ReplyDeleteStill, i don't get why Oliver's death will make Laurel's rise as Black Canary "necessary", tbh. She can't take his place, so i'm very intrigued why they use that sentence, because they've been using it for quite a while! I'm quite curious! :D
Reign has become the biggest mess ever. Claude is going to try to steal back Bash? Her brother? What in the hell is that show even about? Glad I quit watching.

ReplyDeleteIdk, they said there's gonna be a lor of Roy/Digg on episodes 10, 11 and 12. Actually, Guggenheim said episode 10 is pretty much a Team Arrow episode(Digg/Felicity/Roy) and that episodes 11 and 12 are really Roy "heavy", since he will have to step in to take Oliver's place.

ReplyDeleteWich is what i don't get! Jajaja It doesn't make sense that Oliver's death makes Laurel "necessary". Oliver's death can make her pursue being a vigilante since it's another big lost for her(first Sara, then Tommy, then Moira, then Sara again and now Oliver), but how on Earth is that necessary now that he is gone? Digg and Roy uping up their game on the field is "necessary"...

ReplyDeleteI admit, like many others I'm sceptical towards the Laurel/Black Canary storyline, but how about first watch the episodes and complain later if you feel you have to? I for one look forward to everything Arrow has in store for us and hope for the best. Some parts I might like, some not so much, but I don't have to and that's ok. Arrow will remain my favorite TV show after all.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to get bitter again and think Sara died for this. Tommy died saving her. Kate Spencer died so Laurel could be the go to person of Team Arrow regarding the law (we could have had Manhunter just for a bit). Dont know why the cop died in S2 during Laurels big addiction storyline since it was never mentioned again. I am really trying to be objective but give me something to look forward to.

ReplyDeleteArrow looks downright epic. I am ignoring the Laurel transformation thing, enough was discussed about it already. I don't think it will take away from me loving those episodes.
I seriously try to be open minded about this, but every bit of info it's like a kick into my noble parts. I hope they don't pull any bullshit with this 3 episode arc regarding Laurel.

Agreed. I'm not going to judge Laurel as the Black Canary until I see it on screen, and personally, I hope she gets her ass kicked a lot this season and improving in time..

ReplyDeleteIt would be easier if her arc would make sense. If all the things that happened actually make sense. That after Sara died, she would start feeling frustrated with the justice system, had some failures in the court, had clients who couldnt get justice and then we see her slowly progress to seek justice as vigilante under the mentorship of Wildcat. But her suiting up being necessary at this point with the story we have been told this season is baffling. Especially when MG mentions that she is gonna get hit quite a lot. How did it became necessary? Because of that cringe-worthy scene in the dinner with her mother?
ReplyDeleteTVD-While i like they're moving along the stroline track somewhere,still hoping it's won't turn into a full-blown relationship,i absolutely hate that it took the last remaining parent's cancr/inevitable death to fulfill it-i thought delena romance was forced in season 3 but after seeing these two,i've changed my opinion.They are forced and artificial as hell.They destroyed a perfectly non-romantic relationship for catering to fan-servicing.As far as the merge is concerned,i'm pretty sure jo will bite the dust.Luke is not that much of a major character & there's no way they are going to get rid of liv & kai this early.As foe enzo,i was so wrong to think he would actually fall in love with sarah.Of course,he is a dysfunctional psycho/hot murderous vampire,how could be he capable of anything beyond lust?

I wonder what's the problem of TVLine with PoI? This isn't the first time that they completely left it out from a roundup. It can't be the channel, there are other CBS shows in the article, can't be the start date, because they include shows which won't come back for months and obviously can't be justified with the numbers, when eg. Nashville has managed to get onto the list.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny how the producer's keep backtracking. We had to put up with all of her terrible storylines after Tommy died because that was her crucible. Fans didn't jump in on her pity party though so they had to kill Sara to give her a new crucible.
Sweet I like when Ryan or Esposito gets an episode each season to focus on them so look forward to a Ryan centric one. Also PI Castle? Awesome. Although no NCIS:LA spoilers boo. I'm hoping some cool stuff goes down the last half of this season.

