Sara's mask!!! I love that mask. I hope there is more for Laurel in this episode than this fight and bickering with Oliver. With all the Thea/Malcolm drama this all feels a bit redundant.
I need to ask, am I supposed to feel bad for Laurel? I'm serious by the way I'm not being sarcastic. Is that episode intended to make us feel sorry for Laurel? What is the main objective from this episode?
It's part of Laurel's evolution. The peek ends with Sara asking why are you taking my place? This episode is about Laurel finding her motivation and why did she took on the role of the Canary and if it's meant for the long run.
Sara isn't the bad guy here. Sara isn't really talking, not her emotions, everything she is saying are Laurel's fears of not being worthy of the jacket.
And you are not getting us! This isn't SARA. This are the representation of LAUREL's fears. The episode isn't about Sara being glorified, she is dead can't fix that they use her appearance to make Laurel a better vigilante
I'm not being stubborn because I hate Laurel if that's what you mean. The fact that Sara is talking at all in the hallucination (she is the only one) and Vertigo fighting exactly like Sara is illogical. Now Laurel is imagining her dead sister this mean to her! Nothing about that scene makes sense. It's just a plot device to have an epic Canary fight.
I see it completely different. You never heard about auditive hallucinations and that drugged people react differently to the same drugs.
Vertigo fighting like Sara? He is just kicking her paranoid ass with a stick. Wouldn't even say the fight is epic cause Laurel is out of it from the panic attack she is suffering.
I will repeat myself once more: She is seeing her worst fear, her sister being ashamed and embarased of her, her not being worthy to dress and act like Sara, being selfish for keeping the secret from Quentin cause she fears of loosing him when he finds out.
I always want to see Laurel get her ass kicked. (I mean it's not that hard, b/c she gets her ass handed to her with every fight she's in) Butttttt, I already watched the first sneak peek with her and iI was bored. I don't need to see her in the second clip. I'll wait til the episode airs. 2 More hrs to go.
the episode most certainly won't make me like Laurel any more, that boat has sailed long ago. Bad writing for the character and an actress as bad as Cassidy is a deadly combination.
Buzzy I really don't get why you have to be mean! And by the way I'm sorry but Laurel's arc will always be the B plot! After all the show is called Arrow not Black Canary!
Are you on vertigo? Sara was never a fan favorite, she became this saint because she died but last year people give her all kinds of crap, especially after she hook up with Oliver again.
People who STILL complain about Sara's death are, mostly, Laurel haters ... and even they are shutting up.
I didnt say her arc is B plot. But every episode has an A and a B plot. Its obvious that in this episode Laurel/Sara fight will be the primary focus. But there will also be a B story with Oliver/Malcolm/Thea. Just because its a centric episode doesnt mean it will feature just one thing. And the CW usually features plot A & plot B in their sneaks. But i guess stating a fact is being a hater. Ok then.
LOL really? Mean???????? Ok ... you probably new to this fandom if you think calling someone a hater is mean, but ok. And BTW, Sparky is always throwing shade on Laurel.
And no, Laurel's arc was the B plot during season 2 but now is one of the most important / developed this year, yeah Oliver's arc is the main one but Oliver is also a part of all (or at least most) parallel arcs.
I know that you meant fot the comment to be insulting but it actually made me laugh :D You gave it your best shot. Keep trying and maybe you'll get it right next time.
I've see little Sparkly comments for a very long time so I know what I'm talking about, but yes, we agree to disagree.
I don't think calling someone a hater is MEAN, mean (to me) is what some people who happen to ship Olicity does with Katie Cassidy or Caity Lotz or any other actress who kiss Amell on this show for no reason at all, is just a tv show people.
I actually didn't even try to insult you because your comment was already laughable but hey, if I made you laugh means you're burning calories and that's always a good thing my dear.
I can't stop laughing at what Sara said to her because it's true I'm not sure if you've seen it yet but when you watch the episode I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Sara's not a bad guy in Laurel's mind, she's just voicing all her greates fears, and since her greates fear is not measuring up to Sara and Sara dissaproving of what she's done, that's what we'll get.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
they sure all promoting the hell of Laurel! both sneak peek featuring her
ReplyDeleteThat speech was great. Oh, Sara. You had me at "selfish bitch." XD
ReplyDeletewhy did they have to "Shado" and "Thea" Sara like when Slade and Roy were on Mirakuru
ReplyDeleteATM I expect so much from this episode, cause if they are showing us this great part of the episode there has to be something major in the other part.
