  1. I actually agree with this, and I like Jeremy. Bonnie hasn't mentioned Jeremy once this season. If they were going to send someone to talk Bonnie out of suicide, it should be Damon or Elena, who she's actually spent time with and mentioned this season.

  2. they're asking Kai for help? you gotta be kidding me, that bastard better bring her back!!!!

  3. Ugh...Jeremy is the one they're sending to rescue/talk to Bonnie?!?! That makes no sense.
I'll be glad once his character finally leaves.

  4. Kai throws tantrums when he don't get his way

  5. I wonder whats in it for Kai. why is he helping them?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Wow. Kai is gonna help?? That's weird!!!

  7. maybe he wants to see his girl again? LOL

  8. And now My worst fears are coming true-I really hope thiisn't the beginning of another redeemable villain arc.We already had that with Klaus. But yay,we get to BONNIE again. The writers finally remembered that she's still in this show!

  9. Hahaha "UseTheForceLuke" Cute. = )

  10. Looks like Luke's still around after all, and using his influence to drive Kai crazy. #useTheForceLuke :)

  11. He's slapping himself, I think Luke is messing with him.

    ReplyDelete
  12. whoa you're right, that always freaks me out for some reason

    ReplyDelete
  13. i don't think so, they're pretty adamant of having a truly unredeemable psychotic villain

    ReplyDelete
  14. I hope you're right.I like him just as he is.No redemption necessary.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well how bout that? We actually agree on something. Twins! winning! Hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  16. Kai always winning and being evil is starting to bore me death, hopefully they are added more to his character soon. And it is about time that Bonnie comes back!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I agree with both of you, anyone but Jeremy would be better. But it's like a thing, when a main character leaves, they need at least a little focus, and here's hoping this links to Steven R McQueens exit storyline and it's happening sooner rather than later, and when Bonnie does get back we won't have to deal with any Beremy before Jeremy fucks off.

  18. what more can you add to a psychopath?

    ReplyDelete
  19. She will,in episode 15-just when Jeremy has left this town forever!

  20. It looks like they're going to ask Kai to help bring Bonnie back. He's terrible, but he's been useful lately, and he does have a habit of winning. I wonder what his price will be this time.

  21. I don't know but but I am tired of seeing him always win, also his snarky comments are getting old. So he can deliver a two liner, check! Otherwise for a villain he is kinda plain. Besides being alone for that long, he could crave for some human interactions other than torturing people. I am looking forward to something new not just snarky comments and killing.

  22. NOOO. JEREMY GET OUT ! if anyone should save Bonnie it has to be Damon ! I miss them together

  23. you know what you're basically saying right? you want him redeemed. The winning part i get and it sucks but there's a reason why this villain is different than every single villain this show's ever had: he's a total sociopathic, psychotic person that doesn't care about other people. Elena even asked him that he can care about an inanimate object but not about the people he kills. He's sort of like The Joker who people say has no origin for what he is. Kai is just that: someone who has no compassion, love (only for himself, like he said), remorse, and just enjoys murdering and torturing people, and laughs while he does it, he reveled in telling Bonnie and Damon in how he killed his siblings and in telling Elena how he killed the Manager of The Mystic Grill. So there's nothing to add because that's just who he is and there's no point in looking for something in him because he just doesn't care about craving human interaction. His pastime is probably laughing while torturing someone and leaving them alive to trick them into thinking he's letting them live and then just killing them. Sorry for the rant, just had to get that out.