Praising the episodes as the best they ever done in regards to the episodes where your lead character, just makes me roll my eyes. I am still waiting on KCs Emmy worthy perfomance that he promised in 2x14. They should just stop using superlatives because one just gets disappointed.

ReplyDeleteArrow: I knew it, I knew they were going to put Laurel in TeamArrow, yes or yes. Something I don't want to see never. Very fast and unnecessary. It is simply ridiculous, all the characters around Laurel have to die so that she can do something, even the protagonist of this story has to ''die''. I don't know if laugh or mourn. This show is about the Arrow, the beginnings of Oliver Queen, not Laurel Lance's beginnings.

ReplyDeleteArrow-- As always i'm excited for everything except Laurel. All things Laurel, like i knew they'd do, no matter how much Marc denied it saying the first 3 wouldn't be Laurel centric. Yeah yeah, Roy centric my ass. I am very excited for Sin's return though, and as much as i love diverse scenes on the show, i'm just not on board with this specific diversity.
ReplyDeleteTBBT- I can't to see their tribute to Carol. I know i'll ball my eyes out. But i know they'll do it right. As for Shamy...I seriously think we'll have to wait til the series finale for them to have sex. Based on this info, i'm so positive we will now. But i soooo loved the ILY scene, and the gift exchanging, that was super sweet. I'm really looking forward to Leonard and Penny discussing living arrangements. Sheldon would have to get his own place, hahahaha omg that'll be reallyyyyyy interesting to watch.
SPN- I want Charlie back.
Bones-- This will be great. I'm for the Hodgins and Angela scenes! And a contact from Sweets??? hmmm.
Sleepy Hollow- I could care less about Jenny and Hawley getting it on. And even lesser about anything Katrina!! I want her gone soooo much. She's soooo boring. I'm over her, I'm over her and Henry, I'm over her and Abraham, and i'm DEFINITELY over her and Ichabod's crappy marriage issues. I want to get back to Team Witness! Where the real chemistry is. Together or apart. Doesn't matter, I want Abbie. That girl could have chemistry talking to a brick wall and still be more entertaining than Katrina....ok, i'm done, bring on Orion!! LOL 3 more hours til the show comes back!!
TVD- Steroline's relationship built around Liz's death...called that. Am I bothered by that? Eh, maybe a little. But then again he's just there for her as a friend, and she needs him. This is not the time for them to get romantic. BUT I'll still get to see them progress, and have incredibly sweet moments til the time comes. So i'm gooddddd. lol As for Bonnie, you know they keep talking about how she's gonna be all "badass and selfish" and blah blah blah. But i still feel like it's not going to happen. So i can't even get remotely interested in her arc, until i see some proof. I think Jo will merge, and die. Which i'll be pretty bummed about cuz it means Liv still gets to live. booo.
The Originals-- I want to see Hope so badly, her powers, everything that'll start changung as she ages. (just as long as she doesn't age rapidly). The rest i'm pretty sad over, idk i got pretty down, maybe b/c Claire is gone, and i'm over the body swapping now.
Gotham- Idc much for it, to read about it. Just give me more Selina, and more Edward. A little interested in the Asylum as well. Mostly the prisoners appearances, not that chick who heats up with Jim. But, go Jim! B/c seriously, Barbara is just..ughhhh!

ReplyDeleteThe Originals looks good somewhat. Baby Hope in danger so Haley marrying Jackson is not going to help I just feel that is the worst storyline. Being a Haley and Elijah fan I don't like the sound of reading that Haley and Jackson are going on a special journey. These writers like to play with my emotions. What now Elijah and Haley wont have a scene together, and did not read anything about my favorite Originals Elijah.

