  2. You go, Peggy and Jarvis! Take those SSR agents down. Damn, I wonder what Agent Thompson is gonna do to Peggy now that he caught up with her. I have a feeling it's not gonna be good.

  4. For the American History buffs: How likely is it that an agent of the SSR is an Asian man? (I am from the UK)

  5. There are Asian Americans too you know the Nisei squad in World War II?

  6. The ssr wasn't a real agency, it was created for the comic books. In the comics a character named Jim Morita (one of the Howling Commandos) was with the ssr. I haven't read a lot odd the comics so there may have been another Asian character but he's the only one I recall.

  7. Thanks for the response. I might not have worded the question correctly. I just find it weird that there are Asian American agents but they have such a big issue with women. Anyway glad that there is some diversity in the secondary cast.

  8. Thanks for your response. No sorry I have never heard of this group. I have to admit that my historical knowledge is sketchy(to the googles). I must admit that I assumed that America real/fictional would be hostile to certain people post WW2.

  9. Not true the Nisei squads were the most decorated squads in Europe. I can totally see members of them being vetted and assigned by the SSR. The real life counter part OSS had Asian agents.

  17. Oh could this be it? Could this be the episode Thomson gets his ass handed to him by Peggy? Please please please let her give him the exact same treatment she gave those agents at the continuation of this clip....

And now permit me to resume the squee-ing over my girl kicking ass all around that diner. :D
(and be super happy Jarvis is there lending a hand)

  18. The song you said sounded familiar -- it's an old standard called "It's a Good Day", usually attached to Peggy Lee singing it. It has popped up in other shows from time to time. They are off by a year though as it was published in 1947 and this is supposed to be 1946.

  19. oh ok and huh that's surprisingly inaccurate

  20. Does Thompson even have the guts to pull the trigger?

  21. Old standards in music just refers to popular old songs that have continued to hold their weight through time and continue to pop up every so often , used in various ways. Simply put, songs that people remember that don't fall off the face of the earth.
