Honorable mention to the Winchester guys though I have just finished Season 3 (I am resigned to the fact that I will always be years lagged on Supernatural since I basically watch one season each Christmas break and then stop for a year before I have time for it again lol) and also to the Salvatore brothers. Klaus has also come a very long way for me.
I agree. But I think he has been a tiny bit underused last year, he had more focus in the first season. I am perfectly fine with that since I understand they were focusing more on other storylines now, particularly the Finn one which had a poignant conclusion so it made sense to have more focus. But I hope we get more Bellamy centric episodes in the second half.
I voted for Damon Salvatore. Think he got the best character development this ms so far and the freshest impression on me.
Oliver Queen was a bit to weepy and nah so far.
Don't watch SPN Bellamy didn't do much this season and won't vote for him just cause The100 is the best show on theCW atm. Kane would deserve it more.
Klaus and Elijah are both great but DS was more Original this year. Stefan was also good but should dial down the ass whole. Currently Narcisse is rocking it, with exception of the last episode.
How can Wade Kinsella not even be in this poll ? Is the cutest sweet-bad-boy I've ever seen ! Wilson Bethel kills it. But Oliver Queen is not bad either, I wish he smiled more.
It's in character for him not to be very smiley I think. Oliver is a darkish character with a lot of ghosts, it suits his role. The Flash is the opposite, so you have Barry Allen all smiley and joking. Both make sense to me in light of their shows ;)
Very true. Some happiness for Oliver would be nice though. I just finished catching up yesterday and that mid season cliffhanger was like WTF! But tonight i have revenge so i just finished in time
Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester, there's no doubts to me. I really like Oliver, but he still needs to mature more. The things that have happened to Dean and Sam can not be compared with any other male character. And their personalities are awesome. You would understand that, if you see Supernatural and all the story of the brothers. Dean is beyond to the rest. The character and the actor, because Jensen (and Jared) is a epic actor.
went with Oliver Queen, but only because we have not seen much from Bellamy the last couple episodes. And from the Self torturing souls on the list, Oliver Queen is my favorite.
ahh all of the self torturing guilt ridden characters the most sympathetic one would be Bellamy. He has made the largest progress. I think, I hopem let's see. Voted for Oliver Queen though, we have seen more of than Bellamy and I am great hope that he will do some development. The vicious circle of SPN let me drop that show. The Originals guys, I like them both, but they are just at the beginning.
Damon Salvatore, hands down, he is one of the most best written characters I´ve ever seen, great character development, and he´s still growing as a person.
Oliver is complex and really likeable character, but I'm going to vote for Bellamy on this one, just because his evolution comes way faster and he becomes greater and greater by the episode
Well, Oliver Queen seems to be the more complex of them and the best acted, so i'll go with him.
Bellamy is a character still young, but has a lot of potential.
Don't watch The Originals, but i watched like 3 Seasons of TVD and their characters were kinda plain.
Talking about plain characters(Please don't kill me... Please!), there's Dean and Sam... I always feel these characters are the same book with a diferent cover each Season(especially, Dean).
While there are a lot of great male characters on the CW and I love many of them, Dean Winchester will always have a special place in my heart. Mostly cause I've stalked err followed Jensen since the Days of Our Lives days and I was soooo thrilled that he finally got into a role that really worked for him. Hadn't seen that since he played Alec on Dark Angel. As long as he's on Supernatural, I will watch it. No matter how rough it gets at times.
Well the back and forth between the two brothers who is at fault for who's misery. It's always in a different context but in the end it's the same. They keep on doing the same things to/for each other + the Leviathans just really spoiled the show for me. And always when I thought they made a little bit of progress - bam - back to the beginning. After a few years the show lost its apeal to me. I more or less made it through S8 and dropped the show. Then I heard about Demon Dean, which sounded like an interesting turn. Itried to watch S9 don't know what happend just lost interested. Had to check, I dropped at 9x15.
The Originals and Supernatural brothers ain't never plain. They are the most complex characters on the CW. If you think differently then you do not understand those characters at all. People say Oliver is the same old douche he was since the beginning and is still really immature. Plus the acting is literally nothing compared to that of Jenson Ackles or Joseph Morgan. Like, give me a break. I can't.
Totally agree, athough I would not call Dean and Sam plain. They have very complex characters and relationships but like you I feel they are in a loop.
Oliver Queen is the best developed character on The CW. His internal conflicts and give the entire arch of the TV show and his fights usually reflect those internal conflict. For example, Slade = Coming to terms with the consequences of his murderous past and confirming that he is not a killer anymore. I think he's the right pick.