ReplyDeleteDon't name me 2x14, that episode is black listed for me. It was the the reason i droped faith on Laurel(after the fallout on the hallway she goes and gives him relationship advice the next episode? That goes to show they just change the character's convictions just to force her somewhere in the story 'cause they don't know what to do with her... Right now Laurel's personality was changed so many times that she ended up having none).
ReplyDeleteI want to see the episodes because i want to know what the hell is gonna happen, tbh. Not story-wise, but they said it was a Black Canary Trilogy and then they backed out and said it was a Team Arrow/Roy trilogy with some development on Laurel.
It was like they said "it's a Laurel trilogy" and they didn't get the medi response they were seeking(like all the articles on actual media websites for the premier, Felicity's episode or the cross-over), the only media i saw covering the BC story is IGN. Then they said "It's incredible! It's the best!" to try to excite people. Didn't work. And they did the "What? Who said it was a Laurel trilogy? It's Team Arrow and Roy".
I'm not a Laurel fan, but like i said before they are being total jerks with Katie Cassidy, who breaks her ass off in the gym and has to work with the crappy material they give her. Hats off to her, tbh. She doesn't deserve that.
I actually have a feeling all the girls on Arrow are working hard in the gym. They just dont post as many gym selfies as Katie. They have trainers on the set. Willa & Emily also have their own personal trainers. I find it somewhat insulting when people say only KC works hard in the gym.
ReplyDeleteOne thing is having a personal trainer to stay fit and other is having a schedule routine to get ripped. EBR, for example, you can see that loves going to the gym, the girl's legs and ass have a lot of work on them, and i thank her every wednesday for that(i'm sure she's someone who actually likes to go to the gym as a hobby). Yet KC routine is quite different(more like Stephen Amell's workout routine) and you can notice based on the type of body they're archieving(i like EBR's body more thou).
ReplyDeleteNow that i said that, i wasn't trying to offend you; my point is that even with the horrible writing she has to work with, KC still gives her 100% to the role. It's one thing that doesn't seems fair to me.
When everi I see her posting those selfies all i can think is she leaves out leg day. And Stephen is all about leg day.
ReplyDeleteEmily was training as a gymnast while she was younger, she was also yoga teacher before she got the role on Arrow. So i think she trains just as hard. Willa/Emily actually have the same trainer, who is a wrestler and seems to be known in the Arrow family. He was at the Arrow christmas party.
Yeah i have to disagree about Katie. Yeah the writing for her is attrocious. But she also has problems grasping or just knowing her character. For me i see the actress more often than the character she is supposed to portray.
It's not about if they have the same trainer, but the routine they do xD It's just different.

My point is that she isn't a lazy worker, she seems to works as hard as the other castmates. So it's annoying to see her being the worst written character by an abismal difference.

Well, we can see that because of the type of body each is building. KC's gym routine and diet is about getting ripped, getting more fibrous muscles. It's more like Stephen Amell and Caity Lotz's gym routine.
ReplyDeleteEBR's is diferent and you can see it in her body. She has a more fitness type. I personally think woman have better body by doing fitness(especially considering what it does to the legs and the ass) than lifting weight.
I've never said one did more work than the other... I just said she breaks her ass off in the gym, wich is true, so it would be nice if the writers put the same atention to the character as she does. I never mentioned another co-star or anything, you did that xD

