  1. I like evil Charlie so much better than geeky Charlie. Sounds like she's keeping the real Charlie hostage somewhere if she isn't possessing her. Looks good so far.

  2. Good god...what a terrible actress -,-
Seirously, there're actors that just don't act very well but then there're people with non-trained voices and terrible facial acting like this

At least they're not forcing that "geeky" self of hers on us again

  3. I think the introduction of Oz falls into my personal top five mistakes of this series. It just doesn't work or make sense in the Supernatural universe. I hope revisiting this story fixes the problem, not compounds it.

  4. I heard one of the writers of this show is married to a writer from OUAT so they may have been sharing ideas lol

  5. I think she might be one of those actors who are only able to portray one type of character, but to be fair, terrible acting could also be a result of terrible directing.

  6. nothing exciting about it... probably possesion, nothing more

  7. She kicked Dean’s ass way too easily unless Dean is really trying to hold back because of the mark.

Charlie commenting on Sam’s good guy code is interesting in light of episode 10.01 Black.

Dar: I heard the rumors, I said, 'no that can't be. A Winchester one of us?' Whatever soul you had, whatever Boy Scout codes you cuddled up to at night. It's all gone. Leaving what? Look at you.

Felicia’s acting was a bit off. The character she portrayed was maybe too much of a stereotypical villain.

  8. Man, I need to watch this season from the beginning ASAP. I didn't even remember that scene.

I love Supernatural and I just want to see this episode for my incredible Winchester brothers, not for anything else. Charlie bored me a while! I have nothing against her but I think the writers have given more importance to an unnecessary character like Charlie. I don't understand, she was in OZ, her story was finished and now she returns. SPN should focus on more important things and not lose number of episodes for unnecessary characters. The problem is that Supernatural has killed so many interesting characters and now they don't have many good characters. I wish the writers resurrected interesting and strong characters like Bobby, Ellen and Jo... They don't need to bring back Charlie over and over.

  10. We don't know what kind of monster evil Charlie is yet. She's from "Oz", so maybe she's supposed to be a stereotypical caricature of a villain, or something.

  11. I guess I'm the odd one out here, because I somewhat like Charlie, and think this looks interesting. Even got a little giggle from her one upping him. I do believe Dean is holding back, for good reason, but it didn't seem odd that they got beat. They really are just human, and as trained as they are, they're not expert assassins or something. They can be beat or make mistakes.

  12. Also, maybe because it's Charlie he's holding back. He's just trying to subdue her, not hurt her.

  13. ok seriously what the heck happened in Oz

  14. they said there's more Witches in Oz so maybe she's one of them

  15. I
think there's two Charlie, one evil witch!Charlie and one good Charlie -
or Charlie's been split into two personalities: One good, one evil.

  16. 'all talk no bite'?! eeehhhh, that hasn't been the Winchesters for a long time now; these days they bite left and right and even when it's not strictly necessary....

But isn’t the mark supposed to make Dean into a better fighter? He seemed to have improved reflexes in 9.12 Sharp Teeth (he had gotten the mark in the previous episode) etc.

  18. Could it be possible that the good and evil witches of Oz are split personalities?

  19. I guess I'm in the minority perhaps, because I actually love Charlie a lot and it's refreshing that the Winchesters have someone like her in their family and in the lives.

Someone who is far outside the situation, like Jodie and Charlie are, who can go "That's actually pretty fucked up, you do realized that right?" Or "I heard about what happened, are you okay? You can talk to me about it", just a third person perspective to give insight.

Charlie especially has always been, in my opinion, such a character of light and goodness, she might just be what the Winchesters need right now.

As far as Felicia's acting, I think Charlie is possessed or has had a personality split into two or both, done by the evil witch - one uber good Charlie like "Glenda the good witch" and one uber evil like "the Wicked Witch". Which would explain the over-acting of being evil, the evil witch is supposed to be an over-the-top Vanderville evil acting villain.

As far as Dean holding back, I think he's trying to take to heart what Sam said & fight the effects of the Mark. She's their family and they don't don't want to hurt her, so while Dean certainly could have kicked her ass, he held back and just tried to restrain her, so they could sit her down and talk to her. Charlie having unexpected moves like that threw him off guard, so even when she put him in the chokehold, he was still trying not to hurt her.

They don't know what's wrong with her, if this is REALLY her and she's snapped or if she's possessed or if it's a shifter, etc. They wouldn't hurt her, at least until they knew what was wrong with her and if she was herself or could be saved.

I'm interested to see how this episode turns out, it's clear Dean snaps during a fight with her, cause he's leaning over her unconscious body & got bleeding knuckles in a pic.

I'm guessing he'll kill her or beat her to a pulp without knowing there are two of them and he'll be horrified with himself, horrified that he even COULD kill her, someone he views as close family, and he'll put himself under house arrest at the bunker and tell Charlie, Cas and Sam to stay away from him or at least be careful around him.

  20. Yes, that possible. One pure good and one pure evil.

  21. That is another thing I hate about this Mark story? There is no consistency to the Mark, how it works, what it does, etc.

Yes, she can be anything weird. Still, her performance in this scene is very bad even when maybe she's a stereotypical caricature. But we'll see soon what happens :)