I barely could choose between Elijah, Oliver and Damon. But Damon won. Elijah is the closest thing to a true vampire that we get on TO and Oliver is a dynamic hero that I enjoy watching every time he comes on screen. But Damon's character development this season surprised me a lot and looking back at his history in TVD, I understood along with Katherine, I'm mostly fascinated by how his character was shaped by the events of series and even pre-series. Besides I was kinda sure Oliver will get his votes, he deserves it.
Sorry, i disagree. I LOVE Supernatural's first five Seasons. I still watch the show. They're not complex, they just suffer a big case of "nothing ever good happens to me". Sam and Dean are in a loop, doing the same storylines with diferent wrapping paper, all of them have really similar concept
Also, please don't call Jensen Ackles a good actor. He's fine for theCW, but he is quite bad. The range Stephen Amell has is way more superior, as you can see how his expresions, body language and voice changes when playing Ollie oposite Oliver Queen.
Look, i like Supernatural a lot, but i don't need to justifie it by saying they're the best, because they're not. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are sub-par actors THAT I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING, because i love the show...
Like i said, i don't watch The Originals, so i won't comment on it... But i did watch TVD.
I don't see any complexity on rehashing the same concepts under a diferent setting. Being under a shitstorm doesn't make you a good character or complex, imho.
I don't get why people tend to justify liking a show by saying it's the best thing ever when you can like something just because you enjoy watching it... I like Supernatural, but it's not a Emmy worthy show, tbh.
I remember enjoying this crappy soap opera a few years back... It was BAD(all caps), but i like it. I didn't feel the need to say it was the best thing ever.
I love Arrow, yet i can tell you A THOUSAND things that are done horribly with the writing of the show.
ah ok, rehashing does take out the complexity they started with, thus I agree - aswell with the rest. But some shows (good or bad) tend to catch you in more emotionally. I don't undestand statements "best ever" either but I catch myself getting defensiv on my favorite show (atm Arrow)
I like Jasper too and he and Monte have a nice dynamic especially in season 2 but I don't like them enough to include them in the list. when you catch up tell me who is your favourite character :D
Umm I don't agree with this statement and I like Amel. But it would be interesting to see what Jensen can do with complex material, cause SPN as of now is a mix bag.
I voted Damon. (of course) But I really wanted to choose Oliver. lol There's a lot up there i like, but if i had to choose other, it'd be Diggle, Barry, and Cisco!!
Damon salvatore before Klaus mickaelson ?! They didn't ask who is the hottest but who is the best character ? i think that some people don't see the difference...
Are you kidding me Elijah of course. I love Daniel GIllies he is my favorite he is one of the reasons I love the show. Elijah is the most caring he puts everyone feelings beyond himself and that's what I love about him and at times I wish that he would think of himself. So yea Elijah for me
Oliver just isn't there for me yet (neither is Amell, which may have something to do with it). Maybe after a few more seasons. I'd argue for Quentin Lance, though, as far as supporting characters go.
I'd take the results of these CW and couples polls with a grain of salt, because they are largely influenced by which online fan-base is the most vocal or which fan-base has the biggest agenda. Bellamy most likely owes his sudden rise to #1 to the impressive number of "vote for Bellamy" tweets and poll snapshots sent out to the various "100 fan sites" urging fans to get Bellamy to #1. Aside from the frequent "vote for Dean" tweets and "vote for Damon tweets", none of the other characters listed come close to having as many of these tweets. I'm actually impressed that Oliver Queen stayed at #1 for so long,
It's the "Beauty and the Beast" effect where all it takes is a few thousand determined online fans with a strong shipping agenda to dominate and falsely skew every poll and it tends to be fan-bases where the outcome of their favorite show or favorite ship is uncertain and it tends to be younger viewers. It often comes down to "shipping", because with the exception of Supernatural, the relative popularity of these CW characters usually correlates with whether they are part of a popular romantic ship or not . Maybe it's all harmless fun, but in some cases these online opinions do influence certain writers (which is probably why the Gossip Girl and TVD plots turned into an uneven mess halfway through the series.
My vote goes to Bellamy Blake from the 100. His character development since the first episode its hands down the best I've seen in years cause they didn't just play the "difficult childhood" card in order to make us care for him but we actually saw him feeling terrible for what he did.He asked for forgiveness ans he fought for it.He didn't deny that what he did was terrible but he genuinely changed and became a leader, someone who inspired the masses and cared for his people. Also his change towards his sister, now he sees how capable she is to take care of herself, and Clarke is remarkable!Plus Bob Morley is perfect for the role.