TO: Good to know they're addressing the fact that Baby Hope is extraordinary. Klaus is supposed to need more than a werewolf to create a hybrid, and those typically can't sire anything. Of course Hope will probably just sporadically use compulsion or magic, or we might see signs of a vampire and/or werewolf side. Anything that was said about her having vamp or wolf "genes" was off-screen and probably subject to change. It looks like Hayley really will marry Jackson. Woo-hoo!
TVD: Does it need to be said that Elena is on the phone with Damon? Is it me or was Elena really irritated with Tyler for preventing her from saving Bonnie? She looked like she wanted to throttle him. I'd like to know how they get Bonnie out. Maybe Old Man Parker will show up again to lock Kai away. I'm curious about what Kai wants with Elena, if there's really any purpose to the kidnapping. A psychopath doesn't need an excuse. The "major character" who kicks the bucket could be Liz, but is she really a major character? I don't think Liv is a major character either, but I sort of hope Luke is the one left standing after the merge. If this is the last season, or second to last, I hope Elena dies and somehow resurfaces in a new body. She makes a terrible vampire, let's see what she's got as a witch. She is a Petrova. After what Katherine pulled last season and the whole mess with Kai, I think anything can happen, with or without the Other Side. Liz will probably die of Cancer, but she might not be the only one who gets killed off.
I see Bonnie's lack of selflessness as hope that we might see Bamon happen after all. Bonnie won't be worried about upsetting Elena like she was in the books.

ReplyDeleteI hope caroline hooks up with enzo coz that helps me in two way-1.I have no intention of watching steroline hook up,i like them as BFFs & it should stay that way but it won't in the long run,i know that.So,for now carenzo is better.2.I'm sure the moment steroline do the deed,they will regret it.Now,we suffered through all that delena realtionship melodrama for the whole of season 5,i can't deal with the same thing for steroline too another long season!
ReplyDeleteAs for the merge,think of it this way,among all the siblings,we all care about jo more or less in some way.no body will care if liv/luke dies.They won't get rid of kai this early before finale.That leaves the other series regular,none of them are kicking the bucket before finale,if that happens altogether.So that leaves only jo,no one else to die.
As for elena's character,the main issue is not whether she wanted or not to a vampire,the main problem is she makes every situation about her & constantly tries to create melodrama.She was such a strong personality in the 1st 2 seasons but as a vampire,all of her personality traits should've been enhanced but it happened the other way.And yes,being/wanting to b in a toxic relationship like delena isn't helping either.I don't want her back with stefan ever even though i was an avid stelena fan in the earlier seasons but now i want to see her deal with her own problems in her own way,not by playing damsel in distress every time.As for example,now that kai has kidnapped her,i give u guarantee that the boys will jump for her rescue & save bonnie mission will be postponed for now.Being a vampire means being strong in some way-mentally & physically but her issues seems to be increasing with each passing week.She even made damon rescuing bonnie about her.The hatred for her character is completely justified IMo.I,for one,will be over the moon if she leaves the series for good & caroline takes over.
Chris brochu & Penelope are not series regular(there are 10 for season 6-The trio,caroline,alaric,enzo,jeremy,bonnie,tyler & matt),neither is jodi.So,you're wrong on this regard.
ReplyDeleteAs foe bonnie,she won't appear until 13,being absent in both episode 11 & 12.So,i really don't think elena will be kept hostage for two long episodes.Sh WILL be rescued before bonnie,mark my words.
As for delena,all the TVD writers & Julie-caroline are obsessed with delena,they would die before they make elena get involved with someone else romantically.That's why they got rid off that liam character.I absolutely hate it but even i,everyone in TVD verse knows that delena will be endgame,there's no other way around it,period.
As for kai,i really think bonnie would be the one to take him down once and for all,whenever that happens.Enzo already died as a guest star in the last season,so they won't do the same thing in this one when he is made a series regular,it would be pointless,so he's safe.
Haylijah has caused people to forget the kind of person Hayley is. Hayley is very selfish and manipulative, especially when it comes to her own family. Sleeping with Elijah five seconds after telling him she's engaged is further proof of this. Jackson is more on Hayley's level because he's not blind to who she really is, and he's still a good guy who loves her. Elijah loves the idea of Hayley that he's concocted in his mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened in the winter finale doesn't change anything. Finn can even help Esther out of her vampire body, making her a witch again. Kol is still manipulating Davina, he just took it to the next level. It's hard to say exactly what his plan is. At the moment it seems like he's having fun with another malleable witch. The last episode was meant to please fans and shippers for Christmas, but the real story will continue again in a couple of weeks.
