It breaks my heart that just after kicking some serious ass and finally gaining the respect of her coworkers it all goes to pot and she's on the run. :(
Oh shiiit, Peggy going on the run from the SSR and that confrontation with Sousa is gonna be intense as hell. Really hope he can understand why she's doing this. Can't wait.
It really is done very well with a great cast. And it breaks my heart that the ratings do not reflect the quality and loads of fun entertainment that viewers are ignoring.
Yes! Couldn't they have given us the pleasure of just one episode where she is full accepted as part of the team - drat those shoulder scars. Hopefully in the final episode of this run ( and I pray it is not the final episode ever) the truth comes out and they all wind up working together. ( Though, how her co-workers get past her working behind their backs all along will be tricky).
Oh, the cruelty - JUST when Peggy finally wins her colleagues' respect, they come to believe she's committing treason. Well-played, writers. Evil, but well-played.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
i can see this show getting a lot of seasons. the quality of Agent Carter is SPLENDID! ... the ratings make my heart hurt though...
ReplyDeleteIt's billed as a one season miniseries.

ReplyDeleteDaniel Sousa DO NOT SHOOT YOUR FUTURE WIFE!!!!
ReplyDeletegod I hope there is more! It would be such a shame to stop it after one season! it's the best show of its genre yet IMO!
ReplyDeleteYeah, hopefully there will be a gazillion seasons that span until The Winter Soldier's timeline.
ReplyDeleteShit, shit goes down, oh gods, on the one hand I'm glad that Sousa cracked the case, but on the other NOOO, Peggyyy! Can't wait.
