Agents of SHIELD - Season 2 - Luke Mitchell cast

Luke Mitchell will make his debut this season as a charismatic Inhuman named Lincoln, who has an important role to play in Skye understanding the true extent of her transformation.

“With the revelations surrounding Skye’s true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we’d be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed,” said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “The charming energy Luke brings to the role that will make him a character to watch as we continue our season.”

    Yay, loved Luke on The Tomorrow People and I'm sure he's gonna be awesome as a new Inhuman helping out Skye understand her new powers. Such great casting :)

    Yeah, I'm seriously going through some SHIELD withdrawals as well. Thank god I have some episodes on my DVR that I can rewatch again while I desperately wait for March 3rd.

    That's awesome, I miss him. The description didn't really have to say "charismatic" it's sort of a given with Luke lol the man can have a scene alone in a dungeon and still be charming!

    Great news (but please no love interest for a "specific person"; that would be lame (still skyeward)). I'm for introducing a queer character.

    That was my problem but then I decided to go and watch all the Marvel movies that take place in the MCU, in order starting with Iron Man and then after The Avengers, started AoS, then watched Thor 2 and Winter Soldier in the appropriate places during season 1, and my experience with the show totally and utterly shifted. They try to say that you can follow without watching the movies, but that's not very accurate IMO. But now I'm at the point where I love the show and feel it makes the movies themselves even better because of how much it expands the world. And where before, I'd think "Man, this show would be better if they'd bring some more people in from the movies", I now think: "Man, I really hope some of these characters pop up in the movies later on!" Ha.

    awesome, glad that you stuck with it and fell in love with the MCU and yeah you're right, back then people were like "when are the Avengers coming in the show" but now the characters are loved and it doesn't matter when or if the Avengers come in

    Well, Peyton List has been cast on The Flash as Captain Cold's sister, so you still get a TTP reunion :) (although I don't know if she'll share scenes with Robbie Amell.)

    Exactly. I'm a Marvel girl so I just knew I would love it but I don't. I do love Agent Carter though. I think Marvel is better at the movies and DC is better on TV.

    What the audience knows it's irrelevant, what matters is what the team knows, and I don't think Coulson would allow him to get close to and help Skye if they knew he was evil.

    The only way he would not be Ward 2.0 would be If everyone knew from the get go that he is evil, and since he's going to be helping Skye, I think it's safe to say that the team thinks he's relatively trustworthy. I could be wrong, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
