Nyssa, Helena and China White are all awesome. I'm having a hard time deciding between Nyssa and Helena, but I think I have to go Helena, because you gotta admire the dedication. She has a goal, and she works hard to achieve it. It's a crazy goal, sure, but she's very committed. I hope she comes back someday to do more craziness.
Well, I wouldn't consider her a villain but I have to choose Nyssa because she is simply the best. I love her! What I wouldn't give for a spin-off of her.
She's willing to go there to get it done. She's the most consistent character in the Arrow/Flash universe and massively underrated i think. Can't wait for Barry to meet her.
That's the thing, you think her actions are justified and I don't. And we are both right. You think she does what she has to in order to save lives. I think that she is trigger happy, like Diggle said "Waller's never seen a problem she didn't Think couldn't be solved with a drone strike". Some times it feels like she is taking the easy way out. Oliver managed to find another way to stop Slade's army didn't he? Besides she really couldn't think of a better way to get rid of the chemicals other than blowing up Deadshot? She already had the exact coordinates, she could've come up with a plan to evacuate the place then send the drone there. It would be very interesting to see how Barry would react towards her. He reacted very strongly towards Oliver (and Oliver is a friend and Barry looks up to him) just because he tortured a guy.
I really like China, Helena, and Nyssa. They're all awesome in their own way, but I had to go with Nyssa. I also like Carrie Cutter, but that's because she's so nuts there's no reasoning with her.
I don't consider Nyssa a villain but she is my favorite female guest. I would love to see a movie or series where Katrina Law and Odette Anabelle played mortal enemies.
Nyssa may be an enemy, but I'm not sure she's a full-fledged villain yet. As for Waller, she is crazy evil, but she's also sanctioned by the US government, which for now keeps her on the nominal side of "good."
I liked Helena. Is she ever coming back? Maybe she could tell Laurel about a few of the lessons about vengeance and killing innocents she already learned. She had a much better constructed arc than poor black canary.
Like others, I don't consider Nyssa a villain, though I love watching her. And I like neither of the rest tbh. Cupid was like hearing nails scratching a wall. Couldn't stand her. I didn't like Helena but she was fine in her second stint. I think I'll go for Amanda Waller. She is not a conventional villain but but I see Arrow as Oliver's story and she is in a way responsible for a lot of things gone wrong in his life.
I'm sure Barry wouldn't agree with her. Whatever she was planning, he would the opposite and save everyone possible.
I hate when people with powers-those on the good side follow order from government. Even the power Villains shouldn't it. If there was a power organization to balance the side that would be different.
Their hardly villains. They have their own set of rules. They don't just go around killing random people. I don't know as much about them besides the basic, but I do not see them as villains. They only become such when their target is someone some hero is protecting. And even then they are just on different sides.
He wouldn't agree with her at all. Actually I admired him a lot when he stood up to Oliver in "The Brave and the Bold" I mean I understand why Oliver does what he does but he needed someone to remind that him violence is not always the answer, because he was on his way to becoming like Waller or worse Ra's. Someone who is willing to do anything for a cause. Someone who can sacrifice thousands of lives without hesitation. A symbol without any humanity. Which is what this season is all about. That's why the poster was Oliver walking alone in the dark and the city is burning behind him with the words "Saving a city takes a toll". That toll is his soul and his compassion.
Yea Heroes without power have different struggles. And there is some degree of line you have to break if you want to be effective. But Yea I get you. Barry did good in reminding Oliver. And Oliver made good point on strategy to Barry which he should always follow. aka writer's should not forget.
Both Barry and Oliver should keep in mind what the other one taught him. The crossover episodes were very important for both of them, character development wise.
I get that her job is tough and I don't want to be in her place but still her actions are way too extreme. I doubt Cisco is going to hit on her, she is too scary, although they both love giving nicknames to villains so they have that in common lol Barry and Waller interaction could be great. She will make him see how dangerous and awful real villains can be but I don't think Barry will ever condone these decisions.
Actually they do. They kill 50 random villagers to get to the village to give someone up. This is what Nyssa said historically was how they got "justice."
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Cupid, stupid.
ReplyDeleteChina White's not that high i wonder why
ReplyDeleteI loved China White, Helena and Nyssa.