Season 5 though made Damon look like he hasn't changed at all.The moment he though Elena broke up with him he went on a full killing spree like he did in previous seasons...bonnie brings the best out of him and Elena the worst
Agree. Like i said, Oliver Queen is such diferent from pre-island, Hong Kong and Starling City that it gives Amell a plus to show off. You see, Padalecki doing Ezekiel/Sam was the same as doing Soulless Sam, and it was awful. Don't know what Ackles would do with a bit more freedom, he has really good expression tough.
I mean I get maybe the poster only watches 4 shows, but to not even include all the guys on those shows seems overly reductive. Kinda surprised Other doesn't have more votes.
You are absolutely right. The CW shows are the worst for listening to twitter. I have seen Julie Plec interviews where she talks about twitter and how she loves Jaiden. For some reason they believe the most vocal are the fans and whatever they want should be catered for. Hence they change storylines and characters which means mistakes and inconsistencies emerge. Decimating Finns character in the 100 to cater for Bellarke fans is an example. Funny thing is the developer doesn't understand Bellarke because he knows the character is self serving. He is all a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. He hanged Murphy because the crowd wanted him to. Later he tells Clarke listening to a crowd is wrong. He tortured Lincoln and justified Finns actions although it was completely out of character. He ',murdered' Jaha and was lucky he didnt die but caused the death of 320 people to cover his tracks by stealing the radio. In the last episode the developer said hopefully all the negativity about Finn would disappear as they made him a hero again . The taking the blame for Ravens spacewalk was a new made up element as when they were alone in season one she said he had his spacewalk face on: being alone they would have no reason to deceive. Finn refuses to kill a grounder who attacks him and Clarke which shows he has not turned psycho which makes the massacre even more of a plot device. I think people like Bellamy because of the actor and so turn a blind eye to his character. We will see how long it takes for them to transform him into a complete hero.
So true. I predicted that the irrational Finn hate, would eventually cause the writers to throw him under the bus . I suppose the only way to justify killing off the most peace-advocating character was to essentially make him lose it and go all Lord of the Flies on a group of innocents. Same with Chuck vs. Dan on Gossip Girl, where Dan, the show's protagonist, got a terrible edit in the final season to satisfy Chair fans and justify Blair picking Chuck. Or TVD, where Stefan has been relegated to a secondary character because a lot of the Klaroline, Delena and Carenzo shippers hate him. I'll never understand the tendency of CW fans to favour the bad guys. Klaus could essentially murder an entire village and fans would forgive him, whereas Tyler and Stefan are attacked for practically everything they say. The moment that Enzo and Kai start getting more screen time than Stefan, will be the moment that I dump the show. Writers of other CW shows like Flash, Arrow and Supernatural do a much better job of avoiding these pitfalls, which is why they've been far more successful at keeping their viewers.
Ah... the leviathans. Aka the season that never happened. =P Demon Dean is in the newest season. They had a rough couple of seasons, but SPN X is doing good so far.
It has nothing to do with other people... His work alone isn't very good. There's a reason the guy is over 30 yo and doing a CW show. It has nothing to do with me enjoying another actor better(who also isn't more than a sub-par actor). He is quite bad. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy the show or his acting, i know i do...
Jensen Ackles is an incredible actor and brings the character of Dean Winchester to life he is totally believable and you forget that Dean is a fictional character! he is so good in fact that you can tell his emotions and what he is feeling by just looking at the expression on his face it's unbelievable, and I believe that Jensen Ackles Is one of the most unsung actors on TV. Supernatural is a great show with a lot of good actors and for the past 10 years Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki haVe developed these characters in such a way that they become part of your family. I love every single season...
Tbh out of all of the Spn characters Castiel should be number one. His character is super complex and has had the best character development on the show. His plot arcs are always the most interesting and in depth. I do love sam and dean too but Castiel, especially this season has been a really awesome character. Though, deanmon was also pretty cool too. For some reason since season 9 they have been writing Sam really 2D. He has a personality but they aren't really showing it recently. They're more focusing on the development of Cas and Dean which is good but Sam is still a main character.
