    Her plan isn't going to work. I got a clearer look at the promo, and that was definitely Luke in a black leather jacket, merging with Kai. I'm certain now that Luke will be the one to take matters into his own hands because Liv would rather fool around with Tyler than stop Kai, and Jo would die instantly if she tried. It might not be a merge per se, but Kai is going to kill Luke by taking all of his power, ruining the merge ceremony and making Kai the leader of his coven. This explains JP's spoiler about Alaric falling in sweet, sweet love. Even if Jo dies, it won't be in a merge.

    As we all know by now,luke will MERGE with kai,therefore getting killed in the process.Jo WILL survive for now.
