I'm glad they see The Americans going at least five seasons.
ReplyDeleteAlso thrilled that the TCAs are over because this is exhausting and I can't imagine how much worse it is for the critics.
Any clues on what AHS 5th season will be about?
ReplyDeleteWell in the tweet they say book instead of season, that possibly could be some sort of clue. probably not though.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Bastard Executioner gets ordered to series! Would love to see Katy Segal back on TV, and another series written by Kurt Sutter!
ReplyDeleteHmmm a Library! *-* Scary
ReplyDeleteI hope for a present time story! With the amount of "oldies" in the show now the could do a cursed farm, village or something.
So excited for S2 of Fargo sounds fab. Hoping for many seasons of the Americans.
ReplyDeleteStart working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Thursday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go? to tech tab for work detail>>>>>

FX just highlighted why FOX will never rebound fully. All of the projects that FOX executives view as quality are purposely given to FX, not FOX. FOX is forced to take leftovers not fit for FX broadcast. It's completely counter intuitive to progress.
ReplyDeleteThe Americans really needs some recognition , teh emmys, the golden adn everything else are looking over them and it has step up since season one.
ReplyDeleteIm glad they ahve a plan if they see it going through 5 seasons then im happy.
Any clues on what si gonna be about the next season of AHS?
If the pitch is heard by Fox Studios, they have the ability to decide if it's a project for FOX's slate or FX's slate. There isn't a distinction made until the development executive makes it. Once that decision is made, its path is forged.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the concerning issue here is that the development executive is making this decision with a division on quality. Higher quality to FX, lower quality to FOX. There's isn't any specific reason why American Horror Story couldn't have ended up on FOX but the fact that one call led it to that network. That division shouldn't exist but FX clearly was quoted as proving that it does exist.
With AHS on Wednesdays ama The Bastard Executioner probably taking over SoA's timeslot I wonder what night Fargo will be on? Will it follow suit of The Strain and new on Sunday nights?
ReplyDeleteSame goes for Sons of Anarchy. Completely ignored except for 1 Golden Globe win for Best Actress for Katey Sagal. They've deserved so much more over the years.
ReplyDeleteI like how John thinks by giving all the shows a 2 Season trial and if the ratings are good after S2 ends then S3 is born lol.
ReplyDeleteWasn't expecting Fargo to come back in the fall, kind of a long wait, but considering my life is upside at the moment, maybe this will be better for me... Would like to catch up with Tyrant and surprisingly nothing about The Strain????
ReplyDeleteI didn't get this tweet.

So the only things said about AHS are that it's the fifth season and it will premiere in October. I did not see these spoilers coming! *End of sarcasm*
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see how it plays out without Jessica Lange, I like her but they always ends up making her play the same type of woman. I hope it's set in the 1800s.
They moved You're the Worst to FXX after the first season so I think they were addressing that.