Number one is Dean for sure! I love Arrow, Flash, VPD, Reign, The 100, and The Originals but SPN has been on the longest and ive been watching this show since I was 9! Dean Winchester is batman guys! XD
Number one is Dean for sure!! I love Arrow, Flash, VPD, Reign, The 100, and The Originals but SPN has been on the longest and ive been watching this show since I was 9! Dean Winchester is batman guys!! XD
I love how polls like this just want to cause issues. Why pit Dean and Sam against each other EVERY TIME. Why pit Jensen and Jared against each other EVERY TIME. The same goes for TVD guys.
I think you're right. Destiel shippers in the SPN fandom are pretty damn loud and the writers seem to respond by reducing the number of Dean and Cas scenes, which makes Jensen and the viewers happy.
Not sure where you get the "talentless diva" from. Jared is a very sweet, down to earth guy! And he's got loads of talent, as evidenced in the season 8 finale and the first half of season 9 when he had to alternate between 2 different characters in under a second.
I don't know why you're so bitter. Unless you're able to provide some sort of reasoning behind your hatred for Sam and Jared I think it'd be best to keep your thoughts to yourself :)
Just a side note thing, but Jensen was going to be Captain America but turned it down because of Supernatural and then Marvel called him back to play Hawkeye in Avengers and again he turned it down. Just because he's doing a CW show at 30 doesn't mean he's a bad actor, it means he loves his job and isn't giving it up. That's like saying Henry Ian Cusick is a bad actor because he's 30 and on the 100.
Sam Winchester. I haven't seen 100 so I don't know Bellmany's character. Sam is just so inspiring the way he's unconditionally forgiving and selfless. CW lucked out with Jared Padalecki because not only is he playing Sam, he also played at least 7 different characters on the same show, like when he played Sam possessed by Gadreel who is pretending to be Ezekiel. Jared is possibly one of the greatest actors I've ever seen, to the point where his portrayal of mental illness is so real that I became uncomfortable because it was hitting too close to home.
You are just jealous. who you think you are to decide who deserves and who doesn't, Sam is taking the lead here, but sure some ignorant hater like you think your opinion has more value than all who are voting for him.
By the way, all the time I see polls including characters/actors I don't like, but I never was burned with hate and jealousy to bash them and their fans unlike you, and this says a lot about you and about how you are insecure about your favorite!
I knew he was on the run for Captain America, but i never heard of him "turning down the part". All i knew was the studio wanting to go with Chris Evans. I'm not saying he is like "bad BAD", but he isn't as good as the fandom makes him see. It's like Beauty and the Beast winning anything: that show is just plain awful and people still vote for Kristen Kreuk even if she can't act... I'm sure if we put, for example, a pool to choose between who acts better: Jensen Ackles or Jeremy Allen White. Jensen would win easily, yet White is a spectacular young actor, streets ahead of Jensen.
I mean, they all can act better than me... So i'm not saying they suck like a corpse. But they are not as good as the fandoms idealize them.
I will give you that. Parts of the fandom put them on pedestals, but I will say that out of the shows that I do watch (and there's a number) Supernatural has the best actors.
Also, I found the article and I was mistaken, had Evans not taken it Ackles would have, BUT, Joss did contact him about Hawkeye and that role he did turn down, according to this article anyway...http://www.comicbooktherapy.com/jensen-ackles-passed-role-avengers-187139
Sam Winchester is the entire package, let's be real. Looks, skills, brains, and most of the all, empathy. He's /sweet/ and /kind/ and he genuinely care about people. That's what I look for in a character. Someone that comes from complexity and a predisposition to darkness and evil, and manages to screw destiny and wins against heaven and hell purely with the strength of his love. From his intelligence to his dimples to his roughness to his mistakes to his redemption, Sam Winchester is the one for me.
The poll votes are more accurate when it's only 1 vote per person though. Otherwise, it's unfair because fans of 1 character could be more enthusiastic with the voting, and fans of the other character might be less enthusiastic. It's better with 1 vote per person.
Oh I know. I was kinda being sarcastic, because the shippers/Minons love to vote multiple times in polls with him them, especially shipping ones. And then claim because of the poll win, that everyone wants to see Destiel canon, and all that nonsense.
Oh! Haha, sorry, I guess I misunderstood your post. But I totally agree with you! It's super annoying when Destiel shippers claim that because they won a poll, it's totally proof that it should be canon. Glad to know I'm not alone out here!
I think why Destiel shipper are obsessed with polls (especially the ones you can vote repeatedly and endlessly) is because 1) they're in the minority according to their own census, which is 1% of the fandom, and 2) there is next to no textual or on-screen stuff to support their ship, so they scream and holler about polls and falsely claiming that everyone wants to see it canon just to make themselves appear relevant, which they're not.
