trust Merlyn anymore last week.
ReplyDeleteanyway, can't wait for Slade, he's awesome.
Exactly. Mostly for himself but oncebin a while he will work for the greater good.
ReplyDeleteI hope so for a long time. But Thea has gone through so much. I think she will always be confused about him. I hope I am wrong. But I think that's what they are aiming for.
ReplyDeleteTHAT'D be cool
ReplyDeletewhat's the reason?
ReplyDeleteI could see it. I'd hope though that he and Oliver could somehow fight Ra's together. Then Merlyn would go on the run. Or Oliver fights Ra's alone.
ReplyDeletewhat the video. appearently Thea finds out that Merlyn had her kill Sara.
ReplyDelete