  24. I'm glad it's Jeremy - just recently I complained that the little eff hasn't done anything to help her, so... yay.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I understand that but I too am getting tired of Kai - the total psycho approach IS refreshing and fun, but I wish he would have more surprising, 'Oh, shit!', kills and actually shocked me? I like that. But how to be shocked when I know he's capable of anything? Just makes me miss Season 1 Damon kills - when he killed Vicky and then Lexi I was genuinely startled. And killing Jeremy - pure awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  26. You found Damon killing jeremy awesome!?!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't want him redeemed, but maybe trying and failing or at least doing anything different besides killing. IMO it is too easy for him, he always succeeds. I think him being drugged was a good start, but he was that for five second, and nothing came out of it. And now he killed Luke just like that, I want him to have more obstacles.. I mean what now? We were told once he merges, nothing can stop him... we still have 10 more episodes to go... Kai just loves himself and likes killing, that is simply too plain for me. IMO that doesn't makes him a great villain just boring. Klaus at least had way more to offer.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Klaus at least had different layers of personalities, Kai could stick around a little longer than one season if they would make a bit more interesting. What will happen at the end? Will they blow him up? I mean is there any way to kill him actually?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Killing Jeremy was unexpected, and kind of a strange move considering Damon was in love with his sister. So it opened another storyline at that time. For the record I don't want Kai redeemed, but I think they could add more to his character ... whatever that might be.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Of course there is,we just don't know what that is for now.I'm pretty sure Bonnie will be the one to bring him down once and for all & would die in the process coz it would require all of her power/magic to do so in the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Just one scene between Bonnie and Damon...Just one. That's all I'm asking for. JUST ONE!
Those two were the best thing this season...along with Kai of course. Bring their scenes back!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Haters always gonna hate. It is a vampire show after all, lots of killing. There is no point in bringing real life logic into it. Both Salvatore brothers killed so many people, but killing Jeremy was too much? I still enjoy the show right now, what ever happened in past seasons is in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  33. That is about time, I miss Bonnie!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I get that but that's the reason i'll never be okay with this relationship.I hate elena, like damon, despise their relationship.Rest of the show-i love.

    ReplyDelete
  35. But it also opened this never ending argument for anti-delena fan-How can someone fall in love with a person who killed your baby brother!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes, from the point of view of its effect on me as a viewer. The fact that it was such a HORRIBLE thing to do was what made it so shocking. The whole episode Damon was getting more and more emotionally pathetic until the culmination in Elena's bedroom when I was so uncomfortable I was cringing and didn't think the situation could get worse - and then he KILLED JEREMY. I was so shocked I had to pause the episode. It's like I had watched Season 1 without having any conscious desire to see Damon redeemed, or be anything really other than entertaining, and yet at that moment I realized I totally did? Perversely, it made me actually feel for the character. I'm not a well person, apparently.

I like it when fiction sets me up to feel something unexpected. And TVD has had quite a few such moments for me (although also massive fails). So I guess I was kind of expecting Kai to be.... more? Villainy needs to escalate or evolve.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Aww, come on - you don't like the shock value of TVD? The fact that Jenna actually died, that Klaus killed Carol, Stefan turned into a ripper and so on and on?

    ReplyDelete
  38. WOW!I didn't expect this kind of explanation at all.Well, good for you.

    ReplyDelete
  39. You're describing my top 3 worst moments of TVD.(twist wise).LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. Haha, why the worst? And what were the best ones, if I may ask?

    ReplyDelete
  41. 1.Kat's return & chopping of john's fingers.
2.The originals backstory reveal, the Sun and the moon curse is fake.
    3.Katherine backstory.
Basically the entire season 2 except the finale. It was pure brilliance!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I wonder if there was any truth to what Daddy Parker when he said the souls of the twins merge...which could mean that Kai absorbed Luke good nature.

    ReplyDelete
  43. a psychopath IS plain, like i said they don't have any emotion so there's no way to more to them they just like maiming, murdering, and torturing

    ReplyDelete
  44. by having him on more than one season they would redeem him instead of having a full-blown villain, so having a one season Big Bad, you don't risk having him overstaying his welcome

    ReplyDelete
  45. Haha, it's funny how opposite our opinions are. I usually find backstories tedious (even if later on they become interesting) and for me the finale of Season 2 (the last two episodes) were fantastic. But the chopping off of John's fingers I can definitely agree on - it was great.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why is Kai helping them? That makes no sense. Guess I'll have to wait and see to see how that goes down.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm with you CJ why are they sending Jer., except that his character is leaving the show so this is his official send off. Maybe the writers will add some sorta twist that it has to be a human or something so Jer. is the logical choice. They need to wrap up his character on the show and his relationship with Bonnie...at this point I just want Bonnie back.

    ReplyDelete
  48. That is actually very clever of Papa Parker to throw in at the last minute about 2 souls becoming 1. So will Kai want to exercise Luke from him to get back to his true villain self? I suppose I should not be surprised the writers are using an old story line since we had evil Alaric, travelers jumping into MF town folk and Katherine jumping into Elena.
Just for fun... what if Kai/Luke = Kaike?? begins to show interest to some of the guys on the show = Stefan, Matt, Enzo?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Kai has some of Luke's characteristics now. and Luke's first instinct was to help other people especially and weirdly MFG.