ReplyDeleteYou should check the name of the episode... You would be surprised that is promoting her also...
ReplyDeleteSara's mask!!! I love that mask. I hope there is more for Laurel in this episode than this fight and bickering with Oliver. With all the Thea/Malcolm drama this all feels a bit redundant.
ReplyDeleteI need to ask, am I supposed to feel bad for Laurel? I'm serious by the way I'm not being sarcastic. Is that episode intended to make us feel sorry for Laurel? What is the main objective from this episode?
ReplyDeletewhy wouldn't you?
ReplyDeletethe writers voicing the fandom
ReplyDeleteBecause I love Felicity and Laurel is threatening my ship. Here I saved you a lot of time.
ReplyDeleteDamn, you want me to be out of a job sooner or later, right? :(
ReplyDeleteIt's part of Laurel's evolution. The peek ends with Sara asking why are you taking my place? This episode is about Laurel finding her motivation and why did she took on the role of the Canary and if it's meant for the long run.
ReplyDeleteLaurel come clean to her father about Sara......and she is told the truth who is the killer.....these has to address in this episode.
ReplyDeleteSara's cleavage!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's the dream :P
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I see. But is it wise to show Sara (a fan favourite) as the bad guy?
ReplyDeletebut this place would be so peacefull without me, it'd probably get boring
ReplyDeleteI'll try to find a way to keep on living.
ReplyDeleteit's a hallucination of her lmao. It's not really her.
ReplyDeleteI get that hahaha I mean to show Sara as a bad guy in Laurel's mind. Why would Laurel imagine Sara this cruel?
ReplyDeleteIt's Vertigo. It's going to warp and mess with your mind.
ReplyDeletethey usually put the b plot in the sneak peaks also.
ReplyDeleteIt shows you your greatest fear. Laurel's fear is Sara calling her a selfish b***? That's very telling lol
ReplyDeleteSara isn't the bad guy here. Sara isn't really talking, not her emotions, everything she is saying are Laurel's fears of not being worthy of the jacket.
ReplyDeleteI'll remain under your skin though. Every morning you wake up knowing that I won't post some crap will probably make the entire day feel....empty
ReplyDeleteI didn't even read that much into it. I just thought the line delivery was great. It sure as hell made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about me. I'll soldier on through the pain.
ReplyDeleteOh, C'mon! Are you really showing us the "bets part of the episode" in a sneak peek? Arrow's marketing people are the worst!
ReplyDeletemakes you miss Caitys oscar worthy acting, doesen't it?
ReplyDeleteHa! Let's not go crazy. A comment like that makes me think you might be dipping into the Vertigo as well.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Thea/Malcolm/Oliver are the best part.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I want all this to happen in this episode. Poor Quentin.
ReplyDeleteHey dont ask me. Maybe they trying to get the BC comic fanboys onboard. CW confuses me with how they do PR.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are not getting us! This isn't SARA. This are the representation of LAUREL's fears. The episode isn't about Sara being glorified, she is dead can't fix that they use her appearance to make Laurel a better vigilante
ReplyDeleteYeah but Laurel thinks Sara could ever be so cruel?
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! Someone gets it.
ReplyDeleteShe is drugged??? Paranoid?
ReplyDeleteBut if its about her biggest fears. I am just confused how she could see her dead sister like that.
ReplyDeleteOh bless you.
ReplyDeleteHer fear is about not being worthy of her sister legacy. Not worthy as a human being, as a fighter.
ReplyDeleteIf she is trying to honour her sister and continue her legacy, then her fear shouldn't include imagining her dead sister calling her a selfish bi***!
ReplyDeleteShe is drugged! A former addict in panic of her actions.
ReplyDeleteTell me honestly, you just don't want to get it?
It's not Arrow's people,. It's the CW's, same people that put out the paragraph long spoiler filled episode summaries for upcoming episodes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not being stubborn because I hate Laurel if that's what you mean. The fact that Sara is talking at all in the hallucination (she is the only one) and Vertigo fighting exactly like Sara is illogical. Now Laurel is imagining her dead sister this mean to her! Nothing about that scene makes sense. It's just a plot device to have an epic Canary fight.