That is a wonderful tribute. I noticed a tumblr site took this and posted it to their site , credited it back to you on this site, and it got 340 notes in twenty hour hours. Congrats.
Huh? He is ok for a tv show, but nothing more. Why does he need to be a super star for you to enjoy the show? I LOVE SUPERNATURAL, but i don't have the need to say it's the best thing ever.
Arrow's Season 3 was a mess, yet that doesn't change the fact that i love Arrow and i WANT Season 4 NOW.
To use another medium as an example, there's a videogame called The Order 1886 and i loved the game. I had a blast. But it's a really bad game. Does the fact that it's a bad game made me not have fun? Not really.
People need to chill and stop being so fanatic. You treat Jensen Ackles as if he was Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm, those are good actors.
He doesn't have to have the best skills ever for you to enjoy him on-screen.
Well I think people have different opinions... In mine, Jensen Ackles is one of the best actors I have come across. He can act professionally in every genre ! N I really think he deserves more than a TV show!
Before replying to my comment the next time first read it through. I didn't express any kind of opinion. Just the fact that I didn't watch the show. If U like the show watch it, don't attack other people cause they don't share Ur passion.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I have a feeling this will be won by one of Supernatural boys.
ReplyDeleteOliver queen!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI say definitely Oliver queen will win this poll
ReplyDeleteBellamy Blake, with Oliver Queen a close second. Barry Allen is also a great one.
ReplyDeletePoor Flash.
ReplyDeleteBellamy Blake, one of my favorite characters on TV. He is an awesome character who has had some of the best character development.
ReplyDeleteI dont know i watched some of the polls explode with the SPN boys.
ReplyDeleteIn no specific order:
ReplyDelete- Oliver Queen (Arrow)
- Bellamy Blake (The 100)
- Barry Allen (The Flash)
- Bash (Reign)
Honorable mention to the Winchester guys though I have just finished Season 3 (I am resigned to the fact that I will always be years lagged on Supernatural since I basically watch one season each Christmas break and then stop for a year before I have time for it again lol) and also to the Salvatore brothers. ReplyDeleteDean Winchester is one of my favourite fictional characters ever (closely followed by Faith Lehane).
ReplyDeleteBarry Allen The Flash and maybe Oliver Queen Arrow.
ReplyDeleteThe boys will probably split the votes, Oliver should take it.
ReplyDeleteHow could Barry allen not be on the list
ReplyDeleteI voted for Damon Salvatore. Think he got the best character development this ms so far and the freshest impression on me.
ReplyDeleteOliver Queen was a bit to weepy and nah so far.

ReplyDeleteDean Winchester....always Dean for me.
ReplyDeleteDean Winchester and Sam Winchester, there's no doubts to me. I really like Oliver, but he still needs to mature more. ReplyDelete1. Other: Vincent Keller - Beauty and the Beast
ReplyDelete2. Other: Barry Allen - The Flash

Oliver Queen, Elijah Mikaelson, Barry Allen, Cas, Bellamy Blake and Stefan Salvatore.
ReplyDeleteCas Sam or Dean. The SPN fandom is quite powerful here.
ReplyDeletewent with Oliver Queen, but only because we have not seen much from Bellamy the last couple episodes. And from the Self torturing souls on the list, Oliver Queen is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI have always felt this way about Sam Winchester, Jared has a smile that will light a room..sigh.

ReplyDeleteKlaus Mikaelson
ReplyDeleteArrow: Oliver Queen, John Diggle and Roy Harper and I also liked Walter Steele a lot

ReplyDeleteOliver is complex and really likeable character, but I'm going to vote for Bellamy on this one, just because his evolution comes way faster and he becomes greater and greater by the episode
ReplyDeleteDean has been my favorite male character since WIAWSNB and no one has come close since. Next up would be
ReplyDelete(On the CW) Kane and Bellamy - The 100
Damon Salvatore
ReplyDeleteVincent Keller :)
ReplyDeleteI voted other my favorite male character is the Beast from Beauty and the Beast!!!!
ReplyDeleteElijah,bellamy,dean,Castiel,sam,alaric.
ReplyDeleteThe vicious circle of SPN let me drop that show.
ReplyDeleteI’m curious to know what you mean by that. :)
Oliver Queen is my choice but Barry Allen deserves to be on the list too.
ReplyDeleteMy vote went to Oliver Queen, but where is Barry Allen ?
