    The actors have an 11 year age difference, Stephen and Emily on Arrow have a 10 year age difference. The captain could be a year or two younger, Pied Piper could be a year or two older. As long as they're both consenting adults and Hartley is in his 20's, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I've seen worse age differences in couples in both tv and movies.


    Personally I think it could be a really cool story line if he IS the Captain's boyfriend- can you imagine the angst of him going Rogue and being a villain? Plus eventually Pied Piper goes straight (well, he abandons crime and reforms) so it could be a whole arc for those two.

    Oh I have no problem with it. I want them to be a pre established couple. It would give the captain some more dimension. I would have liked it more if they have casted a little bit older looking dude. As it is I find it difficult to see Caitlin and Cisco as accomplished scientists. But Andy Mientus is a great actor. He will do good.

    I'd prefer them to be a pre-established couple as well, I definitely think it would give the captain more dimensions and a small story line going on. Danielle is a year younger than Andy, to be fair to him. I guess Dr. Wells likes them young? He knows who they are in advance, head hunts them before they're established or known, grooms them, mentors them, which is easier to do when they're younger and impressionable. We saw a bit of his dynamic with General Eiling, I wonder what his dynamic with Dr. Stein was like. At least that's my headcanon, obviously the CW likes to cast young people for their shows.

    You are right. These are genius people in their field and Dr. Wells nips them as soon as they are out of the college. Like he said he even kept track of Felicity because she showed promise.


    It is clear that Harrison Wells is the friend Martin Stein went to talk to for funds for his research and some how ended up in the particle accelerator blast thus pushing his consciousness to Ronnie. Now the question is whether Harrison Wells trapped professor Stein there or was it a coincidence he went there and the thing blew up.

    Wait, what funds for his research? Is that something that was discussed in the last episode, which I didn't see yet, because I'm drawing a blank on that fact. With Wells, I'm not sure if anything is a coincidence or not, he could have known that Martin Stein and Ronnie become Firestorm and got them to the same location for that purpose.

    LOL, it's ok, I'm waiting on my family to watch both Flash and Arrow, so I'll probably only be able to watch them on Friday/Saturday. Sometimes it sucks getting your family to watch something with you.

    It happens in the comics he becomes the boyfriend of the captain but I believe that happens after he goes straight.

    Ahh.. That makes sense. We did saw Hartley/Pied Piper's parents this episode. So most probably any connection he have will be to them.
