Hilarie Burton ("White Collar") and huh now she's a professor and i'm really hoping for a a jealous Jo
ReplyDeleteSo Henry's getting laid...
ReplyDeleteYou guys have to watch Secrets and Lies! Reaaaal good.
ReplyDeleteyou mean with the sociopath?
ReplyDeleteForever - interesting that they changed actresses to show the older Abigail Morgan which is a disappointment since we are so connected to the original Abigail. Shame, couldn't they just have thrown on some make-up and a wig ? I wondered when we would see her aging next to an unchanging Henry but never expected them to switch out actresses.
ReplyDeleteKind of. Anyway.. read the press realease maybe to make sure? :)
ReplyDeleteThat Goldberg premise sounds hilarious. As does The Fresh Off The Boat one. I can't wait to see Jessica in a job lol. She's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is with Frankie and Mike forgetting things about their kids like birthdays that were 3 months ago. I know they are busy people but dude it's your kids 13th birthday how do you forget that for so long. I like The Middle don't get me wrong but sometimes they are so scatter brained on the show it hurts. Especially seeing as they did the same thing to Sue already. Get your stuff together Mike and Frankie.
Please reread that part of promo. Our beloved Mackenzie Mauzy (orig. Abigail) will appear as Abigail in 1955 scenes and Janet Zarish will apprear as the older Abigail in 1979 scenes. There would be a big change in her looks 24 years later.
ReplyDeleteOh, I completely understood as you can clearly see that the two actresses are listed for Abigail 24 years apart. I am just saying that surely in this day and age of makeup , CGI, and prosthetics they could have aged her just 24 years. It is done all the time in TV and film , and for older than 24 years' difference. It is just jarring when they obviously use a different person for the part. Thank you for taking the time though to explain that to me but I had seen the two listings already when I read it originally.
ReplyDeleteSorry, AvonleaMist. I didn't mean to sound critical in my comments. Just thought you might have missed the fact that Mackenzie WAS going to be in this episode, too. Can't wait to see it, can you?
ReplyDeleteThanks, understood. I too love this show and feel there is so much they can do with the material if they can just get renewed which is sadly looking bleakish right now. Happy to talk to another fan of Forever any time.
ReplyDelete"FOREVER" is a class act. Why do you have to use crass or foul remarks like this? Many fans have said they have made watching "FOREVER" a weekly family event, shared with their children. If you need to use gutter language, there are plenty of other shows that warrant your time and attention. Just please refrain from exposing it when referring to this high caliber series.
ReplyDeleteHuh... okay... don't know if I should dignify this with a response, but since you went out of your way to set a "comments moral standard" I think I can spend 2 minutes here.
ReplyDeleteLet me start by saying
1) It was joke.
and
2) I can't really understand why you would get so offended by such a comment as to scold me over it. ("gutter language"? Really that's one of the most offensive things you've ever heard?)
Lastly, I'm really enjoying the show too so if I want to comment on it I will... and as long as I'm being directly respectful to other commenters I will do so in any manner in which I chose.
Saying the words "getting laid" is hardly being crass, and I can't say I particularly appreciated you making it a point to wiggle your finger in my direction over my choice of words or my sense of humour.
Thank you very much for your time.
Memories of Murder is going to be a really fun episode to watch. I can't wait, but really peeved I thev to wait another bloody two weeks....again! Gah. This is torture.
ReplyDeleteDear Folie-lex: Sorry I obviously upset you with, what I considered, my mild reprimand. Yes, I've certainly heard much worse language. I'm no prude! In fact, I've used it myself. Surprised? Don't be. The fact is that it's become so commonplace that it's lost its shock value and it doesn't phase us much anymore. I wasn't directing my comment to ONLY you. I just tried to politely remind everyone that one of the things fans have said they liked about "FOREVER" is that it is 'family friendly' and a clean show. You know I'm right that there are PLENTY of other shows who DO stray off the curb and step into the 'gutter verbiage'. Yes, you're correct that you have the right to comment any way you like; but, I ALSO have that same right. I believe it's called "The First Amendment". We are free to exercise it but we should also use good judgment in when and where it is proper to do so. You sound like a very intelligent person and I apologize for upsetting you and making you feel 'singled out' by my comment. Let's call a truce. We both love "FOREVER" and want it to continue. Thank you for taking your valuable time to listen to me, too.
ReplyDeleteUgh, i don't like Hilarie Burton. I hope it would be last episode she will appear.