ReplyDeleteCupid and Helena
ReplyDeleteHelena
ReplyDeleteOkay but Amanda Waller isn't a villain. She gets the job done.
ReplyDeleteNyssa is my favorite from these although she isnt a pure villain
ReplyDeleteBecause she is super bland and completely undeveloped.
ReplyDeleteHelena is my choice. Nyssa would be up there but she really hasn't done anything "villainous" to qualify, imo.
ReplyDeleteYES! I still don't get why is she such a threat that they want to blow up an entire plane to kill her! I don't see it. She actually bores me a lot.
ReplyDeleteShe exists in that grey area between right and wrong, although I think that she leans more towards the darker end of the grey spectrum.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wouldn't consider her a villain but I have to choose Nyssa because she is simply the best. I love her! What I wouldn't give for a spin-off of her.
ReplyDeleteWaller isn't really a villain and neither is Nyssa.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be either Chien Na Wei or The Huntress,
Waller wanted to level an entire city and she's not a villain?
ReplyDeletehow is she not a villain?
ReplyDeleteTo stop an army of mirakuru soldiers, so no she isn't a villain. It's not like she had her own personal agenda.
ReplyDeleteHow is she a villain?
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteNyssa trumps every one else.
ReplyDeleteI simply hated Cupid, BTW.
ReplyDeleteShe's willing to go there to get it done. She's the most consistent character in the Arrow/Flash universe and massively underrated i think. Can't wait for Barry to meet her.
ReplyDeleteNyssa! And also China White and Cupid.

Nyssa al Ghul

ReplyDeleteChina White
ReplyDeletean ENTIRE city, please think about that, familes, kids
ReplyDeleteshe's part and a true believer of The League of Assassins
ReplyDeleteI don't consider Nyssa a villain but she is my favorite female guest. I would love to see a movie or series where Katrina Law and Odette Anabelle played mortal enemies.

If Nyssa wasn't a choice, I'd pick Cupid, stupid.
ReplyDeleteShe's part of the Triad...I don't think she really needs to be developed more than that.
ReplyDeletewell Huntress is a future ally so maybe
ReplyDeleteI dont really think of Nyssa as a villain...
ReplyDeleteNyssa al Ghul.
ReplyDeleteLike others, I don't consider Nyssa a villain, though I love watching her. And I like neither of the rest tbh. Cupid was like hearing nails scratching a wall. Couldn't stand her. ReplyDeleteFirst 2 on the list. And I still don't see them as Villains. Just different sides of different team/group/organization.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Barry wouldn't agree with her. Whatever she was planning, he would the opposite and save everyone possible.
ReplyDeleteI hate when people with powers-those on the good side follow order from government. Even the power Villains shouldn't it. If there was a power organization to balance the side that would be different.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Nyssa gets this one from me. But I'm kinda fond of Helena as well..
ReplyDeleteHuntess for me
ReplyDeleteNyssa is my favoriite and i loved Cupid. But yeah Nyssa wins!
ReplyDeleteCupid? The most stupid/annoying character ever.
ReplyDeleteBe nice to know how she became the head of the Triad though
ReplyDeleteok, then threatening to kill innocent people is not villianous enough for you?
ReplyDeletean entire city wiped off the map us not a hero's choice, Amanda Waller is not a good guy she is villainous, remorseless villainess
ReplyDeleteBoth Barry and Oliver should keep in mind what the other one taught him. The crossover episodes were very important for both of them, character development wise.

ReplyDeleteNot being a hero doesn't make you a villain.
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't the head of the Triad until her boss died in S1 by Helena.
ReplyDeleteI liked Helena of maybe her first two episodes then they wrote her over the top way too quickly. A missed opportunity there.
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't really see what qualifies as a "villain" here. If they aren't a typical hero they get shoved in the villain basket? ie. Waller and Nyssa
then what are you if you're not a hero, there's one other choice: a villain, killing families with kids isn't monstrous enough for you?