ReplyDeleteSigh...again I can't see the clip. Do I want to look for it?
ReplyDeleteDepends. Do you want to spoil the fight? Do you want to see an evil mean Sara kick Laurel's butt?
ReplyDeleteI see it completely different. You never heard about auditive hallucinations and that drugged people react differently to the same drugs.
ReplyDeleteVertigo fighting like Sara? He is just kicking her paranoid ass with a stick. Wouldn't even say the fight is epic cause Laurel is out of it from the panic attack she is suffering.
I will repeat myself once more: She is seeing her worst fear, her sister being ashamed and embarased of her, her not being worthy to dress and act like Sara, being selfish for keeping the secret from Quentin cause she fears of loosing him when he finds out.

ReplyDeleteWise decision lol she just gets punched, bleeds and falls down. That's the clip in a nutshell.
ReplyDeleteHmm, yeah I pass.
ReplyDeleteI wish I did the same.
ReplyDeleteOK then.
ReplyDeleteIf it was marijuana it would be different and hilarious.
ReplyDeleteLaurel gets beat up and not Sara says the things Laurel haters have been saying for a while now.
ReplyDeleteUmm, I asked do I want to see it? Not what's the clip. But I already passed on it. I said i'll wait til the episode. Thanks. = /
ReplyDeleteNo but the writers suck. They think if they make people hate Sara they'll like Laurel more.
ReplyDelete"Sara" is so right. Really wish she was real and Laurel was dead.
ReplyDeleteA peek inside the writer's room:
ReplyDelete"People still don't like Laurel. Quick, to the Pity Mobile!"
the episode most certainly won't make me like Laurel any more, that boat has sailed long ago. Bad writing for the character and an actress as bad as Cassidy is a deadly combination.
ReplyDeleteToday's target: Make peop say "oh poor Laurel".
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteI doubt people will hate Sara but they want Laurel to look like the poor vulnerable one.
ReplyDeleteyou're such a pattetic hater my dear
ReplyDeleteLaurel's arc is not the B plot, not this season ;)
Buzzy I really don't get why you have to be mean! And by the way I'm sorry but Laurel's arc will always be the B plot! After all the show is called Arrow not Black Canary!
ReplyDeleteAre you on vertigo? Sara was never a fan favorite, she became this saint because she died but last year people give her all kinds of crap, especially after she hook up with Oliver again.

parallel arcs.
Urgh, don't bother
ReplyDeleteLike I said to Silvia down here, you are always throwing shade on Laurel for no reason, just because she's not Felicity.
So neh.
I know that you meant fot the comment to be insulting but it actually made me laugh :D
ReplyDeleteYou gave it your best shot. Keep trying and maybe you'll get it right next time.
Actually Sparky stated a fact, and to me she wasn't throwing shade on Laurel! And I'm really not new to this fandom. But whatever agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteI thought this is a place where we can share our opinions. I really hope the shade i am throwing is good though.
ReplyDeleteI've see little Sparkly comments for a very long time so I know what I'm talking about, but yes, we agree to disagree.

ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing at what Sara said to her because it's true I'm not sure if you've seen it yet but when you watch the episode I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny because she can't even throw a proper punch or even jump down to a car properly that sure was funny but not as much as this sneak peek.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I hope she finally opens about what happened to her father.
ReplyDeleteMarc said there's a cute scene between Laurel/Felicity this episode, I'm excited
That's so sweet of you to care about my health.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the clip. But the episode airs in. 20 min. I'm sure I'll figure out what part it is when i see it and think of you. Haha
ReplyDeleteI think the episode is supposed to walk the audience through all the reasons we dislike Laurel becoming Sara and give us reasons to move past them.
ReplyDeleteSara's not a bad guy in Laurel's mind, she's just voicing all her greates fears, and since her greates fear is not measuring up to Sara and Sara dissaproving of what she's done, that's what we'll get.
ReplyDeleteDon't waste your time, haters will be haters and they won't understand what they don't want to. It is what it is...
ReplyDeleteI know, but eventually if you follow the conversation you can see, that they ran out of excuses at the end. ;-)
