    Something tells me Charlie is going to be another mirror for Dean. A look into what darkness can do. another suggestion, possibly a foreshadow?

    I really, really hope there's something legitimately wrong with Charlie (possession, spell, evil twin, bad potato salad, whatever) and that she didn't just go dark-side for the sake of setting up a nice parallel for Dean. She's been through a lot, and though she's toughened up, her innate goodness hasn't suffered. To do a 180 now seems way too forced. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
