  2. Aww I got really excited for a second then and thought it was the French series.

  3. I was hoping it would be the French version, but I'm looking forward to checking this one out so I'll give it a go.
Wait... that's Bates Motel's timeslot. Maybe A&E is moving BM to 9?

  5. I have yet to see the French one (decided to wait till after I see this one), but am looking forward to see what Carlton Cuse does with this great cast and glad I don't have to wait too long! I wish Mark Pellegrino the best of luck in a leading role!

  7. The French series is amazing, and even if this series is only half as good as the original, it will still be very good IMO. You are correct that the cast is very strong, and it will be interesting to see what changes they make from the original and what they keep. Hopefully posters will not be jerks about posting spoilers from the original series, something I did see at other sites with Gracepoint.

  8. Did the exact thing last year with Those Who Kill and than pulled that show after two weeks. I actually was hoping they would air the Returned at 10pm after airing the full season of Bates Motel and use those 10 weeks to promote the premiere of The Returned.

  9. Ya, I mean I'm ok with spoilers anyways should they be discussed, but just for atmospheric/stylization/cultural-difference reasons, I think I'll wait, but I actually didn't enjoy Gracepoint nearly as much as Broadchurch for those reasons, but I'm hoping this will be different simply because I feel I can trust Carlton Cuse in his ability to adapt/expand work/tell an interesting story. :)

  10. Looking forward to this show, but I'm a bit cautious because it's on A&E. They have this habit of cancelling shows that are doing well.

  11. Be original. Make remake.
