I will pay money to see Sam or Dean bitch slap Metatron and then I'll pay money to never, ever have to see him on SPN again. He is the absolute worst character they've had in 10 years. Worst villain, worst character and worst waste of a story line.
This looks pretty good. I wonder if Dean will end up killing Metatron or what will happen. I'm definitely intrigued. Can't wait for Supernatural to return next week. :)
Poor Jared lurking around being useless, the only thing he does in the ep is call Cas's plan stupid and then helps capture Metatron. He'll no doubt be in the wrong about everything. I think I'll skip the lame brothers chit chat, tired of whoa is me Dean and useless/pointess face pulled Sam. I hope Jared enjoyed his days off.
What do the writers have against Sam/Jared? Is it really so much less interesting to write for Sam than it is to write for Dean/Jensen? Ironic considering the show’s roots.
Yes, that's correct, and thanks for asking. No commentary intended on our current SPN reviewers, but I liked the balance we had hast year in having one reviewer who leans toward Dean, one who leans forward Cas, and one who leans toward Sam. That was a major consideration when I decided to resign my reviewer slot. Time was a factor, and questions about the planning that goes into this show - which led me to further question the time I was committing - were factors.
With that said though, I'm still a reviewer for this site, and with the site owner's permission can continue to publish one-off features on this show, which I've been doing since the summer after season 6. To be honest, my favorite articles were the one-offs, and were maybe my best work (evil laugh). I've considered writing an occasional column on random thoughts on the show and have a draft on the first half sitting on my computer, but I held off on publishing it because I'm ambivalent on where I am with the show and whether I'm going to watch when it comes back.
Yeah. But this is what you get when every other episode is "poking fun" at the series itself or bringing back characters that never contributed to the story at all. Having said that, I'm quite excited about this episode. I hope they can finally get rid of Metatron and start focusing on THIS season's storyline.
This would be a good word of discussion why some people judge photos/promos before hand and why some that comment might have issues with some of those that like Sam or any other character? It is not only Sam issue.
Some of them not all, BASH (insert character) (insert writer) (insert actor) in the name of Sam. Or because THEY don't like the show (It is not like they want it) it should end. If they say that I am also allowed to say: "Stop watching the show". It is the same thing then for you that it would end. But this all sorry, that makes us NOT care about your point or more drastic just ignore it all together. Some of us even might start to hate the character/actor because of these fans.
These people's comments are usually hostile and you seem clairvoyant of what Sam should be (only your point counts) predict what Jared is thinking (You are not Jared so don't speak for him. You don't know what he thinks) And don't care about the show at all except Sam hense bashing everything else.
Like it or not your agenda (you don't get all what you want nor your agenda is not the only one. Fact of life) and Sam is not whole Supernatural in this case. He is part of it. I am sure these people are all around not only with Sam.
I am a Sam girl but I don't bash everything else because of him. And for the record. How he is on this season is perfectly fine for me. I don't see the issue. And believe me, I have issues but I don't yell it to other people from mountain top.
People don't own the Supernatural. Any part of it and they also should realize that. And specially not put words and predictions to other people's mouths.
Well, I think we can pretty much guess what happens in this episode. Castiel suggests that Metatron must know a way to remove the MoC. hence Sam saying it is a bad idea, because Dean is going to be tempted to kill the angel. We have a first interrogation scene with Sam, Dean and Metatron and of course nothing will come out of it, just Metatron mocking Dean. Later we get a second one, Dean and Metatron only. Dean locks the door so he can torture Metatron without interruptions. That's when Castiel destroys the door to save Metatron.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Damn, Dean look so good here.
ReplyDeleteI just want the Metatron stuff to be over.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the same thing. I know Jared teases Jensen because he's so photogenic but damn. He is!

ReplyDeleteI wonder why it looks like Cas is trying to help Metatron escape?
ReplyDeleteCouldn't have said it better myself.
ReplyDeleteSo....Castiel won't want Metatron to help him....but he's fine with getting Metatron to help with Dean's situation?
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, if it was on me I'd banish the entire angelic race (minus Cas, who NEEDS to stay) back to heaven to never be seen again
ReplyDeleteWorst waste of an amazing actor. If you get Steve from American Dad you damn well use him right!
ReplyDeleteGoddd! I want Metatron dead Sooo badly!!! I can't stand his face anymore! (Nothing against the actor I like him, just not here.)

OMG MY DEAN! :O I need to see this now!!! :D Thanks for the photos! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Metatron is is the Winchester's bitch this season! lol
ReplyDeleteI believe he plays Snot, Steve's torn jean jacket wearing, dorky friend.
ReplyDeletehe does, I totally got that wrong :O

ReplyDeleteBecause Leming-Ross & Buckner wrote it? Angels, reapers and demons are all the same now. Didn't you see the press release?
ReplyDeleteDidn’t you use to write reviews of the episodes? It would be nice to have a reviewer who likes Sam and gets him or at least tries to.

Anyway, a long answer for a short question. :)