ReplyDeleteWell, Oliver Queen seems to be the more complex of them and the best acted, so i'll go with him.

ReplyDeleteSorry, i disagree. I LOVE Supernatural's first five Seasons. I still watch the show. They're not complex, they just suffer a big case of "nothing ever good happens to me". Sam and Dean are in a loop, doing the same storylines with diferent wrapping paper, all of them have really similar concept
ReplyDeleteAlso, please don't call Jensen Ackles a good actor.
Oliver Queen, meu amor *-* Sim, sou brasileira e não vou ficar escrevendo em inglês pra agradar. Beijos de luz.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Lincoln from The 100, smart, strong, and a great sole, it also helps that he is very handsome.
ReplyDeleteI don't see any complexity on rehashing the same concepts under a diferent setting. Being under a shitstorm doesn't make you a good character or complex, imho.
ReplyDeleteI don't get why people tend to justify liking a show by saying it's the best thing ever when you can like something just because you enjoy watching it... I like Supernatural, but it's not a Emmy worthy show, tbh.
I remember enjoying this crappy soap opera a few years back... It was BAD(all caps), but i like it. I didn't feel the need to say it was the best thing ever.
I love Arrow, yet i can tell you A THOUSAND things that are done horribly with the writing of the show.
that is because his first season don't finished yet
ReplyDeleteAlways Dean.
ReplyDeleteAlso really like Oliver, Bellamy and Sam here.
ah ok, rehashing does take out the complexity they started with, thus I agree - aswell with the rest. But some shows (good or bad) tend to catch you in more emotionally. I don't undestand statements "best ever" either but I catch myself getting defensiv on my favorite show (atm Arrow)
ReplyDeleteNo flash no vote :(
ReplyDeleteDean, Sam, Castiel, Oliver, and Stefan.
ReplyDeleteI like Jasper too and he and Monte have a nice dynamic especially in season 2 but I don't like them enough to include them in the list.
ReplyDeletewhen you catch up tell me who is your favourite character :D
Bellamy! Though I'd be fine if Damon won. :)
ReplyDeletedid they mentioned the first season has to be done?!
ReplyDeletei didn't saw any rules for their choices.
Klaus, Elijah, Stefan (far away from Mystic Falls and dumb women)
ReplyDeletePS It's like 10th TVD related USD poll since the beginning of December and it feels like some kind of whisper marketing
I like most of them, but voted for Bellamy Blake :)
ReplyDeleteUmm I don't agree with this statement and I like Amel. But it would be interesting to see what Jensen can do with complex material, cause SPN as of now is a mix bag.
ReplyDeleteJohn Diggle ;)
ReplyDeleteQuentin Lance is the correct answer.
ReplyDeleteKlaus. :-)
ReplyDeleteOther: Barry Allen - The Flash
ReplyDeleteOther: Vincent Keller - Beauty and the Beast
Oliver Queen - Arrow
Other: Barry Allen--The Flash
ReplyDeleteI voted Damon. (of course) But I really wanted to choose Oliver. lol There's a lot up there i like, but if i had to choose other, it'd be Diggle, Barry, and Cisco!!
ReplyDeleteOther: Vincent Keller - Beauty and the Beast
ReplyDeleteDamon salvatore before Klaus mickaelson ?! They didn't ask who is the hottest but who is the best character ? i think that some people don't see the difference...
ReplyDeleteYou could vote other, then comment on who you voted for, it would be counted as well.
ReplyDeleteDean.
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me Elijah of course. I love Daniel GIllies he is my favorite he is one of the reasons I love the show. Elijah is the most caring he puts everyone feelings beyond himself and that's what I love about him and at times I wish that he would think of himself. So yea Elijah for me
ReplyDeleteWhere is Wade Kinsella?
ReplyDeleteDean, always.
ReplyDeleteOliver just isn't there for me yet (neither is Amell, which may have something to do with it). Maybe after a few more seasons. I'd argue for Quentin Lance, though, as far as supporting characters go.
WHERE IS BARRY ALLEN?
ReplyDeleteBob Morley as Bellamy Blake, of course!! :)
ReplyDeleteAgree with this all! Clarke is my fav but Bellalmy is my 2nd fav.
ReplyDeleteAs of right now Bellamy is leading ! Lol
ReplyDeleteI'd take the results of these CW and couples polls with a grain of salt, because they are largely influenced by which online fan-base is the most vocal or which fan-base has the biggest agenda. I'm actually impressed that Oliver Queen stayed at #1 for so long,
ReplyDeleteIt's the "Beauty and the Beast" effect where all it takes is a few thousand determined online fans with a strong shipping agenda to dominate and falsely skew every poll and it tends to be fan-bases where the outcome of their favorite show or favorite ship is uncertain and it tends to be younger viewers.
