Is the Control theory still possible? I thought 4x12 explained quite clearly that Control knew nothing about what happened in the Stock Exchange. How could she take Shaw in time?
I guess the the option that she was taken by Samaritan for questioning is still the most plausible. They wouldn't kill her unless she told them anything. Which she wouldn't. Plus the producers basically confirmed that she's not dead.
Currently I believe she is taken and tortured by Sumatran agents, but I think that will not be the bottom line on Shaw's whereabouts, as I suspect the writers will bread crumb her existence "on again, off again" through out the remainder of the season, until sometime next year where she'll officially return...
I think Samaritan has her, and maybe they're taking her from location to location just to make sure Team Machine and possibly Control doesn't find her. Would be awesome if Team Machine ends up finding her in another country.
Other. I think team Samaritan will keep Shaw alive. They shot her, but I think Samaritan will order Martine to capture Shaw so they can brainwash/torture her and turn her into a Samaritan agent.
Don't get me wrong. I really like this idea and I am still hoping that there are some possible explanations out there to make this sound. I think this is the only theory that the plot is interesting and won't damage Shaw much. I even hope that maybe Hersh was just presumed dead and doing some secret stuff for Control, given he was shot by Decima agents so he would be suspicious about them. But then, he was so dead in 3x22 and there's go this chance. Anyway, I still like the Shaw/Control idea.
Samaritan wanted to capture all of Finch's people with the stock market trap. Since it only managed to snag one of them, the best trap it can come up with in that aftermath would be to use her as bait to lure out those that got away. Which means as long as the Machine is watching, they can't kill Shaw, and they have to give the Machine enough reason to believe Shaw is alive to get Finch's people to come after her.
I Honestly think if she was Dead they would of made that crystal clear at the end of the episode like they did with Carter. The fact they didnt make it clear if she is dead/alive suggests to me she is alive somewhere
Taken by Samaritan, they implant a tracker inside her and let her escape (they hope to track this way the whole TM); but she figures it out and stays away until Samaritan is defeated.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Other - she will have left the country and will return when she is led back by The Machine.
ReplyDeleteso she didn't die?
ReplyDeleteShe was shot ! so if she survived they definitly took her for questionning or perhaps turn her to become one of them ..
ReplyDeleteThe Team Machine believes that she isn't and looking after her. Hopefully we will know more about it in the next episode.
ReplyDeleteI don't she's hiding. She was shot, so it's obvious that someone took her, most probably Samaritan people.
ReplyDeleteThe Machine gave her about a 2% chance of survival
ReplyDeleteis that possible? o hope not
ReplyDeleteso it's possible she's alive? awesome
ReplyDeleteSarah is having twins, so hoping Shaw will be back and I think the agents have her.

ReplyDeleteQuote Sarah Shahi: "If you don't see a body then they are not dead". And we haven't seen that body nor will we see one.
ReplyDeleteI made this poll almost right after 4x11 so if there are some options that are not feasible, ignore them.
ReplyDeleteoh wow she that old rule she HAS to be alive then