OTHER: Jay Ryan
ReplyDeleteSPN boys will always be top for me.
ReplyDeleteHonorable Mention: Barry Allen, Oliver Queen, Finn (The 100)
My vote goes to Bellamy Blake from the 100.
ReplyDeleteHis character development since the first episode its hands down the best I've seen in years cause they didn't just play the "difficult childhood" card in order to make us care for him but we actually saw him feeling terrible for what he did.He asked for forgiveness ans he fought for it.He didn't deny that what he did was terrible but he genuinely changed and became a leader, someone who inspired the masses and cared for his people.
ReplyDeleteWe'll definitely see more of bellamy it seems!
ReplyDeleteGreat news ;)
ReplyDeleteAgree.
ReplyDeleteWinchester boys are the best!
ReplyDeleteBellamy is winning over dean!Wow!
ReplyDeleteKing Francis - Reign! =)
ReplyDeletePretty limited list of CW males.
ReplyDeleteI mean I get maybe the poster only watches 4 shows, but to not even include all the guys on those shows seems overly reductive.
ReplyDeleteSo true.
ReplyDeleteWhat show/character would you have included? :)
ReplyDeleteAh... the leviathans. Aka the season that never happened.
ReplyDelete=P
Demon Dean is in the newest season. They had a rough couple of seasons, but SPN X is doing good so far.
"He is quite bad."
ReplyDeleteI can't take your comment seriously after that line.
ReplyDeleteBellamy Blake all the way!
ReplyDeleteok. I will probably catch up with SPN at some point, when I have time left and don't want to start a new show.
ReplyDeleteBellamy Blake>??????? Sure He's better in S2. But still.... I know what your thinking!
ReplyDeleteThe lack of Crowley, Malcolm Merlyn, Quentin Lance, Barry Allen, Joe West & Harrison Ford makes this poll invalid.
ReplyDeleteBellamy Blake- the best character development, the best male cw character ever!
ReplyDeleteJensen Ackles is an incredible actor and brings the character of Dean Winchester to life he is totally believable and you forget that Dean is a fictional character! he is so good in fact that you can tell his emotions and what he is feeling by just looking at the expression on his face it's unbelievable, and I believe that Jensen Ackles Is one of the most unsung actors on TV. Supernatural is a great show with a lot of good actors and for the past 10 years Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki haVe developed these characters in such a way that they become part of your family. I love every single season...
ReplyDeleteI Totally Agree!!
ReplyDeleteTbh out of all of the Spn characters Castiel should be number one.
ReplyDeleteNumber one is Dean for sure! I love Arrow, Flash, VPD, Reign, The 100, and The Originals but SPN has been on the longest and ive been watching this show since I was 9! Dean Winchester is batman guys! XD
ReplyDeleteNumber one is Dean for sure!! I love Arrow, Flash, VPD, Reign, The 100, and The Originals but SPN has been on the longest and ive been watching this show since I was 9! Dean Winchester is batman guys!! XD
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteIt has turned into a fandom versus fandom poll, or maybe it always was! Glad that Dean has caught up hopefully he can make 4 more votes!
ReplyDeleteclearly Oliver Queen, no matter what some fanboys and -girls think
ReplyDelete*VOTES AGGRESSIVELY* SPN FANDOM VOTE DEAN
ReplyDeleteI love how polls like this just want to cause issues. Why pit Dean and Sam against each other EVERY TIME. Why pit Jensen and Jared against each other EVERY TIME. The same goes for TVD guys.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right. Destiel shippers in the SPN fandom are pretty damn loud and the writers seem to respond by reducing the number of Dean and Cas scenes, which makes Jensen and the viewers happy.
ReplyDeleteI never understand why Sam/Jared is in these things, most annoying character played by a talentless diva, but I guess looks get you everywhere
ReplyDeleteNot just that but the Dean character and Jensen's acting is very well done.
ReplyDeleteYeah but even if it sucked he'd win.
ReplyDeleteWow Sam and dean neck n neck. 😃
ReplyDeleteDamn! What are these CW polls?! Are you trying to kill me?! How do I choose?!
ReplyDeleteI love Bellamy, Klaus and Barry but I think I'm going for the man in my icon, Bellamy. :)
Not sure where you get the "talentless diva" from. Jared is a very sweet, down to earth guy! And he's got loads of talent, as evidenced in the season 8 finale and the first half of season 9 when he had to alternate between 2 different characters in under a second.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why you're so bitter.
ReplyDeleteSam Winchester.
ReplyDeleteYou are just jealous. who you think you are to decide who deserves and who doesn't, Sam is taking the lead here, but sure some ignorant hater like you think your opinion has more value than all who are voting for him.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, all the time I see polls including characters/actors I don't like, but I never was burned with hate and jealousy to bash them and their fans unlike you, and this says a lot about you and about how you are insecure about your favorite!
I knew he was on the run for Captain America, but i never heard of him "turning down the part". All i knew was the studio wanting to go with Chris Evans.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying he is like "bad BAD", but he isn't as good as the fandom makes him see.
Amazing how Castiel isn't even close to winning in a poll where you can only vote once.
ReplyDeleteI will give you that. Parts of the fandom put them on pedestals, but I will say that out of the shows that I do watch (and there's a number) Supernatural has the best actors.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I found the article and I was mistaken, had Evans not taken it Ackles would have, BUT, Joss did contact him about Hawkeye and that role he did turn down, according to this article anyway...http://www.comicbooktherapy.com/jensen-ackles-passed-role-avengers-187139
ReplyDeleteExactly!
ReplyDeleteSam Winchester is the entire package, let's be real.
ReplyDeletePoor Cas. Sucks when a poll only allows for one vote per person.
ReplyDeleteThe poll votes are more accurate when it's only 1 vote per person though. Otherwise, it's unfair because fans of 1 character could be more enthusiastic with the voting, and fans of the other character might be less enthusiastic. It's better with 1 vote per person.
ReplyDeleteOh I know. I was kinda being sarcastic, because the shippers/Minons love to vote multiple times in polls with him them, especially shipping ones. And then claim because of the poll win, that everyone wants to see Destiel canon, and all that nonsense.
ReplyDeleteDean Winchester......!1!1!
ReplyDeleteOh! Haha, sorry, I guess I misunderstood your post. But I totally agree with you! It's super annoying when Destiel shippers claim that because they won a poll, it's totally proof that it should be canon. Glad to know I'm not alone out here!
ReplyDeleteI think why Destiel shipper are obsessed with polls (especially the ones you can vote repeatedly and endlessly) is because 1) they're in the minority according to their own census, which is 1% of the fandom, and 2) there is next to no textual or on-screen stuff to support their ship, so they scream and holler about polls and falsely claiming that everyone wants to see it canon just to make themselves appear relevant, which they're not.
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful tribute. I noticed a tumblr site took this and posted it to their site , credited it back to you on this site, and it got 340 notes in twenty hour hours. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteJay Ryan = best male CW character. No question about it.
ReplyDeleteIt's all rather sad.
ReplyDeleteSam Winchester hands down! And as it should be dean Winchester taking second place! Either way it's Winchester all the way baby!
ReplyDeleteWinchester boys - The Best Team!
ReplyDeleteOf course it's gotta be Sammyy!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are super fucking sad xD
ReplyDeleteDean is ever simply awesome and astonishing.
ReplyDeletewell u have the results!! No one can defeat the Supernatural Fandom...And I am proud to be one of them!! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't watch SPN??...what do you mean by that?!..its the best show...i think even much better that TVD!!
ReplyDeleteim sorry but u have no taste...i mean hw can u call an actor like jensen bad? Have u ever watched him carefully?! He has the best acting skills ever!
ReplyDeleteNoup. Not watching it, have never even tried.
ReplyDeleteHuh? He is ok for a tv show, but nothing more. Why does he need to be a super star for you to enjoy the show? I LOVE SUPERNATURAL, but i don't have the need to say it's the best thing ever.
ReplyDeleteArrow's Season 3 was a mess, yet that doesn't change the fact that i love Arrow and i WANT Season 4 NOW.
ReplyDeleteIn mine, Jensen Ackles is one of the best actors I have come across. He can act professionally in every genre ! N I really think he deserves more than a TV show!
Well that's your point of you which in my opinion is quite bad!
ReplyDeleteBefore replying to my comment the next time first read it through.
ReplyDeleteI didn't express any kind of opinion. Just the fact that I didn't watch the show.
If U like the show watch it, don't attack other people cause they don't share Ur passion.
I personally LOVE Bellamy. But what happened to Barry Allen and Cisco?
ReplyDelete
